The food is very good, but get there early because they sell out fast on the weekend. The value for the price is also good.

Small little Kolache shop in Danbury, TX. They have the old fashioned style, which are amazing. I like to stop whenever I'm in there area for breakfast! It's a nice treat to bring to coworkers or a friend. They taste delicious, made fresh every morning, and even have those sweetie cookies with the glaze. Do you ever watch those picturesque, idealistic Hallmark Channel movies with the small town bake shops with the friendly staff and great food that keeps people coming back for more? I think those are based on this place! I came here based off the Texas Kolache Trail website and was not disappointed at all - first things first, the staff here are the nicest people on the planet. I felt like I walked into the home of a long time friend; they were great to chat with and kept checking up to see if I was enjoying my food and if I had enough coffee. Now to the goods - the KOLACHES!! The bread here is superb; maybe the best I have had on a kolache ever. I tried a few fruit varieties as well as a sausage + cheese and all were amazing, you really can't go wrong. Do yourself a favor and get down here to support this small business and fill your tummy. We drove in from Houston on a Saturday morning and wow. We had the sausage and cheese, sausage, jalapeño and cheese, and cream cheese with blueberry kolaches. Definitely worth it. Service was great and staff wore masks as well as requiring all that came in to wear one too. read more

I love this place, and go almost every week with my brother before school for a jalapeno sausage and cheese kolache and a strawberry cream cheese kolache. Both are amazing. Everyone who works there is really nice, and it's just a very cute and cozy little shop to enjoy breakfast in. read more

This quaint and yummy kolache "shoppe and bakery" was recommended to me by a co-worker that lives nearby, and I had to strategically plan my visit due to its long distance from my home. That being said, the drive was definitely worth the effort! Pay close attention to their hours of operation which can also be found on their facebook page. I was warned that they sell out quickly due to their kolache's popularity. I ordered and recommend the following (based on tasting): boudin (!), ham and cheese, sausage, apricot, apple and lastly, a classic cheese kolache. The kolaches varied in price depending on the type. I was offered to dine in, but I declined and brought the kolaches home where they warmed up perfectly in my toaster oven a few hours later. I hope to be back again in the near future! read more

So if your looking for kolaches like your grandmother make this place is pretty darn close!! The sausage and cheese kolaches were outstanding, but that's not that hard to find if you look. What is hard to find are all of the fruit and cheese kolaches this place has great ones!! The price of everything was very reasonable. I will defiantly tell my family about this place. read more

As a self proclaimed FOODIE from the city, I was very disappointed in the heaviness of the Kolaches. I have had these for a while now, and I understand they have to hold up to the filling inside but found, these to be so heavy it was almost unedible. The boudin filling however was good but the bread completely took away from the experience. The shop itself is delightful, however the appearance was very deceiving to the experience. read more
