We are Buc-ee's fanatics but not show up on the first day kind of fanatics. We waited a while to make our first trip across town to Arizona's first-ever location. We have previously visited several in Texas and one 40 miles north of Denver. People who dismiss it as just a gas station have clearly never been to one. 120 gas pumps, cleanest restrooms on the road, plenty of brisket sandwiches, a wall of jerky, tons of soft drinks, coffee, and tea. All of this inside a space with housewares, clothing, hunting and camping, toys, etc. It was really fun to see the looks on the faces of people who had never been to a Buc-ee's before, including our own family members. It is a lot to take in. We loaded up on sandwiches, fudge, jerky, nuggets, drinks, and a very patriotic hot/cold drink tumbler for my wife. We spent more than we planned on, but the prices are excellent, so all in all, we didn't spend too much. Made a list of ideas for friends and family, so we'll be back to gift shop for them soon. We had to try it. We'd never been to a Buc-ee's before. Mammoth. We spent most of our time wandering around the food area. What a selection! They were carving briskets about once every 10 minutes while we were there. The food lines were nonexistent. We were especially impressed with how clean everything was. What a madhouse! Going there late at night, there must have been 200+ people there on a weekday... Maybe they're the greatest deal in down, but the drivers are absolutely crazy made much worse by the novelty of this store, reputedly the second-largest in their system. Buc-Ed's apparently brings out the worst in drivers, especially if they're "competing" for one of the Handicap spots (we actually had someone come with a hair's thickness of hitting us as we were pulling into one of the slots. I'd post their picture, but instead, have chosen one of their spokesanimals. Selection: surprisingly, for this size of store, they don't have a huge drink selection, and a lot of those were off-name brands... and few of the popular energy drinks. The food? Didn't try any of the hot food as there was a line that snaked all over the store and out the door. Crazy. Nice of Buc-ee's to provide the live entertainment, especially the people who would picked bagged smacks, eat them in line, and pretend that no one noticed when they drop the empty plastic bag on the floor. Perfect timing because it wasn't too busy. Is this place massive? Yes. Does it need to be a destination? No. Would I have waited hours just to come here? Definitely not. My daughter, husband and I visited Buc-ees on the Fourth of July. It was an experience like none I've experienced before. It's so much more than a gas station/convenience store. It's a vast space of wonderful sensory stimuli from the sites, sounds and smells of BBQ, roasted nuts, jerky, coffee, and sweets. It was wall to wall people, bright lights, merchandise and food. We explored the store, gathered up what we wanted to purchase, took pictures with Buc-ee and made our way back to the truck. We parked across from Buc-ees in the dirt because the parking lot was full. Overall a good experience. Buc'ees is clean and I noticed the entire time we were there some form of cleaning was taking place. We will go back in the near future for another visit. read more

This is the 2nd Buc-Cee's I've been to, I expected it to be busy but it's even busier than you could ever imagine. I visited this particular location at night on a Wednesday. I was excited when I finally got to the location until I realized I wasn't technically there yet. They have streets blocked off for miles so you can't turn in until after you do a U-turn about 5-10 miles down the road. Once you do the U turn, then you'll eventually get to Buc-Cees again and there will be a Q that you have to wait in to get into the parking lot. Once I was inside the place was PACKED! I honestly only went there to get a veggie burrito. A lot of people were waiting in line for meat but people were blocking the area where the food was so I had to get around people to get what I went there for. I also purchased some beaver nuts, they taste like caramel popcorn. They are really delicious. My burrito was cold, I was a bit disappointed about that. I hope the place gets a little less crowded next time I'm there. Also the customer service here is usually great, nice friendly staff! read more

