We tried rodeo matcha at the Riverwest farmers market. after constantly seeing such long lines, we had to see what all the fuss was about and we are so glad we tried it! Unfortunately they ran out of the fun flavors so we ordered the standard matcha with vanilla syrup and it was delicious! You can tell the attention to detail and care the drink is made with. The price was $9. I'm not a huge matcha person but the drink was very flavorful and delicious without being too sweet.

    Strawberry, toasted marshmallow, cookie butter

Such a hidden gem! We tried three matcha drinks -- strawberry, toasted marshmallow, and cookie butter -- and every single one was phenomenal. You can truly taste how fresh everything is, and it's clear each drink is made to order with so much care. This is a pop-up inside a small Mexican restaurant, and the concept alone is so special. He's curating ceremonial-grade matcha, and you can tell there's real intention and love behind every cup. The flavors were perfectly balanced, unique, and not overly sweet -- just really well crafted. If you're a matcha lover (or even if you're not yet), this spot is absolutely worth checking out. Handcrafted drinks, great vibes, and an experience that feels thoughtful and personal. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Matcha was fantastic. Service was great. Owner is amazing. Helps small businesses. Will come back soon. Highly recommend

Coffee is now ubiquitous with daily life in America, which brings me to Qamaria Coffee. Hatem and Munif are two Yemeni entrepreneurs with a passion for Yemeni Coffee and the joint goal of wanting to share it with the world. They founded Qamaria Coffee in 2019 to accomplish this task and in January 2024, they opened a location near Milwaukee in Greenfield, WI. Qamaria offers a variety of dessert options, including a Chocolate Tres Leches, Pistachio Tres Leches, and Caramel Tres Leches cakes. I went with the caramel version, which is described by the cafe as "A decadent caramel treat inspired by tres leches cake, creamy, sweet, and irresistibly smooth". If you've never had Tres Leches Cake, it's a light sponge cake soaked in three types of milk (evaporated, condensed, and whole) that's popular in Latin America. The cake originated in Nicaragua during the 19th century, so on first glance it's not exactly a Yemeni dessert. Doing some research, Middle Eastern variations exist that feature cardamom or rose water and some Qamaria locations do have a Rose Tres Leches. It's fine that the Greenfield location did not have that variety as I honestly would have got the caramel version anyway. My slice was perfectly moist as there was plenty of milk soaked in, but not so much that it made a mess or compromised the structure of the cake. The bottom layer was soft and Tiramisu-like in texture, while the cream on top was rich and thick. Personally, I found the caramel flavor to be mild, but delicious. As it is served chilled, it paired nicely with a hot cup of coffee (which they have a plethora of options to choose from). Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews

I noticed that the folks in the neighborhood like to gather here and hang out. Love the community feeling! I have ordered a variety of dishes, but I have to say the chilaquiles are my favorite with carnitas. The pork is tender and juicy! Their coffee is decent, although I like mine a lot stronger. Overall, I've been happy with my experience and definitely plan on returning!

The food and service has always been good. Today, we ordered Chilaquiles with Carnitas added in a verde salsa, Corned Beef Hash, and sides of hashbrowns and 2 pancakes (instead of toast). The Chilaquiles were very good and the over easy eggs were perfect. The carnitas were tender and nicely seasoned. The housemade corned beef cubes were tender and the diced pan fried potatoes had a nice latin seasoning blend. I just wish the hash had diced bell peppers and onions. I also wish the poached eggs I asked for with the corned beef hash were cooked properly. I was expecting the type of poached eggs that are like small balloons waiting to be popped so the egg yolk oozes out over the corned beef hash. These poached eggs were over-cooked and looked un-appetizing, but tasted fine. The hashbrowns were perfect - crispy and tender and properly seasoned! The side of pancakes were fluffy and absorbed the syrup quickly. Overall a good visit. The food was mostly on point, except for the disappointing poached eggs and lack of onions and bell peppers often found in a hash. If I go back, I'll stay away from their benedicts (since poached eggs are not executed correctly, and corned beef hash, and instead stick with the Chilaquiles.
