Nails were clipped (I asked to watch but she said only from a window 10 to 15 feet away). I had thought the buffing was included and stated that. She asked me, "do you want buffing?" and I clarified I wanted everything included in what I paid for. Without reply, she took the dog over and did the buffing. After the wash and blow dry, she brought my pup to me as if finished. I said that the website stated that the package I bought included a 15 minute "professional" brush out. She immediately turned (again without comment) and took the dog back to the work table. She brushed him for 10 minutes. Took him to check out and the clerk charged my an extra $12 for the "buffing". I told her what I had told the groomer and she said no, this is the fee for buffing nails. No apologies for misunderstanding, about the same lack of "customer service friendly" as the groomer. I will NEVER return to the McMinnville store.

You know how you are leaving for the airport in a few hours so you put off all your tasks and then realize you have two people you need to have keys made for who are watching your pets while you are gone. Hmmm, I bet that store makes keys... I was genuinely DREADING going back to Beaverton to get keys made because it is always a nightmare to get someone to get someone to come help and it takes forever. This store is friendly from the entrance. Getting a person to help is fast and friendly. Two super cute keys for under $10 in like, maybe 10 minutes - very friendly people through the whole experience and I wanted to do some serious shopping because they had such great house and garden stuff.

We decided to enroll Paco in Sit Means Sit, and we are beyond grateful we did. Matt has been absolutely amazing with Paco. He is patient, knowledgeable, and truly cares about the dogs he works with. He always took the time to answer my questions and made sure I had the right tools and guidance to continue Paco's training at home between sessions. The transformation has been incredible. Paco now comes when called the first time, sits in place, and best of all, walks calmly right next to me. He no longer pulls, jumps, or walks out of control. Well we are two weeks in with our doggie being home and having done a week of Board and Train with…read moreBrian. Prior to SMS, we were having issues with confidence and excitement. He was charging people and dogs while walking ONLY with me. And growling at and even attacked one of our cats, who for reference was his best friend for ages. They'd even sleep together and played a lot. I wanted Miles to get to training before we ended up with him biting someone was my greatest fear. So we picked him up on 4/20 in the morning and went over basics with Brian. Miles was EXHAUSTED for the first few days. Obviously from all that physical AND mental work. But he was immediately different. SO chill. Completely relaxed. By Tuesday of last week (just three FULL days after being home, almost 4,) I was already able to walk him and get Heel, Sit, Down and no reaction to people OR dogs passing with just a 1 tap on the remote. We started with a 3 or 4 the first few days.Miles regularly does GREAT with just this level. We went back on Friday, 4/26 for a session to follow up with Brian. We were VERY pleased with Miles progress as was Brian. We worked on the heel to perfect it and also Tie down, the leash stand and reviewed a few questions. Because Miles was doing so well, Brian suggested that maybe he'd do well with agility work. So he set him up a small course, and put him through it. Well Miles did NOT like it. He LOVED it!!! He had SO much fun. And he was doing AMAZING. He caught on SO fast. So fast rbat Brian sent us specs to build the jumps!! We also worked on high object "place." And Brian gave us lots of tips on that. With it only being 9 days since our pickup and 13 days since he started training, I'd say this was 1000% worth this training. We didn't have a BAD dog but a dog that needed some tweaks and some humans that needed help doing it. Now my husband and I look forward to walks and spending time with and taking him places. And Miles therefore gets MORE time with his people. Ellie, our daughter, LOVES doing "place" and commands with him and Jack, our son, is LOVING agility SO much that he and his dad already started building Miles jumps!!! We aren't very far into this but so far 5 HUGE stars. Thank you Brian!!! Also the office staff has been tremendous. They are responsive and kind and great at following up. 9ur entire experience from consultation to two weeks out is excellent!

We wanted to keep the old glass in order to reinstall if we chose to in the future. Dennis, the owner, came out to assess whether a door door in our French door was a possibility. We had previously been told no by another company. He said that he had done many similar installations successfully. We were able to keep the old glass and he put in a new glass with a Boss Security brand dog door--that is a big upgrade from pet store brands. Dennis was easy to work with, cleaned up the project perfectly, helped me store the glass, and was extremely professional. He really had pride in his work and giving the customer a great product. Since that time, he has worked with me with other fosters and now my 6-month old puppy. I have had dogs my whole life but after one afternoon working with Charles, I learned a new (and better) way to interact with them which has relieved some of the anxiety and stress that comes from owning a reactive dog. Charles calm demeanor and empathetic style of teaching is exactly what most dogs (and owners) need. I especially recommend enlisting Charles help if you have attended those pet store training classes that award you certificates but you still have a dog that doesn't listen, has poor recall, or is reactive on walks. Best of all, Charles has classes outdoors in real world environments where we actually exist with our dogs.