I lied to everyone including myself when I swore not to come here until the hype died down. I was omw back from CA on Sunday and thought, why not?! The exit wasn't backed up and that was a good sign of the city's planning. Goodyear police were making sure everything went smoothly and they did a great job! I spent about 15 minutes from the time I exited until I entered the actual parking lot. I then got lucky and snagged a front parking spot when though I was ready to take whatever open spot I saw first. This visit was meant to be!! I made my way into the store where the craziness of Buc-cee's greeted me. I didn't know where to go first. I scanned the store and decided to head to the clothing department and then on to the housewares and finally the snackies!! I grabbed a bunch of merch and was happy with my haul. The lines for the famous Buc-cee's brisket and beef jerky were nuts! I didn't know where the lines started for those, so I opted to skip out since I've already had the brisket a few times during my travels to Texas. I did manage to grab one of their Brisket Mac and Cheese and a Banana Pudding. After about an hour and a half of wandering through the store, I fell in line to pay for my merch. It wasn't bad. I waited about 10 minutes before I poad for my haul. Look, idk how it happened but I spent a bit over $300!! LOL Call me crazy, but I'm a fan!! The Brisket Mac is a definite MUST TRY! Look for it on the bottom shelf near the fresh beef jerky (which I have not yet had, but intend to very soon)! The Banana Pudding is okay, but you know who has the BEST pudding... hehe! I'm glad that I didn't get trampled on, no fights broke out, and that everything went pretty smooth during my first visit to Buc-cee's in Arizona! I was disappointed when I saw people leaving their drink cuos on shelves throughout the store. That is so rude, especially when you know the place is brand new!! Ughhh!! Keep it clean, people!! Yay Buc-ees has finally made it's way out west to Arizona! This is the 3rd location I've visited and so happy we got one here. We stopped by yesterday which made it one full week after the grand opening. We arrived at 2pm and there was a 15 min wait outside to get in. There was a friendly security guard standing at the door letting people out and in. We were a party of 8 and we all went inside once it became our turn. Once inside, it was CHAOTIC. It was super busy and there was people everywhere. We all wanted "hot foods" so we stood in line. This line was about 45 min long but it felt like it moved quick. There was workers everywhere and a lot of items were sold out. We managed to get some merch, food, snacks, and desserts. Bathrooms were clean and the workers were friendly. So much fun! *If you hate crowds, do not visit yet. read more

It was our first time there 10 days after the opening. The staff is doing a great job keeping the store stocked and clean during a 24x7 rush. Kudos to them!! Shelves are getting restocked and from my pics you will see lots of stock. There were some empty shelves but 85% stocked. Pricing varies but we thought it was reasonable compared to other places that carry this sort of stuff. Food was out and coming out they had the lines moving fast and people were nor being impatient but nice to each other. We tried the beaver chips, fudge, brisket sandwich and pulled pork. They make the portions worth the price. I liked their other leisure selections like venison sausage. We will go back with a plan now that we know what's there....probably closer to the holidays. We decided to swing over to Buc-ee's after a wedding because why not! Even towards the end of their first week open it was a good time! We appreciate how spacious the parking lot and gas pump area was and the lines to get in were organized and simple. The managers came out to inform us 45mins prior to the side door closing that, that would happen which was nice to gauge if we should stay in line or move to the main entrance line. We stayed and only waited a total of like 38mins. Everyone was super friendly and nice upon entering and during our hour long stay inside. It was pure organizational chaos but in a good way and honestly for it being 1am it was great lol! I got my brisket sandwich (however I will always feel like the pork is better) but we did enjoy the peppered jerky and banana pudding. Also the beaver chips are delish and just as good in AZ as in TX! The best call out is the dress I got! I got a denim dress for $32... which is literally $65 for the same one at boot barn! This place was so chaotic! I did go there during opening week but I probably won't be back for a while unless I'm road tripping if I'm being 100% honest. I had no idea the brisket sandwich was so popular and I waited over 45 mins in a line that really didn't even go to the hot bar. Come to find out there really wasn't a line people were just all over the place. I do think they could have did a better job of managing the crowds since they know the brisket sandwich is popular. I do think the convenience for a gas station is very nice- lots of to-go food options you can see being made right in front of your eyes! However, prices are a little high like $14 for the brisket sandwich and $4 for a puddling cup but I get you are paying for a gas station. The checkout is very smooth as they have a checkout counter at all exits. I did not know this until I watched a YouTube video as there could have been better signage throughout the store. read more

