Actually my first visit to this Texas City location! I've had more opportunities than I can count to stop but always said "next time" or "we'll stop at the Waller, or Katy location". You know how that is. I rarely have an issue with any location and that can be said here. That crazy little beaver can do no wrong in my book (ok well, almost no wrong). Great selection. Great options for food, snacks, gifts, beaver stuff, drinks, and so on. Great service. Great fun.

What can I say it's a great place! Great food and the employees were super friendly and chatty! The bathrooms were nice and clean and the entire rest stop was as well! Buc-ee himself was a delight to see as always !

This is a very impressive Buc-ee's. It's large, easy access from I-45, has lots of food and beverage options, a variety of merchandise, clean restrooms and nice customer service, too. There are plenty of gas stations and also a Tesla Supercharger at this location. We stopped in on our way south to Galveston and enjoyed shopping here. Highly recommend if you need a stop between Houston and Galveston.

Buc-ee's has been on my bucket list forever! So being able to stop here on our way to the cruise port was a dream come true! I watched many of YouTube's before our trip but none did this store any justice! I truly felt like a kid in a candy store, there is something for everyONE! Buc-cee's is the business. I first wandered into Buc-cee's back in June of 2021. It was an experience to be had! Coming from California, I had never heard of it before, but its trademark bucktooth beaver on every Texas freeway billboard told me I needed to stop in, so I did. I believe it was the location in Katy, on my way back to Houston from visiting my bestie from 2nd grade (she lives in San Antonio). That was a BIG Buc-cee's, and this location in Texas City reminded me of the joys I had back in Katy. The "glorified rest stop," as my bestie described it, is still such a jolly place to be. I can't believe it has everything you could possibly want/need. Whether it be for gift giving, running in for some snackies and drinks for a road trip, or just simply going in to treat yourself to whatever, Buccees has it all. On this particular visit, I picked up a bunch of Buc-cee's branded merch including 4 shirts for myself, some souvenirs for family, and a delicious Club Melt. I also couldn't leave without a piece of their famous fudge! Blueberry Cheesecake please!! This store location is pretty damn big, but I heard there are other locations even bigger! I'll have to go to one of those one day, ans you better believe I'll go buck wild again, lol! Special thanks to my Houston Elite Bestie Justin T. for taking me here as my last stop daring my weekend trip to Houston. I love Buc-cee's and if you don't, we can't be friends, haha!! Buc-cee's, I shall return! ;)

First time at a Buc-ee's, ever! What an experience. It is a gas station, truck stop, department store with fresh and hot meals you grab and go! I'm still in awe of how huge Buc-ee's is. It literally has everything you'll need for any road trip plus more. It's super clean and organized. I was drawn to their food section! Brisket sandwiches, chicken fingers with fries, large sodas for $1.19! They have baked goods, candied nuts, snack and a huge variety of jerky! They also have home decor, clothing and camping items. What a vibe. I got their chicken fingers and fries for lunch and it was amazing. Fries are lightly battered giving it a crispy outside and tender inside! Chicken tenders were fried nicely. I'd get it again but maybe add a brisket sandwich the locals keep recommending. I hope to check out more Buc-ee's!

Always a must stop! I always come for a large fountain drink and road snacks. This time I was visiting a friend in another state so had to come get some buc-ee's gear and a gift bag.

Brisket is no longer good here, unless you want to eat connective tissue and fat. They are cheaping out yall, don't count on it being good anymore.

Holy Beaver! Best place to make a pit stop to Galveston. It has super clean restrooms and plenty stalls to choose from. If you need to fill up your car gas prices are cheaper than anything in the area. Also, make sure you stop inside to any souvenirs or even stop to get snacks for the rest of the trip. I totally recommend getting the BBQ sandwiches that are made everyday. Always a great place to stop at! read more

She looked at me, puzzled and told me "sir, I don't know, that's something I would need to find out " out and begins to walk away. Before she can completely leave I asked her well can you find out? This place is just ok. It's ok if you are going to the beach on a Saturday to make a pit stop as the bathrooms are clean. However ordering food is rather confusing plus the food itself is not that great. My wrap had a bit too much mayo. read more

customers beware!! credit card thefts happen often here. my son and daughter in law have had their credit cards stolen twice. happens at the gas pumps, so there must be card readers on the pumps. the manager could care less, on dismissed the incidents with an additude. so pay with cash or pump elsewhere. don't be a victim. read more

Great breakfast before a fishing trip. Best price on ice. Was going to fill boat with non eoh gas but couldn't get any from pump ??? Don't know if out or just not filled tanks yet. They have like 4 bays advertising no eoh though and pumps say same. read more

