Like any craft, shooting takes repetition -- and that means going through a lot of targets. Most ranges sell targets with a 2-3 inch gap between the edge of the paper and the printed target image. That's normal. But this range sells targets that clip within an inch of the scoring line on their holders. Then they turn around and charge you $1 for every hole that goes past that line. It's a setup, and it feels like a scam. No other range I've been to does this. And unlike most ranges that charge you upfront, Johns Creek Indoor Range waits until the end so they can nickel‑and‑dime you for every "over‑the‑line" hole. It's a tactic that takes advantage of new shooters and anyone who doesn't know their system. A range should help people learn -- not create a trap to squeeze extra money out of customers. This practice is misleading, unfair, and something no shooter should have to deal with.

I was strongly encouraged to purchase a one-year membership, but after experiencing the facility firsthand, I believe the membership program is highly misleading and completely inappropriate for the level of service being provided. The staff members demonstrate a shocking lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. Their attitudes are arrogant, disrespectful, and completely inconsistent with what customers should expect from a firearms-related business. Most concerning of all is the apparent lack of safety awareness. The careless attitudes, tone, and behavior displayed by the staff are deeply troubling in an environment where firearm safety should be the absolute highest priority. Overall, the condition, atmosphere, and operational standards of this shooting range are far below acceptable standards. I am extremely disappointed with the experience and would not recommend this facility to anyone who values professionalism, safety, and respect.

It's a big difference compared to other ranges where all you smell is lead and gunpowder the entire time. They have plenty of parking. If you have never been there you have to complete a standard form and watch a video on gun safety. The video is about 10-15 minutes long. After that you can pay to use the range. They have a seperate area for rifles and handguns. I was able to get everything I needed there. I spoke to one of the firearms instructor and he provided some good tips for me to shoot better. Everyone was very nice there. In the end I spoke to Melissa. She showed me around and told me about the classes they offered. Once the holidays are over my husband and I plan on coming back to get private instruction hopefully from Melissa. They will turn the building into a new state of the art E911 call center and keep the shooting ranges for the local and surrounding Law Enforcement Officers. They will be open maybe another month or so. But that aside I thought it right to recognize SharpShooters as one of the top notch shooting ranges in the area. A very clean and organized front part of the business with pleasant and very knowledgeable counter representatives. Including ammunition, targets and even a gun smith shop. Training of all types available with actual class rooms. The store has many ranges available with multiple layers of security to get in and out including video, viewing windows and range master to insure proper usage of firearms. All is very impressive. I even made a few friends with some of the LEO's. One even was admiring my firearm so I let him test it. I thought my fireman was pulling a little to the left but after seeing his target with the bullseye blown out I knew it wasn't the firearm. lol. The lighting is different than I'm use to and I was just starting to get in the groove. lol. Oh well. I'm disappointed in the closing but happy for the City of Roswell and all the LEO's that will be able to use the facility.

If you are near here, they will most likely overcharge you it's only $10 to rent a gun though so I guess that's pretty good. Three people , one gun rented (we brought ours) and only $22 each for 9mm ammo and .40 was more. I really don't know how the total was $160 though ! We are definitely never going back. Too pricey ! And they have small selection of guns to RENT. Price has gone up significantly if you're out of town or on a fun date and don't regularly shoot DONT recommend it. Overall nice set up friendly community just not friendly to your wallet , guess I'll make the extra 30 minute drive to Buford or lilburn !
