We stopped at the Brunswick Buc-ee's when the store was incredibly busy and chaotic, but Caleb was such a bright spot in all of it. He had great energy and was genuinely friendly and personable, and he made our checkout experience so enjoyable. What really stood out to me was how he took the time to engage with all three of my kids. He asked them if they were ready to go back to school and actually chatted with them rather than just rushing us through the line. They loved it, and he honestly made their day too. It's not often that someone makes that much of an impression during such a quick interaction, especially in a store that busy, but Caleb absolutely did. His positive attitude made the chaos a little more enjoyable for our whole family. I really hope the Brunswick management team sees this and gives him the recognition he deserves. Around the week of the Fourth of July each year, we drive from Pennsylvania to Florida for vacation, and to visit family. On the way down this year, we noticed this new Buc-ee's on the northbound side of the highway. It looked nearly completed, so I decided to get some more information on it. After looking it up online, we realized we were a few days too early and that it would be opening that next week. Luckily, it was open by the time our trip concluded so we stopped in about a week after they opened. We were excited to visit, as there was no Buc-ee's directly on our path of travel before this was built. I believe the land on and surrounding this Buc-ee's was previously undeveloped. They built up the exit, and there are some roundabouts that are required to actually get to the store. There is nothing else on the lot, so there is plenty of parking. We had no issue finding a spot. Considering it was brand new, it was not as crowded as I anticipated. We visited around 8 PM on a Wednesday in July. I have been to several different Buc-ee's locations, and comparatively speaking, this is a smaller location. However, it still has all of the essentials and amenities people come to except of this place - plenty of gas pumps, all of the brisket and meats, merchandise, and of course the bathrooms. I enjoyed looking around and seeing a brand-new location on this visit. There were several corporate employees helping to train the new staff, and it was enjoyable to speak with them and give my suggestions for products and varieties of items they already carry. Because of their presence, everything seemed to be running very efficiently and quickly - extra hands will help with that! They were also helpful in answering general questions and locating particular items. We picked up some merchandise and pre-packaged food to take back home for family and friends. Additionally, I was able to buy several magnets to continue with collections I have going. My cashier was friendly and kind. I enjoyed asking him about how the opening week was and what their volume of customers had been. He said that when we were there was really one of the first times, besides overnight, that they had not been extremely busy and full of customers! The prices here are comparable with any other Buc-ee's location. Some things are a great value, and some are more pricy. I always think the merchandise is very fairly priced. Some of the food items can be a little expensive, but it likely is due to them being meat-based. I think the majority of the convenience food items are priced fairly. Very glad that the timing of our trip worked out to be able to see this brand-new Buc-ee's location in Brunswick! As stated, this is now the sole location on our 900+ mile drive from Pittsburgh to North Central Florida. It will definitely serve a lot of travelers, including us, when we are passing through this area. Look forward to future visits! read more

This place is everything the hype has hyped about it! Soooooo much merch - Buc-ee's AND local merch to this store as well. The wall of jerky - I highly recommend this. Especially with the holidays right around the corner. Don't even get me started about the food - there must be 100 cows worth of brisket running through this place a day, and it doesn't stop there. Chicken sandwiches, fudge, fresh potato chips - and the cleanest restrooms I've ever see at a gas station. Make this a stop whenever you're traveling in the south - it's worth the trip! read more