The craziness! More like a tourist attraction right now. It might be a little less chaos in a few months. Stood in line for about 30 minutes to choose some brisket but it was a fun experience. Also tried the breakfast burrito with brisket and egg. We also grabbed some snacks like the white cheddar beaver nug-ees and pork rinds. There is nowhere to sit which is part of their thing but in Arizona it's unbearable to eat in the car unless you turn on the AC super high. We ended up paying and walking back inside to eat. Overall. We drove up from Tucson at 7 am and arrived at 9 am, 7/3. At that time was busy, but no line to get in. The bakery line was slow, but selection was good. Service was great. Same for the fudge line. BBQ was long line, but moved quick. No xxl sandwich or sliced brisket until after 10:30. Honestly, compared to QT, the sandwich I ate was about same. Phoenix area local BBQ and Rudy's are all WAY better than this. The Walls of Jerky were well stocked. No Sugar Bohemian Garlic is the best! Be warned, it will be really busy! But really great! Bring a good attitude and some patience, and please just pay attention while driving. If you're someone that doesn't want to deal with the traffic, large groups of people in mass, and hype of a grand opening I would wait to go. Normally I would fall into that description actually, and I usually wait until new places level off and calm down, but I had some spare time and patience to spare, plus the curiosity to check out the madness of a new Buc-ee's intrigued me. The new Buc-ee's location just opened up in Goodyear on 6/22 to the general public, first one in Arizona! Woo hoo for that. I've been to locations in Texas and Colorado. This will definitely be where I stop on road trips to Cali, well once the hype dies down and it's not a major effort to go. I didn't plan to check it out so soon, I went on Tuesday 6/23, day after the grand opening. It just worked out that I had some time to kill. And time you will need. I left my house near Mesa Riverview around 11am, and I didn't get home until close to 3 pm. The map said it would take 25 minutes to get there (that's non traffic mind you), but be warned the map isn't accounting for the city's traffic control plan. Right now the only "correct" way to access it, is exit from the 10 fwy to Bullard and you'll have to follow the route they have placed that takes you all the way down to the ball park and circles you around, back up Bullard Ave. it's definitely out of the way and meant to spread out the flow of cars. All traffic is blocked from any other directions. And I heard it was really bad opening day. Was a bit better day 2 during the time I was there. And I messed it up by exiting before Bullard, on Litchfield Rd and trying to go over. It didn't work, so I had to get on the correct route and circle around twice. I didn't know ahead of time about the street closures. So really, for me, the most time and effort it took was simply getting there. Thank god I was in the AC car, it was hot outside! Once I was in the parking lot it got much better and I could start to enjoy the experience. I pulled up to an open gas pump immediately, I mean there's so many of them! Then I parked in the massive lot, and walked right in. Once inside it was a bit of chaos again with so many people who clearly were having their first Buc-ee's experience trying to navigate it all. And there were large groups of people. It was like being at a busy amusement park or concert but with lots of beavers. I spent the majority of my time just leisurely watching people and checking out the items. I was in no rush since I had put in the effort to go. I chatted with staff working who were all very nice, given how busy it was, and they said yesterday was a literal madhouse. Glad I skipped that! One thing I observed is that lines forming but unclear if it was moving or needed. So just check before you cue up if something makes sense to stand in line. There was a wrap around line for the brisket counter that didn't really move because it wasn't a line up situation, people could walk up and grab a sandwich, but others were standing there waiting for certain items. **Recent update: looks like the store did clearly indicate a line up area around the brisket counter with a blue roped off area, so now it might be more organized and clear where to stand, line up, and get items from. I saw this in someone's video so I'm not sure how long it will be set up like that, but it looked helpful. Staff were friendly and the other customers there were mostly nice that I encountered. Some looked down right stressed. Others had no clue what was happening and deer in the headlights look lol. I enjoyed my time there, and found plenty of pockets of space. I also got myself another shirt, as I do when visiting Buc-ee's. For me, I was solo and I could move around the store pretty easily. So I did that. Checked out all the food sections, the bathroom (of course!), and the merch areas. I tried new things I haven't had before that are popular like the beaver nuggets, turkey club sando, and brisket Mac. What I will say about Buc-ee's food is that some stuff I really like and others items are meh, but it's definitely better than any other gas station out there and priced well. I really liked the turkey sandwich, better than I expected. It's the kind of junk food I'm just having every once in a while so I could go wild, which I did, to bring home! :) I also really liked the cheesesteak burrito but only after I took it home and heated in toaster oven to crisp it up, wouldn't have been as good there because it was too soft and cooled down. Honestly, I say this about every Buc-ee's I've reviewed... on paper I should hate this place but somehow I don't hate it. I wouldn't want to come here regularly but it's a fun place to visit when you're passing by one and to experience. YESSSSSS! I have been stopping by Buc-ee's near Austin with every trip to Texas. No, it's not just a gas station! It's an experience, sort of like Stuckey's used to be. No big rigs, just passenger vehicles. After flying in to Austin, we still have another 2 hours on the road. So we stop by Buc-ee's and load up on snacks to make it on down the road. Our favorites are the BBQ sandwiches and Kolaches. Really, what they call a Kolache are really pigs-in-the-blanket. Or as the Czechs call them, Klobasnek. Whatever you call them, they are delicious and hard to find in Arizona until now! They are only sold in the AM so get there early! In addition to every sort of hot sandwich, there are vegetable trays, desserts and snacks galore. You just have to see it all to get it. And lots of merch! House curios and of course Buc-ee's gifts as far as the eye can see! We were at this location the first week it opened. That is the largest crowd I've ever navigated. I don't know how they all kept up. Oh yeah, they do have reasonably priced gas as well at any of their 120 pumps. Yep, you just have to experience it yourself! Visited Buc-ee's in Goodyear during opening week, and I was honestly surprised by how incredibly organized everything was despite the crowds being beyond belief. The employees were friendly, polite, and working hard to keep things running smoothly. There was plenty of police presence helping with traffic and safety, and the store was well-stocked overall, even though some merchandise was understandably selling out quickly each day. As for the food--wow. The brisket sandwich was a solid 10/10. Buc-ee's chips were another 10/10, and the Beaver Nuggets were a 9/10. The fresh jerky bar was outstanding, and the packaged jerky selection was just as impressive. I'm absolutely in love with the Steakhouse Jerky and the Lemon Pepper Jerky--both are must-tries. Opening week at a brand-new location could have been chaotic, but Buc-ee's exceeded expectations. We will definitely be back! read more

