Habibi frappe and pistachio iced latte

Very friendly staff and delicious drinks! It is so cozy in there with plenty of places to sit, read, work. Beautiful authentic music and menu! The music is a tiny bit loud, but I love the songs!

Yummmmmmm. Oh my gosh the pistachio latte was so delicious. I love the spin it has with their spices. The new space that has been added on to Melrose does not disappoint. Beautiful, stunning inside decor. Very chic and modern. The baristas were knowledgeable and knew a lot about their menu. The selection of unique baked goods was out of this world! I got the honeycomb bread with honey, literally so good. My daughter got the coolest looking cake pop! The coffee cups and the to go containers were elite, too. Highly recommend!!

iced shaken espresso (extra sweet) by my request

I had the iced shaken espresso and it was delicious. The service was fast and nice ambiance.

Nice atmosphere. Aesthetic. Fairly priced products. GREAT selection of bakery items, and viral treats Wasn't a fan of the coffee though. It tasted more like cloves than yemini coffee itself. Spiced a little too strong. Gave it another chance in iced and it didn't change.

The Middle Eastern pastries and coffees are excellent, though a bit steep in price. It's a better deal if you're going to sit and savor the coffee over a book or conversation. Remember, no matter how good a book it is, it's rude to read when someone is talking to you. Although I think the ownership is the same for the two parts, the former Albanian/Macedonian family diner property is now split into two separate operations. The Melrose part is still a diner but without the Macedonian and Albanian choices, it's been remodeled and it's more expensive. The Haraz side is a good place to meet friends, read a book, or get work done. The coffee selections are extensive and authentic. The snacks are delicious and Halal, I am especially fond of the burger shaped baqlawa pistachio sweet that is made for two but I had no one to share with. There is absolutely no need for the extensive use of plastic, I don't understand why coffee shops and bakeries arent paying attention to the health and environmental threats of plastics. I couldn't help but notice offensive behavior from some customers, I would like to suggest you don't show the soles of your feet or shoes here, there are limits to "making yourself at home" when you're not in your home. If you want to sit down and have breakfast, see the host to sit on the Melrose side where there is table service, but then if you want to add a Turkish or Saudi coffee after, you'll need to order at the Haraz side. Although in the Middle East coffee is not a hurried event, service is actually pretty prompt. As I would expect at an Arab establishment, the young workers are very respectful of me (old man), with none of the mangled service English of mainstream coffee chains ("I'll help who's next in line," and "have a nice rest of your day" just grate this old fashioned curmudgeon) and instead the polite "Shokran" ensured my return.

They said that brewed coffee and espresso was the same thing. Was rude about it. At least the place was clean.

Coffee is now ubiquitous with daily life in America, which brings me to Qamaria Coffee. Hatem and Munif are two Yemeni entrepreneurs with a passion for Yemeni Coffee and the joint goal of wanting to share it with the world. They founded Qamaria Coffee in 2019 to accomplish this task and in January 2024, they opened a location near Milwaukee in Greenfield, WI. Qamaria offers a variety of dessert options, including a Chocolate Tres Leches, Pistachio Tres Leches, and Caramel Tres Leches cakes. I went with the caramel version, which is described by the cafe as "A decadent caramel treat inspired by tres leches cake, creamy, sweet, and irresistibly smooth". If you've never had Tres Leches Cake, it's a light sponge cake soaked in three types of milk (evaporated, condensed, and whole) that's popular in Latin America. The cake originated in Nicaragua during the 19th century, so on first glance it's not exactly a Yemeni dessert. Doing some research, Middle Eastern variations exist that feature cardamom or rose water and some Qamaria locations do have a Rose Tres Leches. It's fine that the Greenfield location did not have that variety as I honestly would have got the caramel version anyway. My slice was perfectly moist as there was plenty of milk soaked in, but not so much that it made a mess or compromised the structure of the cake. The bottom layer was soft and Tiramisu-like in texture, while the cream on top was rich and thick. Personally, I found the caramel flavor to be mild, but delicious. As it is served chilled, it paired nicely with a hot cup of coffee (which they have a plethora of options to choose from). Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews

I was kindly greeted on walk in and was given plenty of time to decide what i wanted to try. I decided to go with the Blackberry Lavender White Chocolate Mocha and it's so good! I will definitely be back to try more flavors. My coffee was done fairly quick, but while waiting i looked around at their shop-able section. Business cards for each small design featured and so many cute things to choose from, t-shirts, mugs, key chains, cards and more. In the corner of this shop theres also a cute little friend hanging out. An Axolotl!! How adorable. I was getting my coffee to-go today, but absolutely plan to come again to stay. Their sitting area is private and is the homiest I've ever felt in a coffee shop. Theres games available to play inside, and lots of space to sit outside as well on either side of the shop. So super happy i gave this place a go, and cant wait to come back for more.

This coffee shop was recommended to me by a colleague so I dropped in before going to luxe bay. The cafe is bright and beautifully designed. They have a full cafe and full bar as well. Food: Ordered my usual London Fog Tea Latte, with a little lavender, a little vanilla, and extra frothy. I would have liked it served in a mug, but they only offer paper cups. The drink was nicely made. I am used to having the tea steeped first and then finished with frothed milk. In this case, the milk was frothed first and the tea bag was added afterward. The result was a very frothy drink, but the tea flavor was a bit weaker than I prefer. Service: I arrived close to noon and the place was about half full. There was only one person working, taking orders, handling payment, and making drinks. Because of that, it took a while to place my order. That said, the person doing all the work was super friendly and helpful, and took the time to make the drink properly. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is relaxing, with lots of big windows and natural light. There are several different seating areas with various table and chair configurations. There is counter seating, high tops, and overstuffed leather chairs. It was a cold day, but the space was very comfortable inside. Everyone was having quiet conversations and being respectful of the environment. Overall, a nice visit. It would benefit from a bit more staffing to speed things up, and ceramic cups for hot drinks would be a great addition.
