I came here on a Saturday around 7:30pm with a group of about 15 friends to play trampoline dodgeball. Sounds intense right? Add in the fact that the majority of the participants were MMA fighters, and it gets even more hardcore! When you come into to this fairly obscurely located building, you're asked to sign a waiver at the kiosk.They ask for your drivers license number, but if you don't have one they said it's fine to just put in your initials. It is a bit pricey when you're paying for more than one person. For two adults and an hour and a half of jumping, it cost us just over $50. That includes the mandatory jumping socks which they charge you $2 for. I hung on to mine in case I go back, and they also seemed like they would be great for yoga! The space itself is huge! There's a locker room (see my tip below about that), a small snack bar, a little party room for kids, washrooms, and the trampoline area! There's a large area that has dozens of trampolines all connected in a giant one, so you can jump around (and even on the sides!). I was a bit timid at first, and it takes awhile to get comfortable, but it's awesome once you get into it! There's also two smaller jumping areas for dodgeball games (they have a staff member for each game for safety). This was super fun, but I got so exhausted quickly! You have to have great cardio, or be under the age of 12, ha! There's also two fun areas: a giant foam pit where you van practice sweet jumps and flips, and a dunk zone where you can pretend to be an awesome NBA superstar. This place was crawling with kids when we got there, but they do have an adult only night on Saturdays after 10pm. I think that would be super fun! ANDREA'S ADVICE: + Bring you own lock. The lockers are free, but I've heard rumblings of theft, so if you're bringing valuables, be sure to bring a lock. +Start off with one hour. It may be tempting to go for an hour an a half or two, but unless you've had 20 espresso shots, an hour should be plenty. + Parents keep a serious eye on your kids! There were so many little ones wondering around, and we saw at least two sprained ankles. Be safe!

The design is great, holes are challenging, they have a great app to keep score we had a blast. The only downside is sometimes you need to wait for the people infront of you to finish the next hole or you feel bad others are waiting for you. But since there is no rush and everyone are having a good time no one cares. There is also a mini arcade to pass time if you arrived to early or need to wait for your time slot. Bottom line: great place and my kids are already asking when are we going again.

I went with my toddler, who's two years old, and anyone over two pays the same price. I paid about $27 with tax for the both of us. They accept debit and credit. I found it expensive, but we had a good time and it's not a regular thing for us. If you'd like to go more often, they also have a Frequent Visitors Loyalty Program that includes 10 visits for the price of eight. You pay at the kiosk and then open the wooden gate to enter, but it swings back so it took me a couple of tries with the stroller before I did sort of a wheelie with it to use the front wheels to push the gate open. The farm has a park and play structures, play areas and photo ops, a tractor ride, a few picnic areas, little shop, and washrooms. They also have different farm animals, like goats you could feed, chickens, and sheep, as well as a pheasant, deers, and a couple of peacocks. There were definitely more animals, but my little guy was actually more into the park part so we didn't get to see all of the animals. There are also random statues of jungle animals that confused me, like zebras and giraffes, but my little one enjoyed the couple of statues of monkeys with hats at the front that you can sit on and take pictures with. One of the slides has one of those wooden suspension bridges and it's actually quite steep to get up, but has a big slide to go down that can fit both kids and adults. My guy did not wanna leave this one, especially after working so hard to climb up the bridge to get to the slide! Luckily, this is the kind of place where no one judges you for your children having tantrums and needing to leave kicking and screaming lol Definitely bringing actual food instead of snacks next time, and plan to spend more time here, maybe a few hours instead of one or two. Lots to see and do! I'd also love to try the tractor ride. It only runs every couple of hours but the first one was full and the next one went into nap time so we didn't get the chance to ride it.

