Whenever I am near a Bucee's I have to stop it's the one stop shop for everything, but my favorite things to stop and get are their food and gas. I go for the clean bathrooms lol. Stopped here on the way the Beaumont for some snacks. Employees were nice, greeted us as we walked in. I was early enough to catch the breakfast items but at the moment they didn't have what I wanted. Employee noticed I was standing by an empty spot and asked me if I needed help to which I said I was just waiting for a certain food item. He let me know that it looked like the food was ready, just that it was getting stickered. I was more than happy to wait anyways, but he popped back over in about a minute or so with the croissants I wanted and apologized for the wait. Super nice of him cause I'm pretty sure he went to go help another employee pack up those foods items so he could bring them out. Yall where has this place been all my life?! I have never seen or heard of this place. While in Houston visiting a friend, I saw this place while driving to the grocery store. I asked if it was like a Sam's club or costco because of the size. My friends all turned to me in disbelief because I had never seen a Buc-eee's lol. They immediately pulled over. Walking inside I was at awe that this was a gas station. IIt was a gas station, but a gas station with so much more to offer! I mean I walked around for a while and ended up buying a shot glass (i collect them) to commemorate the experience. Not only did I buy a shot glass, but I bought the best pulled pork sandwhich I've had in years. Even without any sauce it was juicy and flavorful. I actually didn't really care for the sauce. I even bought a Caesar salad (ok, I might have got carried away) and it was pretty darn good as well. Check out was quick and easy. Loved everything about the visit. This place is for real. Never have I seen such a big gas station, that was good bc there were so many cars at the pumps. If you are familiar with east coast down to Florida this is Sheetz plus wawa and a huge gift shop mixed into a Texas sized gas station. Never been to Texas till this weekend but it fulfilled the everything is bigger in Texas business. Service was really friendly too and they had bathrooms that actually were cubbies that were sealed, well stocked and cleaned. it is nice to go to a gas station and not have to hold the broken door shut, have no toilet paper, if be dirty etc so this is great. we got tons of candy and treats, they also have hot food and jerky if that appeals. Horrible experience at this buc-ee's Ordered fries from kiosk When I receive my fries, they were cold, so I spoke to the manager of that department with her name is Susan and she was very rude telling me the fries were fresh, which was a lie because they were stale and cold. So we went back-and-forth on the freshness of the fries and she was just rude throughout the whole conversation. I left to go check out and I spoke with another manager by the name of Cecelia and she didn't seem too concerned about my complaint she took it very lightly and didn't offer any resolution. Just pure joy. We stopped here on a long cross-country roadtrip and Buc-ee's did not disappoint. It is definitely overwhelming, but such an institution. I purchased a $9 sandwich at the Temple, TX store. I stopped by the Hillsboro location to exchange because the sandwich tasted like the turkey meat wasn't done. The girl at the counter Alyssa spoke to Robert the manager concerning exchange of the sandwich. Since I didn't purchase it from there, she refused to exchange. The exchange policy is ATROCIOUS with his company. You can't even file a legal complaint through the Better Business Bureau because they're not even accredited! This place is super duper cool! As a first timer, I have to say how incredibly overwhelming it is. I mean, you can get just about anything in this place, kinda reminds me of a mini Walmart. From clothes, to souvenirs, baked goods, hot food, beef jerky and freshly made fudge of just about every flavor imaginable, you can literally lose your mind. I bought two of the XXL beef brisket sandwiches and that's all. I wanted to get more but I always over indulge when I'm out shopping, so I decided to constrain myself this time. Yall really love this place and I just don't get it. I will say getting gas and going to the bathroom here feels safe at any time which is a huge plus over a smaller gas station/truck stop. Yes, I had to do. We did a cross country road trip last summer and when we went through Texas, we absolutely had to go to Buc-ee's. I think it's quite overwhelming, especially if you just stumble upon it. We stopped in because we needed a pit stop for fuel and ice. We started the day off here so we picked up breakfast, our souvenirs and snacks. Lots and lots of snacks to choose from and fresh food as well! The prices were actually pretty decent even for the souvenirs. I ended up buying a cup and a blanket. As for the food, we got beaver nuggets, beef jerky, nuts and some hot breakfast items. This was a large Buc-ee's but know that there are several Buc-ee's and they are not all created equal, try to go to the larger ones to get the full experience. We are traveling across the southern states and stop into these locations because they have super clean restrooms and plenty of store space to walk around and look at the merchandise. We finally decided to try the food and selected a sliced brisket sandwich and a bag of buc-ee chips. The sandwich had a good smoked flavor and it came with some barbecue sauce already on the sandwich. It had a lot of meat and the bun was fresh and soft. The brisket had a few spots of gristle, but all in all was satisfying and enough for my wife and I to share with a beverage and the chips. The small bag of chips was a bit pricey at $2.99 for a small bag, and they lacked salt, but were good for the size they sold. Super crowded inside. Review is mainly for the gas; no DEF at the pumps and the only time the pump stop failed and it kept pumping once tank was full. The Buccee's employee came out to look at it and was like "oh... ok". Never seen this before at any pump and they should get their diesel pump fixed. They don't honor their advertise prices they advertise one price, but then they charge you something else and when I brought it to the manager's attention that they weren't honoring their prices, he told me to deal with it. I pointed to the gas price sign is sitting outside with with the price written on it. And told the manager, I want the difference. How in the world have I not reviewed Bucees??? I love this place and I have a hard time passing one up. Bathrooms first and foremost are by far the best potty break experience. The drink station is quite extensive and the in-house food options are as good as a dine in restaurant. I purchased turkey barbecue sandwich , but unfortunately I couldn't enjoy it due to the way it prepared. I ask the young lady that was preparing the sandwiches can i have one with no sauce please due to a stomach condition that i have.. her reply was NO in a very snappy tone.Ok i then ask to speak with a Mgt that was on duty (Brittany) I explain the situation to her reply was NO we don't make special orders my reply was there nothing special about my sandwich just don't add the sauce.This was surprising given Buc-ee's usual high standards. I wanted to share this feedback so it can be addressed, I was disappointed with the response that was given this made my visit today less enjoyable..I deal with customers on a daily basis I definitely go above & beyond to make sure they are satisfied when they are supporting my company..In the future it would be nice to prepare the sandwich both way with or without sauce to give customer's an option Thank you for looking into this, and I'd appreciate a follow-up. read more

We were originally here just to charge our Tesla, but our family told us we had to go and check out the inside as well. Most advance gas station/ convenient store I've ever seen. They offer brisket and pulled pork sandwiches, which they prepare right in front of guests. To the side the have a full Beef Jerky section. If you like spicy, take the Ghost Peppered over the Hot and Spicy. The Bohemian Garlic was also pretty good.
