We have previously visited several in Texas and one 40 miles north of Denver. People who dismiss it as just a gas station have clearly never been to one. 120 gas pumps, cleanest restrooms on the road, plenty of brisket sandwiches, a wall of jerky, tons of soft drinks, coffee, and tea. All of this inside a space with housewares, clothing, hunting and camping, toys, etc. It was really fun to see the looks on the faces of people who had never been to a Buc-ee's before, including our own family members. It is a lot to take in. We loaded up on sandwiches, fudge, jerky, nuggets, drinks, and a very patriotic hot/cold drink tumbler for my wife. We spent more than we planned on, but the prices are excellent, so all in all, we didn't spend too much. Made a list of ideas for friends and family, so we'll be back to gift shop for them soon.
