Serious Sanji is inside what appears to be an old Cousins Subs. There is very little in the way of ambiance, but the food was very good especially for the price! We started with the crab Rangoons and the crab mixture was great! We then had the scallion oil noodles which were rather plain but not bad, we didn't get much of the soy sauce flavor. Then, we were very excited to try the Soup Dumplings, and they exceeded our expectations. They were right in line with the ones from Momo Mee downtown. Lastly, we tried the lava coconut balls, they were served super hot and they were a bit messy to eat, but again great flavor. There was lots more we wanted to try so we will be back!

Chicken soup dumplings = MUST TRY Chicken fried rice + wings = meh for me 5/5 (for dumplings alone tbh) the rest were like 2/5 First time ever trying soup dumplings and I'm officially obsessed Lowkey hard to eat (bite, sip the soup, try not to burn your tongue, then eat the rest ) but soooo worth it. The chicken soup dumplings were juicy, flavorful, and such a fun experience. I would 100% go back just for those. Fried rice? I wanted to love it but it was missing something. Wings didn't really hit either. Overall: not everything slapped... but those dumplings?? Elite. Check out the full review on Instagram: @ratedbyaleena_

I have always been surprised to see this spot get such low reviews, as I make sure to visit this restaurant every time I visit WI. It always hits the spot. Being from NY and now residing in CA, I have high expectations for dim sum, but this spot does it right. First off, I think the service is amazing. The servers are always friendly and accommodating. Even when we come in during their break periods, they always make sure we're taken care of. It's the perfect mix between not overbearing and acting like we're invisible. As for the food, the soup dumplings are a must. However, I must rave about their wonton w/ chili sauce. I think we always order 2-3 servings whether dining in or ordering delivery. The texture of the wonton is perfect in tandem with the sauce which has spice and a vinegar-y kick to it. The braised chicken feet has a lot of meat and great texture. When ordering the lotus wraps, you are given three pieces. Sticky rice with pork in the middle is a great complement to the other dim sum dishes on their menu. Lastly, try their boba drinks. Tip: 75% is the right sugar level. It's a cozy spot with a few booths on the side and some bigger tables in the middle. I also love the decor for their lights in the booth seats! You also get to see the kitchen, so that's always a plus. It's located within a plaza, so parking is plentiful. I know I'll be stopping by again whenever I visit Tosa. A++!

What a year it's been so I decided to give this establishment a try again. The young wait staff was a major turn off with customer service especially at 11:15 am and only 2 tables Based on customer service for this time frame I'd rather patronize other establishments Food was good overall

First visit tonight. I was greeted and seated almost immediately, and I noticed about a third of the restaurant was full, maybe closer to half, and it was around 7:30. I ordered the Scallion Pancake, Chicken Sanji, and Shanghai Soup Dumplings. The tables already had soy sauce, chili oil, and vinegar on them for condiments. The Scallion Pancake was crisp and delicious, maybe the best I've had in town, and it was served with a side of soy sauce. The Sanji are pan fried dumplings that can be ordered with pork, beef, or chicken filling, and my chicken sanji was good - not great, but good. I expected more savory flavor. The Shanghai Soup Dumplings are filled with pork and broth. I was impressed that the broth did not get completely absorbed into dough. Again, these were good, but I've had better tasting soup dumplings in town. Service was very good, and I saw the robot in action, serving another table. I would eat here again, but I won't rush back.

Stopped in for the viral Boba with mini Dumplings and it was so yummy! I also got the bbq pork buns which were some of the best I've had. I got the chicken fried rice but it was lacking flavor, not my fave. The staff was very friendly and greeted me at the door right away. Overall restaurant was very clean and modern.

This is an adorable little restaurant! The server informed us right away it was only her 2nd day and she was a bit nervous, but she did wonderful! There were 4 of us and we decided to share a bunch of dishes! We all enjoyed everything but agreed some things lacked the intense flavors we love from Asian meals. The table chili oil needed more flavor and a bigger kick (not spicy at all). The chicken sanji and pan fried dumplings were the tables favorites. I'd skip the shrimp rice roll next time, texture was a bit off. But, everyone LOVED their boba milk teas! Overall a good experience and I would come back to get certain items again! Good place to grab a quick yummy bite. Just wish there was a little bit more spice & flavor in the sauces. 3.5/5 (only because I've had slightly better dishes elsewhere in the city! Not because this was bad).

The food was amazing here. I really liked the vibe and the service was great! It was so good we came back the next day before we went back home. Will definitely be back!

I've been looking forward to trying Serious Sanji for a while; sadly this place definitely does not live up to all the hype. We ordered several dishes and pretty much everything was super bland and the chili oil on the table was also bland and did nothing to enhance anything. The best items we had were the roasted bbq pork burrito and the chicken pan fried dumplings. Service was just super awkward too. Overall super disappointing!

A little gimmicky but still enjoyed it. We came for a busy lunch hour. Our server was pleasant but they did seem a little short handed for the crowd. I loved the pineapple tea with lychee. I got half sugar but it was still plenty sweet. The soup dumplings were good but could have had a little more soup in them. It took a second to get a spoon to eat them with. The robot was adorable lol but as mentioned a little gimmicky. Glad to have a place like this in the area - I'd return!

The sanji and soup dumplings are delish. Customer service was okay. Its hard to get their attention for the bill. So you'll have to go up to the register to pay.