I'm a seasoned Buc-ee's girl, as I've now been to my fourth, & I love it even more each time. The CLEANEST restrooms on the planet, 120 gas pumps so waiting to fill up your ride, the best selection of snacks & treats, most awesome brisket sandwiches, the tastiest fudge around, the coolest souvenirs, an awesome mascot, & a wide variety of home decor make the drive here all worth the while. Not to mention the perfect stop en route to/from California, Goodyear will BENEFIT from having this location as well. Buc-ee's grand opening has been hyped on tv, social media, etc. I always had wanted to visit, but was never near one of their locations. When the Goodyear AZ location opened, I had to try it out. Needless to say, with dozens of gas pumps and a building the size of a big box store, the place is huge. The facility is brand new, so (almost) everything is neat and clean. I must say I expected large crowds, but what I found was ridiculous. It was so packed with people that I don't think I'll visit again for several months. The freeway exit required circling Goodyear, then circling the parking lot. Once a parking space was located and I entered the building, I found people packed like sardines, crowds around food stations with no designated lines and employees who had difficulty making their way through the crowd to restock items. It was a mad house! I was only able to make my way through about 1/3 of the building. It was so chaotic and hot inside that I had to grab a fraction of what I wanted, pay for them (long lines of course) and leave. The Orange Cranberry Muffin was top notch, though I found the Sausage and Cheese Kolache and Beaver Nuggets underwhelming. Luckily, prices were decent. Buc-ee's is known for having the cleanest restrooms in America. This was not my experience with toilet paper all over the floor. Good thing there was an attendant on duty and probably didn't get to that particular stall just yet. If the person who left their phone in the stall is reading this, I gave it to the restroom attendant to add to their lost and found. Buc-ee's has potential to be great, but I'll wait quite a while for the crowds to die down a bit. read more