What I liked: + As a new course, everything is ... new. The carpets, brick, walkways between holes. Unlike many older mini-putt courses, wood isn't used here so the course will better stand the test of time. + Lots of water rushing around the course in man-made creeks, stones, a pretty mini-golf course + There are flagsticks you can take out of the holes! + Huge patio area + Lots of undulations and tiering in the greens, many holes had "rough" - longer artificial grass + Most holes have at least one moderately challenging putt + Good washrooms at the golf course clubhouse + Detailed website What I didn't like - The course doesn't take long enough to play... interestingly there is no "par" designation for each hole however I'd say most holes' par would be 2... its probably about a par 42. I used to go to the Greenboro Community Centre everyday as a child. I'd go to their park, which has…read moreswings, climbing structures, and a small wading pool with sprinklers. I also used to take ballet lessons here and attend youth dances. I visited the Centre a couple of weeks ago to see how much it's changed, and the renovations that have been done in recent years is unbelievable. They still have classes and courses for people of all ages, including day-care for preschoolers, dance and fitness classes, cooking classes, recreational sports, and arts and crafts. Construction is also currently happening to create a really large weight room and fitness centre. I was really happy to find that they still have their Friday youth dances in their gym, even after 10 years. They've even extended the community centre to include a library across the hall, which is operated by the City of Ottawa. The whole building has been renovated to become a really great community resource building. I'd definitely recommend it for parents, but also for anyone looking to take some recreational classes or use their fitness facility.

Children were brought to a splash pad without telling the parents these outings would occur. Let me be clear, I think splash pads are great, and I would have been happy to provide my kids with appropriate clothing, but I was never asked to do so. Instead, I found out my oldest child got their clothing wet and was expected to dry out in the sun before returning to an air-conditioned building, while my middle child told me they took a nap because they were so tired from the heat (because it was a heat wave and they'd walked 650m). This is also a park that I know has no bathrooms nearby, and its water fountain is broken. I was told that my children missed their turns for an activity because the long and short of it appears that the staff would call children's names to do something, and then essentially not monitor where my children were; what they were doing; whether or not they were even doing the activity they've been called for. Leaving me to believe there was little to no follow up on the part of the counselors, as well as little to no supervision of my children. The straw when my 5- and 8-year-olds came home having told me stories about watching Guardians of the Galaxy, a PG 13+ movie. She told me that she went and hid in a tent for most of the duration of the movie. As a parent, that's **exactly** what you want to hear about the type of day camp that you are sending your 5-year-old to. She spent that evening essentially crying on and off from dinner until she fell asleep because she was afraid of the "bad guys". At that point I left not one but two messages with the camp saying I expected to speak to someone the next day. I wanted to give them plenty of warning that I would be coming so that they would be prepared to speak with me. Instead, the manager was dealing with an emergency and had not mentioned to them that there would be a parent coming to speak with him and one of the counselors said I could speak with her. I have a hard time talking to counselors directly about mistakes they've made, because frankly that should be their supervisor's job. At any point, their supervisor should have stepped in and said, "How about instead of doing activities x, y, z - we do gymnastics - at our gymnastics camp." I told the counselor my daughter was very upset about the movie the prior day due to its wildly inappropriate nature. As well, I inquired about their licensing to even show a movie - considering for school movie nights licenses are required. I was given an apology from her to me, and told they would not watch any more movies and would focus more on gymnastics. I cannot tell you how upset I was on that same day when I picked my children up and found out they had started watching The Incredibles 2 during their snack, and watched the entire film which ended just in time for their lunch break. All in all, my children spent 24 hours at this camp (we missed the first day and a half) and spent 4 hours watching movies. As a stay-at-home mom, I don't actually NEED to send my kids to camp, I did it to make up for the fun times they missed when schools were closed. Instead, I feel like this camp just took up a week of our time, and that time could have been spent having fun elsewhere. I have contacted the camp via email and was told by the manager that he had read it and would be happy to arrange a meeting between me and the owners, but that I would have to email again to arrange said meeting. I've emailed and am still waiting to hear back, although I have no idea what they could say at this point in time to make up for the time my kids have lost.