Service 5/5 Ambiance 3/5 Food 4/5 Loved the server, friendly and checked in often. I wish the robot was being used during slower times because we didn't really get to see it in action much. The booths were not evenly spaced, so it was VERY tight for us to sit and felt very congested. The soup dumplings had a lot of flavor, but the dumpling stuck often causing the soup to leak out. The cucumbers didn't have any onions as pictured and could have been more crisp. The scallion pancakes were very standard. The noodles needed a little more flavor and the chili oil provided was bland. HOWEVER... those chicken wings and the beef sanji were 10/10 and I'd go back just for that alone. It's still a new restaurant and everyone was doing a great job. I just prefer a LOT of flavor so now I know what items to pass on next time.

The restaurant is in a tucked away strip mall and is modest in size and decor. The strip mall also contains hidden treasures like a Chinese bakery/BBQ and an Asian store. We went early on a Saturday evening with friends. The service was excellent, although with some staff there were language hurdles. No matter - everyone made it work and we were left with an abundance of amazing food at a reasonable price. Wine and beers are served, as well as smoothies and other non-alcoholic drinks. BF ordered crab rangoon as a starter, which was good. He liked it more than I did, but it was nice and crispy. I just didn't think it compared to other dishes. My vegetable egg roll was very good as well, but nothing terribly unique. He went bold on the entree and ordered the pork intestine and blood cake dish. He really enjoyed it and said it was quite spicy. The portions are generous and he did bring a lot home. I ordered the homestyle tofu, which normally has pork. I got it without to make it vegetarian friendly. The textures were very good and the sauce was intensely flavorful, but mild. I also ordered a supplementary dish of braised mushrooms and Shanghai greens. Everyone at the table enjoyed this dish, particularly the greens, which are a variety of bok choy, called pac choy. The mushrooms were wonderful, with the texture of wood ears. I also had plenty of leftovers to eat the next day. Our friends ordered the Szechuan spicy pork dumplings and they got rave reviews. My cousin did say they were not overly spicy. She went on to order the sizzling black pepper beef, which she said was good, but not nearly as unique or deeply flavored as the other dishes. Her husband ordered the pork intestine with clear noodles, which he enjoyed but said was extremely spicy. He did leave a lot of sauce behind since it was so hot. He also had the ox tendon and maw in spicy sauce, which came with chopped peanuts on top. He seemed really pleased with that dish. We agreed that we would happily go back to explore the menu more. Everything was excellent and I thought the prices were generally quite reasonable, especially for the quantity of food. I do wish the menu had more descriptive text, so I could familiarize myself with the dishes. The choices are many and overwhelming and the menu is huge. I'd also love to see a symbol for vegetarian options since it's very hard to know otherwise and many of the vegetable dishes included pork or other meat. As we left the restaurant was getting increasingly busy with people waiting by the door for seats. This is a popular place for good reason.

The Spicy Pork Dumplings have become my go-to appetizer, and the fried spring rolls are also very good. On a most recent visit, we ordered hot pot. Our server brought us the sheet to make our selections. You can choose from mild broth, spicy broth, or half tray of each. The spicy is pretty hot with lots of red chili peppers soaking in it, so I scooped out the chili peppers to keep rhe flavor but lessen the impact on my palate. For 2 guests, I recommend choosing 3 items from the list, maybe 2 protein and one veggie or 2 veggie and one protein to start. You can order more if you finish and need more. This is in addition to the two appetizers you will choose, which is included with rhe hot pot dinner. It's a great value! Sze Chuan remains on my short list of go-to's for Chinese dining, and I look forward to my next visit, whenever that may be.

On entering the restaurant the hostess was nowhere to be found and two servers unfamiliar with the role tried to get me a table. Once seated I waited for 10 minutes for a server to approach me and ask for my order. A bit surprising in that the dining room probably seats 125+ and there were only 17 patrons eating or being served. Things did pick up as I was finishing my meal, perhaps they had just opened service for the evening. I ordered an appetizer, Dynamite Shrimp ($14.29) and it arrived quickly. It consisted of 10 medium sized fried shrimp on a bed of lettuce, carrots and cabbage, lightly and unevenly covered with a spiced sauce. The shrimp were nicely cooked and the sauce imparted a kick of heat. I ordered the Chang's chicken ($18.29) for my entree and an order of Chili Garlic Green Beans. ($9.29) which came with a serving of brown rice. The chicken dish was good, spicy but a bit oily. The green beans were delicious. My server was attentive, checking in on me and refilled my soda ($4.29). All in all the food was good but a bit on the expensive side coming to $60 with tax and tip. Food was plentiful so I left with enough for a second meal at home. My impression is that Chang's is still a quality choice for an evening meal.

On the order the next day, they did send the cookies, but went and billed me an extra $4.47 because I requested sweet & sour sauce to go along with the 2 orders of Chinese fried chicken sticks that I had paid for. I was thinking I'd be receiving a container of their homemade sweet & sour sauce (they advertise this on the menu for $4), that's why I didnt make a biggie about it. But then I get the bag and inside there's like 10 of those generic packs of sweet sour sauce. Like WTH! These should have automatically came with chicken sticks. Shouldn't have to pay almost $5 extra dollars for those. And both of their soups, the chicken noodle & wonton was near the spoiling stage & not very good at all. And $9 for a quart of soup when it was mostly noodles. Oh c'mon on. The Almond cookies where they used to give 5, for like $1.25, now you only get 2 of them for a whopping $2.50. What is going on? And they were soft and wet, with a strange texture. They used to be flavorful and crispy. Just ashame that a once great Chinese take-out has succumbed to this low level. One redeeming quality that they do possess, is whoever answers their phones (I've spoken with a man and a lady) are really patient, polite and nice. And that does go a long way when running a restaurant. I'll give them an extra star for that. However, I just can't get past my last experience & won't be ordering again.