It was a must to stop at Bu-cee's. I have never stopped in the morning before so I was slightly disappointed that there were only breakfast sandwiches out. I did though get a sausage egg cheese taco and it was a bit messy but delicious. $1.99 iced coffee couldn't go wrong with that. A breakfast under $7.00 was great. The inside was very clean. When we pulled off the highway to stop in this brand new Buc-ees on the way to Savannah, I told my girlfriend I'm "just gonna pop in quick to use the bathroom." 45 minutes later, I'm walking out down $93.76 from a brisket sandwich, chicken tenders and fries, jalapeño jerky, beaver chips, a t-shirt, 2 seasonings, a hot sauce, a tin of zyns, a Buc-ees lighter, and a stuffed Buc-ee Beaver toy for my nephew. I walked into the 74,000 square foot space and felt like I entered a parallel universe where gas stations are actually fun, ran with soul, and have squeaky clean bathrooms. I'd eat off these floors. You walk in and get a "Welcome to Buc-ees!" from an employee, and it was all uphill from there. It felt like Costco and Disneyland had a baby. The food is also phenomenal. You can see them cutting up the brisket, making fresh tortillas, and cooking up fudge and other sweets from scratch. I was so inspired. The brisket sandwich was so good that on the way back from Savannah, we stopped again and got another one. 2 Buc-ees trips in one day? Life is what it should be. It's Buc-ee's...what's not to love? Made a stop to get gas and shop on a Tuesday so it wasn't very busy (at least not weekend busy). Of course the restrooms are fantastic. They even have red and green lights over the doors so you can easily find an available stall. Although I did see one customer try two doors that were occupied before she found an unoccupied stall. They make it so easy to locate an available stall, but some people still make it hard. When we stop in, we always get a banana pudding because they are delicious! You must try if you go. I also love the "charcuterie in a cup" as I call it. We were on the way to the beach and I forgot my sunscreen. Did Buc-ee's have some? Of course! Grabbed that and my snacks and went to check out where Nisha helped us. She was great as all the employees I've encounter have been. I'm glad they pay the employees well as I'm sure that has something to do with the excellent customer service we received. I always enjoy a stop at Buc-cee's. I don't know why it feels like you've done something cool when you stop at a location that you've never been to before. Once you've been to a Buc-cee's, you know what they all have to offer, the only thing that seems to change are the workers and the state specific logo-ed items. When I arrived, the parking lot and gas pumps were nearly full. It was a bustling busy time and even still, I was able to get gas and get in and out of the store without losing more time than anticipated. We visited this location around 1am on a drive back to Jacksonville from Savannah. We wanted to stop and fill up the gas tank and get drinks. This location has it's own exit off the freeway, with no stop lights and only round-a-bouts to control traffic. Since it was the middle of the night, it was very calm and no delays with traffic, so I'm not sure how busy it gets. There are so many gas pumps, I think more than I've seen at any other location. The gas was cheaper than some of the other gas stations nearby. We were able to get some snacks and drinks inside. There were no lines, but the employees were all very nice. The store was very clean and as always the bathrooms were clean too. This was a great Buc-ees location. read more

So happy this location opened up in the coastal area. After leaving Jekyll and heading back north, this was a less than 20 minute drive from the beach to Buccee's. I went in a Friday evening, and it wasn't as busy as other buccees I've been to, I hope it stays this way but I know if it does get busy, there's plenty of staff, gas pumps, and space to accommodate! I appreciate the way they created the traffic flow to minimize back up, but I will admit that it's a little confusing! I left with the jerky and a hot sauce - always plan to spend at least $40 when walking into this massive space of all things indulgent. The place is always super packed, which can be overwhelming; but they always have tons of employees to get you in and out quickly. I don't have any photos to post this time because I was with my family and we were focused on ensuring that the grandkids did not suddenly runoff. Nevertheless, I like Buc-ee's. Coming originally from California, we would have truck stops in between cities near major interstates or highways but they were nothing like Buc-ee's. I like seeing the variety and selection of so many diverse products. It's also amazing to see them make fresh barbecue brisket and pulled pork sandwiches all day long. The chopped brisket sandwich is one of the best I've ever had. I've tried the sliced brisket sandwich as well, but I think the chopped one is definitely better. They also have great desserts. From the banana pudding to the warm peach cobbler, everything tastes great. My family also likes the selection of candies and beverages. Yes, they can be crowded and the lines can be long, but it always seems like the lines move quickly. So, anytime I'm near one, I definitely stop in to enjoy the Buc-ee's. experience. Dare I write a 3-star review for Buc-ee's?! I may be breaking cult rules here, but this is by far the worst Buc-ee's location I've been to (I've been to 5 including this location...two in TN, one in SC, and one in TX). We arrived at 00:32 and hardly anyone was here, which was nice! My first stop was to the restrooms. The first stall was dirty and the second was fine, definitely not what this chain is known for. Afterwards, it was time to get a magnet and grab a drink. This is a small location, so there are less items to choose from when it comes to souvenir shopping or looking for a specific bite to eat. I got a fountain drink, can't beat an XL soda for 99 cents! My husband got a large coffee. The coffee station was dirty. There was creamer outside of the refrigeration section, open sugars, used cups, stirrers, etc. on the counter. I was honestly shocked by the dirtiness of this Buc-ee's because they're well-known for being spotless. For not having a ton of customers here at that hour, I definitely expected for this location to be clean. read more

