Ordered a boba drink with pictures of boba in it only to get my drink without boba, as it was an additional charge

Every time I visit Mayfair, I get a matcha latte milk tea. The only issues I have with Bubblicious is my drink I order is always $8.03! Also, they only have one size if I had to guess it's 14oz and feels a little pricey (coming from a jobless teenager). As for the teas themselves, every drink I've gotten has been visually stunning and have good taste and texture, staff is friendly when asking questions about substituting ingredients or alternatives if your preference is unavailable. The little stand is always busy but staff keeps up well, I take my drink to go so I can't say on the area itself. read more

So my sisters and I have been to this kiosk multiple times, and for the majority of visits the service and drinks and been incredible! But when we came in today, one of the workers had the most awful attitude. I think her name was Peach, but she had glasses with a chain and hair in a bun with the ends dyed a blue. my sister has a gluten allergy, and wanted to know if the Caramel sauce used in a drink had gluten listed in the ingredients. At first it seemed the worker didn't hear right and just rudely cut her off saying "it's a shake, there's no tea in it". when we clarified we were asking about the caramel sauce, she sighed and rolled her eyes saying "its caramel. Just caramel." and kept cutting us off. Caramel sauce is can be made with a binding agent that has wheat, this can severely affects my sisters health, and a quick look at the ingredients list on the bottle right next to her could have answered our question. Her entire demeanor was annoyed and treating us like we don't know what we're talking about concerning my sisters own allergy. Me and my sisters did not engage anymore and just walked away to order from the electronic kiosk. When the worker turned, we see she has her AirPods in and ignoring other customers coming up to the counter in favor of being on their phone until they also move to the electronic kiosk. Though her coworkers were nicer and helpful to other customers they interacted with. Me and my sisters have all worked in customer service, my sisters in food service, we all could never imagine handling something this way. Pretty solid for a mall boba tea place, when I lived in the area I was coming here all the time. Definitely the best in the MKE area, too, imo. Lots of options and flavors but I'm a taro kind of gal. Looking at some recent reviews, it looks like people have had trouble with the tapioca pearls being undercooked and the drinks being too watered down. I never had those problems, but it could've been an off day/stress of the holidays. Staff are always friendly and chill. read more

Very good boba I recommend the snowy milk with Carmel if your basic like me it would take long sometimes but sometimes it worth it to.

I am pretty picky about my bubble tea, and I am still in search of a good boba place in the MKE area. This place is located in the mall, and I was hopeful considering the decent reviews on here. If you are looking for authentic bubble tea, I would not recommend it. The tapioca bubbles have a horrible texture (not soft and chewy, it has the consistency of biting into one of those marshmallow mints, which is NOT what the texture is supposed to be). The stuff here is way too sweet, and I feel like it is not mixed well. I definitely noticed my drink separating 15 mins into drinking it... The people are nice, but there was a lot of confusion the day that I went in terms of who ordered what. I would rather drive down to china town than waste my money on sub-par bubble tea. read more

Normally I would give this place 5 stars because I come here so frequently and leave satisfied. I always get the same drink, milky taro with milk pudding + boba and it never disappoints. It's not the extreme sweetness that you may have at other bubble tea places. However one time when I went I had to wait 20+ minutes before I could order just to find out after waiting they were out of tapioca. Quite disappointing but I guess that happens. Then I get my drink and as I'm leaving, I notice they forgot to add the milk pudding. They did end up adding it when I went back but it was just annoying to have to wait back in the long line to get my drink fixed. Other than that one time, I've had such good experiences here. read more

A small little shop that serves up delicious Bubble tea or Boboa tea. There's many flavors and you could exclude the Boboa if you want. It's a great place to get some milk tea if you're craving some tea or just something to drink. Service was very quick and friendly. I've been wanting to stop here for so long, but the fact that it's in a mall always deters me. Finally decided to run in this afternoon and I almost think it was worth the hassle of parking and running inside. The wait was kind of long..I'd say a total of 15 minutes to pay and get my drink when there was only 1 person in line ahead of me. I know that seems short, but when you're standing there, it's kind of annoying. Located on the second floor right next to the food court. read more

