When I looked at their menu there were many things I thought I would like: Calamari, Conch fritters, fish tacos, corn on the bob... But I went for the poke and stuck to my decision. The description of the dish included mango (I don't like it) and rice. I asked if I could remove those to ingredients and keep everything else: seaweed, cucumbers, edamame, carrots and pickled onions. Without hesitation the guy cooking said "absolutely, what I'll do is add extra tuna so you don't stay hungry without the rice". How cool is that?!? In about 5 minutes, I had my poke, that looked more like a salad at this point, really nice plated, and absolutely delicious. They also had fresh starfruit juice that my friend bought and said it reminded her of the one her mom made when she was little. She also ordered the cracked conch po'boy and said it was amazing!