First time visiting any Buc-ee's location, and it was...interesting! I did not realize this location is still pretty new, and we went on a federal holiday - so the place was pretty packed! Even still, I managed to quickly get a pump to gas up at a fair price. After, we found a parking spot also pretty quickly and made our way inside, which was pretty much chaos! Organized chaos, perhaps? All the shouting and crowd was fairly overwhelming and overstimulating, so I would take headphones next time. Maybe there's a better way for employees to get their jobs done rather than screaming every other minute? Anyway, the facility was impressively clean, including the bathroom! My kid got to meet the beaver and enjoyed that, and I spent way too much on sandwiches, snacks, and coffee. The checkout was also super fast! As for the food and snacks, I highly recommend the beaver nuggets and the brisket sandwich. Both items really stood out as memorable, and I would get them again! The jerky, unfortunately, was overall a little too tough for my liking. Impressive variety, though, and the fudge and baked goods are hard to pass up as well. I went to the Brunswick, GA location. I found it a bit pricey, overcrowded, and several staff seemed irritated and noticeably didn't want to be bothered when questioned where to find something. This trip was my first time so I didn't know where to find water. I refilled my own bottle with water and bought a souvenir and noticed the receipt had an added charge for a drink refill, so I told the cashier. She also seemed irritated and she got the manager, who was rude. He refused to give a refund and said they charge for tap water. I asked him where was the sign stating that, since every other gas station and restaurant provides tap water with no charge. He still refused to give a refund and apparently put that $2 plus tax charge above keeping a customer. I don't know that it's even legal to charge for tap water and definitely not legal to charge tax on water. I ended up having to dispute the charge with my credit card company, so he was rude and did that for nothing. Anyway, I'm not saying I'll never go back to a Buc-ee's, but will say that I have no desire to go back. I checked online and other people have the same experience and many of their stores have an F rating with the BBB. read more

Inside you'll finds extensive array of fresh food options, including highly-regarded brisket sandwiches and its exceptionally clean and well-maintained restrooms. Very reasonable price for an example large size chef salad that has bacon, ham and hard boiled eggs for only $6.99, brisket sandwich $8.99. However, you have to eat inside your own car. Gas price also very cheap.$2.79 ($1 discount per gallon, when you purchase a car wash). I loved their candied nuts section with a variety of almonds, cashews and hot pecans! The store was clean, the staff was friendly, and the selection was unbelievable--snacks, drinks, gear, fresh food... you name it. We, of course, had to try the bbq sandwiches. We had the pulled pork and sliced brisket. Best bbq ever- no, but pretty damn solid- yep! (And it came with sauce on it, so you weren't scrounging around in the store to open it up and add your own). I had heard rave reviews about the jerky but didn't realize there was a jerky counter. Not realizing the counter, we grabbed the bags which were mediocre. Typical store-bought Jack Link type. I wish I would have known about the fresh jerky counter. What really surprised me were the prices. Everything was far more reasonable than a typical gas station, and in many cases actually cheaper. It felt like you were getting great value without the usual "travel stop markup." I'm officially a Buc-ee's fan. Highly recommend stopping if you're ever near one! read more

I went early in the morning and they were preparing breakfast. Is fast, and convienient grab and go food but keep in mind that it isnt that good quality. What's not to love? Always a great event visiting a new location. However, I just learned there is a no return policy unless you're exchanging for the exact same thing! That's really sad. This location seemed a little smaller than the others, but it was still clean and fully stocked with all of my favorite things, including the overbite, the barbecue pork sandwich, The pistachio bites. They do need to work on their regular coffee though! I've tried it twice and it was not edible. Come on Buc-ees step up! Also the croissant breakfast sandwich was terrible.
