Ordered through Uber Eats. One steak burrito and one chicken bowl and a chips & queso. Chicken Bowl #1- it had corn & salsa in it despite not being ordered. We have a tomato allergy so that item was inedible, bummer. We called and they were apologetic but the only way to get new food was to drive to pick it up... so we did. Chicken Bowl #2 - it was pretty average, smothered with what looked like 2 handfuls of cheese but not much of anything else. Steak Burrito - the steak was very poor quality, grey sirloin. The rest of the items were tasty but of course my food was now cold due to the needing to drive to get the food. Chips & Queso - solid but small queso portion. Overall, pretty disappointed in the incorrect order and cold, somewhat flavorless food. read more

I think this place definitely has potential, but they've missed the mark on their tacos. The fish taco was more a mountain of cheese and cole slaw rather than really being a fish taco. It's really quite a shame considering the fish itself was pretty good but it was just covered with too much to even really be able to taste it. And definitely recommend using fewer of the different ingredients on the tacos because looking at their menu, it really does look like they have a lot of cool and tasty toppings for the tacos. All of the sauces sound really interesting as well. I did really enjoy the chips and salsa that came as a side dish for the tacos. All of the taco orders come with two tacos and chips and salsa. read more

Quality tacos at this place! They have so many different options you can either create your own tacos or get a specialty one. I decided to get two specialty ones, the general tsos and the bbq. Both were delicious, but the general tsos was my favorite. They also give you chips and salsa with your order. Bonus if you are a student and show your student ID- 2 tacos and a fountain drink for $7.50. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area. read more

Our lunch was delicious! Honey Chipotle Chicken, which I asked for grilled chicken instead of fried. They were able to swalirch with no problems. Shrimp Quesadilla was amazing with large shrimp! The burrito was so filling they really did an amazing job! Kudos to the chef! read more

Unfortunately, tacoholics was a disappointment. It was dirty in there - the tables left unclean with food pieces and dirty napkins around on the tables and floors. Nonetheless, our food was decent. I had the tacos but I could only eat 2/3 because the third was covered in the oil/grease from the steak. It was disgusting. And it wasn't like the oil came from the other tacos and dripped out as I ate - the tacos were basically sitting in a pool of it, and by the time I got to the third taco, the tortilla couldn't hold up. Flavor was good though and I liked the chips and guac, I just would personally appreciate if my tacos weren't swimming. Probably will pass on this place next time I'm in the area. read more

So excited that this place finally opened, and ESPECIALLY excited that the food is amazing! My fiancé and I came for lunch on Sunday and there was no wait. We ordered, got our drinks, and the food came out practically immediately - which makes sense, since they started out as a food truck. I got two beef tacos, which were seasoned really well and came with a ton of beef. The chips and salsa that come with it are also awesome! My fiancé did the coconut shrimp, crispy chicken, and tofu. All three were delicious and had a ton of filing inside. I love how customizable everything is, and we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. read more

My boyfriend and I are staying at the double tree in Eatontown so we decided to go on door dash and see what they have to offer. We ordered the crispy shrimp tacos, beef tacos, nachos, chips/guac. All I have to say is YUMM!!! This food is delicious and authentic I am literally saying "omg this is so good" in between every bite. I never made a yelp and because of this food my boyfriend suggested I let you guys know how amazing these crispy shrimp tacos are and to let the owners/ workers know that it doesn't go unnoticed when you put your heart into your food. We were looking to hire their food truck so stopped by the restaurant to try. We tried several tacos: fried avocado, southwest chipotle beef, grilled shrimp, general tso's chicken, and rice & beans side. The staff was friendly & welcoming.. Having grown up in NYC & spending many yrs in TX & CA we know & appreciate well-prepared ethnic food. While i didn't expect the authenticity and quality of a full service restaurant in this extension of a food truck business, I was annoyed at the lack of even an attempt at authenticity and quality. From the chilled store-bought flour tortillas to the flavorless beans we half-hoped - for their sake - they'd save the effort for the main items in the entrees. Another disappointment & we were tripping over each other to get out of the place. It is hard to understand how they get away with suggesting they serve Tex-Mex in Red Bank which has so many good restaurants. What a wasted opportunity! read more

No authenticity (which some hipster foodies wrote these were authentic for some odd reason.) cold shredded cheese on a ton of lettuce and little meat? That's just bad. There are a lot of places in Red Bank to get good tacos. There are a few things that make Tacoholics special. First, their sauces. They are made in house and all offer unique tastes. The Bang sauce is the top dog for my taste. That creamy Thai chili flavor with the right amount of spice and sweetness works well with all their proteins. General Tso's and Honey Chipotle are also special. Second. Their vegetarian tacos are really good. They give great flavor to their Tofu and the Fried Avocado is fantastic as well. A bit of advice for the Fried Avocado, ask that it be freshly fried. When it's hot it's amazing, worthy of rating them four stars easy! If it's cold or not fresh it will greatly disappoint, light years different in flavor and texture. The inconsistency with the Fried Avocado is reason to drop that fourth star. Third, they are very affordable for the amount of food and quality. Finally the staff in general are attentive, hard working, and easy going. They are worth the visit and again, make sure that Fried Avocado is piping hot. It makes a ton of difference. read more