Located in the mall, right in front of the food court. This place is a small counter, surrounded by photos of different bubble tea options. A great combination would be milky taro with milk pudding! They offer two sizes, but I like the power cup. It's the best! TIP: I strongly recommend asking for light ice to have more drink and a less watered-down drink later. Furthermore, I also ask for this drink with light sugar, or the least amount of sugar, because it is really sweet otherwise. Regularly, the service here is quick and the employees are always friendly! One time, the cup sealer was not working, and the employees were getting backed up with orders. They handled the situation very well, and once my drink was sealed and completed, the employee was very appreciative about it. I was not into bubble tea until this place! This place is probably one of my favorite bubble tea shops in Milwaukee. I agree with some of the comments below about the boba though; it's definitely hit or miss whenever I order and sometimes they don't even have it ready. Otherwise, I've only had one experience where the tea was too sweet and I couldn't finish it. Overall, I really like their drinks and always find myself going to mayfair just to grab one. I've been a customer since the kiosk opened and over the years the quality (and service) has significantly changed. They're known for their tiger milk tea that over time has had less and less brown sugar stripes or sauce at the bottom. You're asked if you want boba (which defeats the purpose of ordering bubble tea to begin with) and now are charged for it as it doesn't come with the drink. It was bad enough the quality of the drinks decreased but to often have very little boba included when it came with the drink and now to be charged for it and it still to not even be a proper scoop with proper amount of brown sugar sauce is genuinely a grift. I know good workers are hard to find and they've had outstanding employees (ironically all who make the drinks well and sans the noted problems in my review) that I have to wonder if folks leave simply because it's difficult to do their jobs well there. I'd love to see this place turnaround as they did make the best (and for a time only) proper boba tea in MKE. read more

Wow my drink literally tasted like warm tap water with a little bit of who-knows-what. Tap water would have been better tbh. I took one sip of my gf's drink and it tried to kill me (couldn't take another sip). Must have been a fluke I have no idea how this has 4/5 avg stars read more

Hidden gem bubble tea spot located inside of a mall. Excellent bubble tea with fast and friendly service. Initially when I tried the bubble tea, I got the Thai milk tea with boba - for me, it was too sweet but I decided to give it another chance. Second time I went there, I got the milky taro with milk pudding and it very quickly became my go to flavor. I would highly recommend trying this place but would suggest asking for less sugar! read more

The drinks are okay. The boba is not soft like how it should be. Also, service isn't that great. You have to wait for the workers to call your number when your drinks are ready. But, they call your number so softly and don't even care to say it again. The workers just leave the drinks on the counter and start chit chatting with each other. Very unprofessional. I had the day off and stopped by the mall to return some things when I came across this new addition near the food court. Milk tea has been something I've been wanting to try for a while but just never quite got around to...until now! I stopped by here for a sweet treat on a hot sunny day and was NOT disappointed. They have a wide array of delicious-looking and delicious-sounding drinks, but having never had boba or milk tea before I wanted to try something completely out of the ordinary for me. I ended up picking out the Matcha Green Tea Latte, something I would normally never gravitate towards. The girl working the register was friendly and pleasant and I received my drink quickly. After snapping a quick pic of the beautiful, very instagrammable white and green layers, I grabbed an extra-large straw and dove in, unsure of what exactly to expect. The drink itself was very creamy and sweet (sweeter than I thought it would be, but not TOO sweet) with the wonderful grassy earthiness of matcha. Boba themselves don't have a lot of flavor, but it's fun to add a little gummy bear-like snack in every sip. I would definitely return, and actually I plan to very soon to try some of the other flavors! read more

Let's get this straight right away: I LOVE bubble tea, and the bubble tea here at Bubblelicious is no exception. Here's what I don't love: HUGE lines because of the shop being horrendously understaffed, kind of bad service at times (probably because of the understaffing thing), and most importantly the utter lack of preparation and anticipation for the needs of their customers. The last three times I have been to this location, I have made it to the front of the line only to be told they ran out of boba. That's THREE TIMES IN A ROW! This place basically has one job which is to continue making boba throughout the day so that they don't run out! If it's busy they should be able to anticipate running out and start making some more ahead of time. If I wanted iced black or green tea without boba I'd go to Starbucks. It is very irritating and they don't care, it's basically like "yeah we ran out do you want to wait 30 minutes?" ...... no. I don't. read more

I got the tiger sugar black milk tea w brown sugar boba and it was amazing, my boyfriend got the latte shake with caramel and boba and it was also very good. the only complaint is the boba isn't the freshest but it's very understandable and you don't notice it much cus the boba is so good. read more

Don't bother doing it since they will not complete you order before hand, you sit waiting while all of the people in line (after you get there to find your order was not completed) have their order and are on there way. If you want to find the best boba drink in the neighborhood, look no further! Their boba is delicious and their menu has a wide range of drinks from shakes to non-dairy drinks! Walked by the other day after shopping and there was an employee using sign language with a customer, and I thought that was pretty amazing!