My family and I visited this location on Wednesday, June 24th, around 8:00 PM during the grand opening week. As expected, the location was extremely busy, and while we were excited to visit, there were a few areas that could be improved to enhance the overall customer experience. The traffic detour leading to the location was hectic and added several minutes to our travel time. While there appeared to be a significant police presence in the area, there was very little direction being provided once vehicles entered and exited the parking lot. Better traffic management would have helped create a smoother flow for customers arriving and leaving. It took us approximately 20 minutes to find a parking space due to the large crowds. Once inside, we noticed the building felt quite warm. We understand there were many customers visiting during the grand opening, but it seemed as though the air conditioning may not have been operating at full capacity. The store itself was much larger than it appeared from the outside and offered a spacious layout with a wide variety of products. However, because of the large crowds, navigating certain areas became challenging. One of the biggest issues we encountered was confusion regarding the food service lines. Many customers were unsure where lines began and ended, which resulted in people unintentionally cutting ahead of others who had been waiting. It would be helpful if associates could better organize and monitor the lines, especially around the sandwich stations, to ensure a fair and orderly process. Our daughter wanted to try the famous cinnamon beef nuggets that she had heard about online. We also purchased the barbecue beef brisket sandwiches. The sandwiches were freshly made, flavorful, and generously portioned. While they were very good, I personally felt that the $9 price point was slightly high and would have been more reasonable at around $7. We also visited the fudge station, which was one of the highlights of our visit. It was enjoyable watching the fudge being made and seeing the large variety of flavors available. Customers could sample different flavors before purchasing, and there was a great promotion where purchasing four pieces of fudge earned two additional pieces free. At $3.99 per piece, we were able to get six pieces for approximately $17, which was a good value. Unfortunately, the turkey breast sandwiches had sold out by the time we arrived, which disappointed many customers who were looking for alternatives to beef options. After purchasing our sandwiches and a few additional items, we decided to check out and leave, as the parking lot and store remained extremely crowded and somewhat chaotic. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and appreciated the fresh food, fudge selections, and spacious store layout. Given that it was grand opening week, some of the challenges were understandable. I hope that in the coming weeks and months, improvements will be made regarding traffic flow, parking lot management, temperature control inside the building, and organization of food service lines. With better crowd management, this location has the potential to provide an even better experience for customers. For four barbecue beef brisket sandwiches an order of fudge and Beaver nuggets added up to the total of $62 so be prepared for the amount of money you will spend in the store. First time visiting. I wanted to try the fudge and the brisket. I was able to try the brisket, but the lines were crazy and I didn't get any fudge. We came on Friday, 7/3/26 and it was busy. We had to park in a dirt lot to the side. We did xxl brisket sandwiches, pulled pork, and a three meat. We had the Cinnamon rolls (do not recommend). Also got Some of the candied nuts (delicious!). Also, got to try the beaver nuggets (interesting) and i got 2 shirts, and some cherry jerky. As far as the quality of the food and the selection of items, great! Save yourself the trip and wait until the brand newness hype wears off at this AZ location! They have a ton of the roads blocked off to even enter the Buc-ee's parking lot. Once you arrive it is similar to a Black Friday shopping experience-empty spaces on shelves and long checkout lines! I even witnessed an employee trying to restock Buc-ee's themed merchandise and people were grabbing items as soon as it hit the shelves. Hopefully it becomes more like the Texas locations in the future where you can actually stop for gas and purchase road trip snacks without having to wait in a checkout line for an hour. read more

Came to see the craziness. Came by in a Friday afternoon and there were lines of people in both sides of the building waiting to go in. So we did not stop by. Then we came back on a Sunday morning at 4:30 and it was nice and empty but the beaver nuggets, brisket, taco,candied pralines, jerky, we tried the peppered jerky, lemon pepper, Korean barbecue, maple. Out of those, we only like the maple. Also purchased the milk chocolate cashews. They were nothing special. Also bought the gun drop looking sour candies. Those are good you like sour candies and they're kind of mushy after you bite them like jellybeans. At 5 AM people started coming in and started getting a little packed. This was my first trip to the Arizona store, but I have been to several Buc-ee's around the country. The best part of this trip was bringing my family who had never been to a Buc-ee's before. They had so much fun picking out America 250 items, gifts for friends, and some brisket. We stayed for a piece of fudge and used the fountain drink wall to bring on the road trip home. I got coffee! But there are a bunch of drinks that are Buc-ee's own brand. We had fun people watching, as other people did what we did, shopped and found all sorts of great items for themselves and others. We found and bought some clothing attire too. And that was a nice bonus. This is a stop I'll make frequently as they always have something new for my friends, I love their kitchen section the best. Oh and we are going to make a gift basket later this year, the prices are totally reasonable so we can really fill it up. I'm glad I can visit in my own state now. My oh my the bbq here though is out of this world! Don't skip on the brisket burrito oh my gosh! I got the pulled brisket sandwich and my husband got the brisket burrito and the burrito was definitely the winner!!!! don't forget your bag of beaver nuggets delicious! Despite the crowds, everything was well organized, the staff kept things moving, and the bathrooms were absolutely immaculate. The gas was only $3.53 per gallon, which was a great bonus. The food was fresh, and the three-meat sandwich was hands down my favorite--1000/10! The fountain drinks, Nug-ees, and chips were all delicious too. I even picked up the cutest pink Buc-ee's shirts. Overall, this is a fantastic stop whether you're passing through Arizona or heading to Sedona. Clean, friendly, well-stocked, and definitely worth the visit. We finally have one! Went opening day and was surprised how easy it was to visit. I know there's been some lines but traffic is handled well. This location is busy since opening so do expect things to be gone or lines but it's worth it. Grabbed a chopped brisket sandwich that was delicious. YAY 5 starts for BUC-EES and a huge wlcome to AZ. This was my first visit to any location and I had alot of fun. Its still very busy but worth the stop. My fave: Club melt, chopped brisket, jerky, and beaver nuggets. read more

