They had a blast playing games and enjoying some friendly competitions. We picked Birthday Package which included pizza, drinks and dessert. There is a back party room has two tables and fits comfortably around 10 to 12 kids. I especially liked the large glass observation window, which allowed us to watch the kids while they played. Each game lasts about 18 minutes, providing a nice rhythm for the kids to cycle back to the room for snacks and drinks. However, I do have a few suggestions regarding the birthday experience and food policies. First, we were disappointed to learn we couldn't bring our own cake. My daughter was quite let down, as the provided cupcakes didn't feel quite right for a milestone 10th birthday. We were also informed that if we wanted to bring any extra food or treats, they had to be individually wrapped, which is very limiting. Additionally, our host was not very engaging. They simply explained how the room and games worked, making the experience feel a bit transactional rather than celebratory. Despite these minor issues, it was a great party overall. If you grew up before Roblox, this place feels like human Tetris in the best way possible! We visited during my kids' spring break, and it was such a fun, high-energy experience. We did two rounds at 18 minutes each, and it honestly felt like just two minutes of nonstop cardio an amazing workout without even realizing it. The customer service was excellent, and the staff were super helpful and welcoming. The bathrooms were clean, and parking was easy on a weekday, which made the visit even smoother. We're already thinking this could be a great spot for my son's future birthday party. Wow this place was amazingly fun! Coming from out of town to visit family in SD I saw this and thought it would be fun to get the fam together and play! I saw they only had 2 locations: SD & NY. I also saw price differences on their websites Child/Adults/Gamer. So I emailed them to get it clarified. They responded promptly and also provided me a discount code. I purchased a total of 8 Gamers. We arrived about 15mins earlier than our scheduled 1pm. Everyone in our party had already signed the waivers ahead of time so we actually ended getting started earlier than our scheduled 1pm start. The lady that was there was kind she gave us a small run down. They provided free lockers. They sold snack and drinks. Prior to the games there's also an introductory video that they play for game rules. Green=Safe, Red=loose lives, Blue=you have to clear to move on. It was so much fun, great team building and great physical workout, be prepared to sweat!!!! lol So much screams, laughter, excitements and panics trying to stay away from the red blocks. As the levels increase the Red blocks become more challenging to avoid. Wear something comfortable and closed toe shoes. The place is clean and staff really friendly! If you are looking for a spot to use up a ton of energy and fire up all of your competitive friends, this is the spot. My husband booked a session for a small group of us to play together in one of the rooms. Our host was super friendly and even offered to take a picture of us before we started so we wouldn't look so sweaty after playing. She clearly went over all the directions, made sure we knew the safety rules, and let us play through our first session. The game is super fun. We did the speed round where the room will have different patterns and your goal is to tap all the blue tiles while avoiding the red tiles. Each level got more and more intense as you go, and it was fun to try and finish each round as fast as possible. We had a blast! After our first session, we took a break while they set up the next session, and our host asked if we preferred to do a puzzle version of the game. We tried it out and had so much fun with that as well! The room will show you a pattern and your goal is is to try and figure out how to complete that pattern with only one "life". It was a great challenge and helped us slow down to watch and see what would be the best way to get through the puzzle. I had such a fantastic time and am hoping they continue to open up more locations all around. This would be great for children, teens, and adults alike. We were all adults, but I could totally see this for team building, birthday parties, weekend activities, etc. My only regret is not taking pictures or a video of the room myself because I put everything away in the lockers since the rooms look so cool! The format was well-planned to allow game time, rest, more game time, then food. Our host even gave the kids an extra five minutes before the bonus birthday round. She was extremely attentive the whole time and kept checking on us, and also provided a lighter and candle for the birthday song. The kids loved the game and were dripping in sweat! For us parents, it was the easiest birthday party we ever planned. All we had to do was book it and show up, then relax and watch the kids play. We want to come back and play ourselves! My only minor critique is that there is nowhere to refill your water other than the bathroom sink. They have water bottles and Gatorade for purchase, but our kids finished those after round 1. Overall, while it was a bit pricey, the ease of planning and level of fun made this an ideal birthday party location. read more

We had the best time at Squarena for Father's Day! First of all, booking was super easy. We had to email and reschedule last minute. The customer service team responded within 20 minutes and was being super flexible. We brought the kids (3yoa to 8yoa), the father and the grandfather to play. Everyone had a blast! We got the larger room to fit 8 of us and it didn't feel crowded at all. The games and levels are very well designed that to be fun and challenging enough for both the 3yoa and the 70yoa grandpa. Everyone walked out with a huge smile and a sweaty face. The place is spotlessly clean. Although the game room was exciting, it was helpful that the lobby/rest area was cool and calm. I booked 6 of us adults in the larger room. We started out with the speed round and ended with the puzzle round, which was definitely challenging. Calvin was great at explaining all of the rules and helping us set up our phone to record the madness. He even kindly offered to let us do a short speed round since we had missed recording the initial round. This was so fun! We went as a family for a teen birthday, but all ages had a great time. There are 18 minute (I believe) sessions and you get two. The object of the game is to step on or press all the blue tiles without hitting the red ones, but the tiles move! You're trying to beat all 12 levels within the 18 minutes and if you step on a red tile the level you are on restarts. You get like 20 lives. We did the basic one first and the second round we got to choose from the same level but try to beat the time to make the leaderboard, a harder version of what we did already or a puzzle round. We chose puzzle and it was definitely more challenging but fun for our group. They gave us a bonus birthday surprise as well ;) The staff was friendly and the game was fun. read more

I can honestly say it was one of the best family activities we've done in a longtime. I think it beats any of the theme parks in the area. Getting there was super easy, plenty of parking, and the space is brand new, clean, and the tech is top notch. We got the 8 person room for 4 kids, 3 adults, and a grandparent. Kids were 2 to 8 - even the 2 year old liked it. I liked how the game was setup as us against the machine and how it started easy and each level up got a little harder. There were no fights amongst the kids because they were not competing against each other but rather working as a team to beat the level. Kids were sweating a lot and burning up that energy. I had so much fun I want one of these machines in my garage!! I could use it every day for a workout. The staff was great and made us feel at home.