I love buccees but really sad they stopped serving the chocolate pudding. A little pricy on most things. If you're headed to beach it's the best place to stop on the way. Open 24 hrs helps too, it's random but who actually likes beaver nuggets? read more

It's Buc--ee's, how could you not give it 5 stars??? Clean bathrooms, great food, cheap gas. It's everything you could want in a gas station an oh so much more! I bought a onesie there yesterday for a friend of mine's kid and it was $12. Everything is priced so reasonably. I go out of my way to fill up here because it really is that great. read more

I would come in here daily for months and live walking distance away. I came in with a friend and his 16 year old little brother. They would not allow me to purchase a 6 pack of beer because he was with us. I left and returned 10 minutes later by myself and they would not allow me to purchase beer. I spoke with the manager and he stated that it is a state law that I cannot be accompanied by a minor when purchasing beer even if it was family and I could not return the rest of the day to purchase beer. It's absurd, what if I'm with my child? I've never experienced this before and it leaves a nasty taste in my mouth! I will not be returning read more

It's a mega-Buc-ee's, so you know it's good. We may have our family Christmas celebration here--it's got all the food and fudge and gifts you could want, plus an acre or so of other junk food--what's not to love? Seriously though, it's a great store--and for me it's on the way to work so it's a treat to stop about once a week for a gas fill up and a great cup of coffee and usually pick up a salad or other lunch treat. Always fresh, always clean. OH--and the baby clothes! Cutest ever--makes me want to find a baby and dress it before giving it back, since we don't have one to buy clothes for! read more

We love Buc-ee's!!! Cheap ice, cheap gas. Bathroom is always clean. Coffee is awesome with several choices for creamers. Cold beer, barbecue and kolaches are all great. Also one of the cheapest prices around on cigarettes. read more

If you're from Texas are traveling Texas Buc ee's is the place you want to stop at. All their locations have the cleanest restrooms you will find anywhere. Buc ee's has a great model for all their stores. You will be treated just that's nice at one as you will at the others. The cleanliness of all the locations is impeccable. Some of my favorite items to pick up are beaver nuggets and the beef jerky. They also have a wide selection of gifts and souvenirs to take back home. read more

Buccees is the shit. Everyone who has ever traveled south of Dallas and not stopped at one is missing out. They have candy,barbecue, cheap beer and smokes, cheap gas and loads of other stuff. Always stop when you see a buccees. read more

As always, Bucees delivers clean bathrooms, all the food and all the random things you didn't know you needed. Stopped here in and out of Galveston this weekend. Gas prices were reasonable but surprisingly higher than the places on the Seawall. I also picked up a Rhino "Taco", it was amazing. The green chilies were spicy and super delicious with the creamy beans. Definitely would order again. read more

There's not much bad I can say about Buc-ees. After a drive from Austin and an hour of pointless Houston traffic, this location is a welcome sight for bathroom breaks and a quick stretch before the last leg of the trip to Galveston. read more

Buccee's is AMAZING they always have the CLEANEST bathrooms making them the best place to make a pit stop! I stop In at least once a week for gasoline, a breakfast taco and a coffee. The tacos are huge and made fresh. The staff is fast and courteous. Their prices are high but their gasoline is generally priced lower than stations in the area. What ever snack you want they have it. I love their beef jerky selection. read more

Everytime I go to Galveston I always stop by here on the way home. I love this place! It has everything and more and their brisket sandwich is so good! I've been to this Buc-ees a few times. It's nice and clean inside. I love their beaver nuggets. They sell a lot of cool things and it's good if you travel a lot because you can stop here and get everything all at once and not have to stop two or three times for something. I always have issues every month with CVS. I didn't have not one issue with this lady who didn't even have an account with me to fill a prescription that is so important for me to live. Buc-ee's!!!!!If anyone has ever heard of buc-ee's well you know how wonderful this store is. The bathrooms are the best anywhere. This has been the only place I have filled up with gas since they opened. It is always priced below the stations around Texas city or Galveston county. This store is a must if you are not from the south/Sw area of Texas. You will find the most unique gifts for friends, family or yourself. Be prepared to speed at least an hour "stretching" your legs. This is the same Bucees that won't release video evidence to a innocent man who was unlawfully arrested.. while putting gas. They will release evidence to police and government agencies for free with no problem.. but charge people who need it the most.. At 12:03, I completed my transaction at Carla's register by purchasing a bag of ice. In order to retain proof of purchase, I kindly requested the receipt, which she promptly placed inside the bag before suggesting I retrieve it if necessary. I love coming to Buc-ee's, their food is awesome. Their gas prices are low. The Selection of food is fascinating. The staff are friendly and always smiling. My wife and kids love coming to Buc-ee's for their assortment of clothing and items. If you've never gone to Buc-ee's I definitely recommend going!! read more
