I took a bite myself and realized the taste & texture was that of a regular cake. It was most definitely NOT a tres leches cake. I took the cake back to let them know I did not receive a tres leches cake. The employees were adamant that it was. They said it just wasn't moist because I didn't ask for it. Sorry, but a tres leches cake is a tres leches cake & anytime I've ordered one from different places I received what I asked for. I let them know I did not know I was supposed to let them know I wanted a moist tres leches cake and the person who took my order didn't mention at the time my order was placed. You'd think that would be something they'd let their customers know. They said they can't make the big cakes like their individual slices they sell because the milk from the cake would run out of the container. They did not offer a refund or to fix it. I know it's because they feel they sold me the correct thing and they did nothing wrong. I left the cake there and left. It sucked paying $40 for a cake and having a certain expectation just to be let down. I went to them because they are a small business, close to home, and because I've had their individual slices of tres leches cake and it was good.

You know when the Sweet Potato Fries are nicely crisp and holds up, then it's all good! The vegan burger was mediocre but filling. Would go down well if it was charbroiled. The hubby had the Fried Chicken Salad. Understand, we are two different people, so our palate food is totally different. With that being said, he felt the salad or chicken needed some more flavor or seasoning as well as the salad needed to be a little more hearty. Last but not least was the Peanut Butter Cookies. So delicious that I can imagine how amazingly delicious they would be if they were hot! To be fair, we'll be back for some more delicious food. Later Gator!
