groceries are too expensive to have simpletons sacking the groceries up. i just bought $9.35 worth of black grapes and.christina j put them in the same bag with 4 1/2 pounds of envy apples and crushed them all. heb has a responsibility to hire smarter, cashiers or train them better, if neither one of those is possible they need to allow customers to bag up their own groceries.

I love this H‑E‑B location but for some reason they absolutely had nothing that was on my list. But I did purchase their gas because I was low. Not a wasted trip. I'm a good eye shopper

Newish and clean HEB location with plenty of parking. The interior layout is the same as the Bunker Hill location but the store is slightly smaller. The meat selection seems a bit lacking especially in the beef department but everything else is there.

H‑E‑B means so much to our community and to my family. I always shop at an H-E-B before any other store. Recently, we had a big shopping trip to help fill the pantry for a charitable organization that I am involved with. We filled four big baskets of groceries and necessities. Check out was smooth as could be first purchasing that many items the Cashier Angel was just an angel! The bagger, Jose did not flinch one time at the tons of items we threw at him! They have plenty of backyard items, some home items, including dresses, and flip-flops. I did not buy a dress this time but I am seriously considering it. They have security who patrols the parking lot and zips around on a Segway style scooter. Here, Everything is Better!

Best HEB in the area. Spacious parking lot, fantastic curbside pickup, and enjoyable to shop in especially when it's not busy!

H-E-B is one of my favorite stores, some items are a bit pricey but it's by first choice to go to grocery shop.

Does the El Dorado location have apple pay?

I don't think they do, the tap doesn't work from what I remember. Hope this helps!

The aisles were close together, but groceries weren't easy to be found. I had to search high and low to locate things on my list due to the organization of the store and I'm so used to shopping at the location in Friendswood. The store prices were pricier than the location in Friendswood. I didn't care for that. The Asian/International aisle was popping because they had everything under the sun for spring roll preparations. I found my Maggi sauce, sweet soy sauce, and canned bean sprouts. However, when it came time to check out; there was a line from the front of the store to the bakery aisle for the self-checkout. There was long lines for the regular lines. It was only three workers holding down the whole store. Now, that's ridiculous. I met with this very kind self-checkout employee. She was very sweet and helped me clean the self-checkout kiosk since it wasn't ringing up my items properly and kept giving me issues each time I scanned my groceries. After this experience, I'll be avoiding this location like the plague.

It's usually frequented by seniors, which creates a calm atmosphere. The staff is consistently friendly, and the selection--especially in the frozen section--is impressive. Everything is spotless, and the produce and meat are always fresh and well-maintained. I often find great deals on clearance meat, which I can't resist; it still looks fresh, unlike clearance items at other stores that can appear discolored and unsafe. Be sure to download the app and clip digital coupons, as it can save you a lot. I find Kroger to be cheaper than most stores. Lastly, the Sushi is made right in store and Wednesday is 5-dollar sushi. I like the sushi here more than HEB although the selection is less here

They even sell bulk items such as nuts, flour, nutritional yeast, dried fruit, natural detergent, oils, loose-leaf teas, etc. Some are made in-house, including vegan hot chocolate mix. I like getting my seasonings and spices here, opposed to the grocery store, because it is very fresh and hasn't been sitting out for years upon years on end. There aren't a lot of raw vegan restaurants down south of 45, but surprise, surprise, Natural Living has raw vegan onsite. I've only eaten there twice, and due to the limited hours throughout the week. I am only able to get down here on the weekends in the morning. I frequent Nokturne more as a vegan restaurant in CL, just due to the simple fact of the flexibility of hours. At Natural Living, I ordered the taco salad; it was vegan meat crumbles and veggies. There were more veggies than meat. A limited amount of dressing to lather the veggies, so it made the salad a bit dry, but tasty. I loved the peanut butter cookies on sale. They were my favorite. I love that they have a food fair program for organic fruits/vegetables from local gardeners. I'm not a big fan of organic anything as I feel that it is more of a marketing gimmick, but if others care about that, that's a perk. The program is very affordable. I've personally never tried it, but I always wanted to. The ambiance can be a bit off; the staff is sometimes nice, sometimes don't want to be bothered. The apothecary side of things system is just grab jars of what you want, and they weigh it, put it in baggies, and you pay for it. However, things can get complicated when there a multiple people on the apothecary side and there is nowhere to wait since the whole building is tight and small. Now the pricing; this establishment isn't the cheapest, but when you factor in the value of what you are purchasing with the quantity of goods, then you are getting a solid deal. They sell crystal jewelry, and parking is across the street. I always tell people I'm going to the apothecary, and when they Google it, they can't find it, so it is definitely a hidden gem. I would have given them 5 stars across the board, but with the very limited hours not good for the working class working between 8 am - 5 pm; they close at 6 pm, closed on Sundays and Mondays. I hate that, but I will continue to only come on Saturdays.

There's a sense of peace that comes over me when I walk in. Me and my husband enjoy sitting down for a bite to eat from the organic cafe. The food is amazing.
