I am a great fan of Buc-ee's way of doing business. All they do to create a fantastic atmosphere for travelers is right on point. The experience I had at this location was made less than expected compared to any other Buc-ee's I have visited. The cashier "Lessie" was rude and more interested in what was going on at the cash station next to her. She did not greet me with the usual friendliness, she literally tossed my purchase into a requested bag and I had to ask for a receipt. The cashier never looked at me during the entire transaction. Sad that someone with such poor customer service skills could represent such a fine org. read more

I love bucees and always have, however I saw them in a new light when a location opened next to where I live. I'm a frequent customer, also go here for gas and for the great car wash. It's a great place. I'm here on a daily basis, it's been a family spot and apart of our travels for years. However, now having become a regular, I've started to notice one thing that's very upsetting. The employees are talk down to and treated extremely disrespectfully. I find it highly unprofessional that it's even done in front of customers. I've notice several situations now involving a manager by the name of Teorrea. How this man speaks to his employees from what I've seen is highly unacceptable. I was there Friday morning to get a breakfast croissant. Teorrea and another possible manager come into the work station where the employees are working on the croissants. The female (possible) manager yells out "just to let everybody know all of first shift will be staying until 4 instead of 2. I watched all the employees faces turn to shock, the other manager then said in a hostile and intimidating manor "if anyone has a problem with this then come speak to me" I was taken back for a moment. It felt like this man had just threaded the jobs of these employees.. I don't know any work place that this kind of behavior is allowed, however it's extremely concerning that this behavior is coming from management. Felt so strongly about this, now having seen at least 5 separate occasions involving this man, that I created this account just to say Something. Really hope this gets resolved. read more

I tried to buy Juul pods, as I have been doing since I've turned 18, and the cashier, Brandon, refused to sell them to me because my license was expired, and was quite rude about it. I find this appalling because multiple people, including the police, have checked my ID since turning 18 and Brandon was the jury and executioner in deciding I could not satisfy my nicotine addiction because of my expired license that clearly had my birth date on it. read more

Buc-ee's is our absolute favorite! Seriously I could do my Christmas shopping for all of my family and friends here! We live close, and visit often to pick up drinks and snacks. Their sandwiches and barbecue are great. Prices are very reasonable, and customer service is always wonderful. The car wash is great. We absolutely love Buc-ee's and love having it close by now, however I'm temporarily giving them 2 stars because the employees making the burritos, wraps etc that you order off of the screen clearly can't read or aren't caring about what you ask to leave out of your item. This location used to be perfect at it but as of late they're anything but. When we put no cheese for example, and it's clearly marked on the tag on the bag, but is still full of cheese in the item there is a problem. This isn't a one time incident. My family frequent Buc-ee's specifically for these items so to have the employees botch them up repeatedly is enough to have our visits cease. We are guessing in the beginning they had opening staffers (best of the best employees) who have now moved on to open a new store leaving the drop outs to run the show now. Sad. I'll move the rating back to a 5 when this problem is rectified for good. read more

We had great experience today using the Bucees Katy car wash. We went through the car wash and afterwards we were vacuuming out our car. Matt from Bucees came by to check on how we were doing. He showed us some features we did not know were there- there is an air gun you can use to get to those hard to reach areas in your car. He also noticed that there were some stubborn spots that did not come off during our car wash. He wasn't happy about that and approved us go through the car wash again to ensure we had a nice clean car. We were happy the first time we went through. It's so nice to see the staff be so concerned about our experience. Great job Bucees at Katy!! read more

I absolutely LOVED this place...until the car wash damaged my truck and Buc-ee's flat out refused to do the right thing and fix it! Apparently, a factory installed trim piece isn't covered, even though every other car wash I've ever been to will in fact cover factory trim. And it's just a Yukon...nothing super fancy. The contact person I had was terrible and rude, basically called me a liar and then refused to return my response email after she denied my claim. There are many, many others who have had the same issue and had the same result, just do some research. Even the car wash attendant on sote told me they weren't going to do anything about it, but he would go ahead and take the report. Actually a pretty crappy company all together, with clean bathrooms! Ha! Anyway, just try to call the store or get in touch with a manager, that place is locked down. No one can just call and report a problem or speak to a manager. It's an act of Congress to have any communication with them. So, in the end, my $20 car wash ended up costing me around $200 to replace the part. Oh, and I didn't even ask for installation or rental or anything. Just for them to buy the part and we would install it. Sad they lost a loyal customer that could (and did) spend that much or more in just one visit, easy! I was crazy about this place! The store and bathrooms are nice, however the Car Wash is the one I have a major problem with. I am a Disabled Veteran and was about to get a car wash when a man wearing glasses and having curly hair working there decided that I couldn't get a car wash because of this "hitch" when in fact it is for my wheelchair as it is a wheelchair lift. I told him that it was for the handicapped and he said that it is not. I mean how dumb do you have to be to NOT recognize a handicapped lift in the back of the vehicle?! As I left, I told him that they should make a sign that the Car Wash is not for the Handicapped Accessible and he replied saying that it is not that?! Poor Customer Service especially to a US Army Retired Veteran Who Served in Vietnam And Korea. To reject any Disabled Veteran driving with a wheelchair lift in the back of their vehicle is a MAJOR DISGRACE!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!! read more

When we inquired about this we were told "you're the second person that has asked for that today". If you crave Almond Amaretto Cappuccino or Big Red Icees, don't bother stopping here! I'm currently in your new Katy location, and your Team Leader Dominique denied myself the right to buy alcohol, because I didn't have my I.D. My mother offered to buy the can of alcohol. She was then instructed that she couldn't purchase THAT can, because I'd touched it. My mother then proceeded to say that she'll purchase a new can from the refrigerator... It was then that the disrespect got to an all-time high... She was told that she'd been denied the right to buy in the whole location. We asked for a manager & then she exclaimed that she was the manager... Then my mother asked on what grounds was she being denied... The Team Leader said because I was who she was buying the alcohol for, which had nothing to do with her being denied. Your Store Manager Joseph, explained that their policy was in place for Spring Break, that she couldn't purchase THAT can. We explained that she would purchase a new can.. He said that he would follow-up ,but showed not genuine concern or customer service for the situation.. We've stopped by 4 of your establishments from Luling to Lake Jackson, and WE LIVE BY THE TEXAS CITY LOCATION!!! I SPEND ATLEAST $42/2DAYS NOT INCLUDING FUEL!!!
