This hit the spot! After a fun late night at the Hard Rock, we took a left turn to Jerk Guy Ian's, which is a food truck situated right in front of an Exxon gas station. We could smell the food as soon as we stepped out of our vehicle. I loved the portion and the flavors. You can taste the freshness and love in the meat. The rice and peas that came with it were also super flavorful. We got the mild sauce on top and it was fire but I do think next time I'll bump it up to hot since I love spicy. This will be a new go to late spot for us. I highly recommend you try

Hands down the best jerk chicken I've had. He is super nice and cool. The portion is unbelievable for the price it's well worth. The wait is worth it even if its busy it's a cool chill spot to just hang out. Good vibes. Had the bbq ribs as well and that's good. If I could, I would give this place no stars jerk guy iron was awful. The food wasn't good at all. The chicken tasted really still. The jerk sauce did not taste like jerk at all. The food was cold even after I received it off the grill the mac & cheese was really cold. Had no flavor. It just didn't taste good at all. Ian the owner and chef should taste his food before serving it to customers. It was tasteless and the sauce was watered down. The chicken was shriveled up and dry. I had to throw out $60.00 worth of food. I could not even give it to anyone to taste. The place is clean and his customer service was great. read more

One of the very few OG spots that you will consistently get an amazing plate every single time you stop by. Jerk Chicken & Jerk Ribs are the best !!! Best Ribs you will ever have period! He has the best sauce. It's absolutely perfect. Very citrusy hot the right amount of tenderness amount of sweetness, and even the texture in the viscosity is really good. The ribs itself have the right caramelization the right flavor and the tenderness is pretty much fall off the bone and gives you a nice crunchiness you got a try. read more

I can't believe this guy sold me this nastiest shrimp and rice for 20$ . It really suck and rice was old and dried. I swear this has to be worst food I bought for 20$ . I'm visiting from Philadelphia and I'm a chef . I got here late most the place closed early so I checked the internet for late night food and I see this jerk guy Ian . Honestly the ribs were mostly fat and the chicken had my friend in the bathroom all night :( It was late. But still . Seemed like the ribs were overcooked but still mostly fat .... No sauce on top. The guy up front was friendly. read more

This place has one of the best jerk bbq chicken.. the meat falls right off the bones. Well smoked with a lot of flavor. The chicken rice and ribs are delicious the sauce is amazing. There is a bit of a weight because a lot of people come to get big orders but the wait is worth it. Jerk Guy Ian post's up in the Exxon gas station parking lot. This is some pretty good jerk chicken for a very reasonable price. I got the large, which was just under fourteen dollars. Ian's small portion should be more than enough for a regular person (don't remember price). Great smokiness to the chicken, with a sauce added ranging from mild to hot. I went with hot, which I didn't find too spicy, and tasted really good. It reminded me of BBQ sauce. It comes with a side of rice and peas, which I wish were a little better, and they also sold ribs. But in all honesty, I'll come here after a night out, ask Ian to drown the food in the sauce, and have at it. At that point, pretty much everything tastes good. There are two portable tables there, and you can bring your own drinks. But if I had to eat my jerk chicken in my car, it wouldn't have been a real issue, like some other food. I just walked up to Ian and asked for the Jerk chicken, then sat down at the table. He served me the chicken and then I payed him. Cash only! Definitely worth checking out on the weekend. Definitely going back to this little hidden South Florida gem, and I'm taking my scotch bonnet sauce with me. read more

They weren't too busy when I went just a few people eating. This is a Mexican and Venezuelan food truck with many things to try. We ordered a few things we wanted to try. First the steak burrito it wasn't huge but it was packed with flavor. We also tried the hotdog which was unique it had corn, cheese , onions and sauces. And a parrilla which had meat, chicken and sausage on top of fries. Overall I liked the steak flavor and the burrito the most.

Absolutely the best jerk I've ever had! Me & my family live over an hour out of town & have made so many trips to & from Hollywood, FL JUST for the jerk ribs. Jerk guy Ian is the true definition of a genuine Jamaican chef. A super nice, respectful man who takes pride in his food. The chicken has an amazing charred skin, soft and juicy in the center.