Came from the East Valley their first weekend open, and it was a bit of a mess all around. Once you get off I-10 brace yourself for a 15-20 minute detour around Glendale by the Ballpark, which we were not preaching for- traffic was backed up and it was a bit stressful. Once we made it in there was another line to get in which moved pretty quickly. Once you get inside there is yet another line for the phone this one also moved pretty quickly. They were dishing out fresh brisket sandwiches, turkey sandwiches and chicken. Plenty of stock around the store, but as pictured things were a bit disheveled with boxes strawn about. The guys making all the BBQ meats in middle of store and putting out fresh brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were energetic and helpful and not even fazed by the insane crowd for opening day! Nice bathrooms. Fast check out, lots of gas pumps available and not a bad price at the pump for their opening! The food was amazing (although you will pay for it $15 brisket bbq sandwich). I do plan to go back and expand my review after checking out all their merch and home goods etc! But the bakery had at least 2 delicious items (cinnamon roll pull apart and a paddle tail-cinnamon swirl large flat flaky pastry with icing). I want another now! read more

This place is an experience. Lots to see and buy! We lucked out and came when there wasn't a line out the door even though, by the time we left, there was. The chopped brisket sandwich was so tender, a generous portion, and delicious with barbecue sauce already mixed in (which they sell separately in bottles). The extra large fountain drinks are only 99 cents. They have pre-packed beef jerky as well as a deli style area where you can try each flavor, mix and match, and buy them in your desired quantity. The kettle cooked jalapeño Buc-ee's chips were flavorless but had a good crunch to them. Everyone said to get the Beaver Nuggets, which we got but haven't yet tried. There were a lot of flies buzzing around inside and a good amount of trash on the floor, but they were incredibly busy. Ralph at the beef jerky counter was so friendly and patient as we sampled each flavor. Other employees also were eager to help us and share their recommendations for what to buy. One even came up to us and said that we could eat our sandwiches while shopping and just bring the wrapper to checkout. read more

Amazing!!! Total hype, but total fun!! Anything you could possibly want, from dry goods to hot food, to candy, fudge, toys, clothing, barbecue gifts and the list goes on and on and on. Was there for opening day, and it did not disappoint!!! The friendliest, most upbeat staff I have ever seen, and there are hundred of them on every shift. Largest, cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen. And a staff person in there 24/seven cleaning. read more

Visited this Buc-ee's this morning. Gas was 10 cents more than gas at Sam's Club in Tempe. $3.59 for 87 octane regular. Pump 243 did not have any receipt paper in it. Not sure how often they check these but this morning I got no receipt. Inside is huge. Bathrooms clean, locking stalls, hand sanitizer available in the stall which is great. Store was crowded so didn't get in any lines to buy anything. Quite a collection of people in there so hanging around people watching could have been rewarding on a number of levels. Good day my yelpers, So let's get this started with why I rated Buc-ees a 3 star rating on opening day 6/22 We live 10 minutes away from the massive, famous, beaver loving gas station that everyone so ever talks about. Driving there 7/10 enjoyable with friends and family while listening to music. Yes! is the loop around to get to buc-ees annoying ? yes, but it ensures that everyone has a fair chance to see the place. Parking 10/10 there are plenty or spaces with people constantly coming in and out. Inside 5/10, unable to walk around, it was too hot inside, and we couldn't see everything and only experienced half of the store because of how over crowded it was. Food this where I'm extremely disappointed. 2/10 Brisket and pulled pork are supposed to taste smoky packed with flavors. Driving into Buc-ees you are absolutely not welcomed into that smokey smell from the meat and brisket smoking. The brisket tasted like chemicals, that usually happens when the wood is burning faster than the cooking process and or not being smoked properly and yes I get it .. it was extremely busy and you're just trying to get the brisket out of the smoker or whatever process y'all use but come-on. Pulled pork sandwich 6/10 brisket sandwich 0/10 and too fatty! The value and overall experience was a 6/10 the prices were reasonable for what we got 2 shirts, beaver plush, nuggets, soda, tea, cinnamon pull apart, and 2 sandwiches all under $105. We might try going this weekend if it's not crazy. Hopefully the meat taste better! read more
