Unfortunately, things have taken a sharp turn for the worse under the current ownership. Some of the best employees--the ones who built trust with clients and kept the dogs safe--have been leaving one after another due to how poorly the business is being run. Now, completely untrained new hires are being brought in and told they'll be managing, despite having zero experience with dog behavior or daycare safety protocols. It's incredibly unsafe--for both the dogs and the staff. The owner takes no responsibility for training or preparing new employees. There's no onboarding, no walkthrough of fight protocols, and no clear procedures for how to handle emergencies. He also underpays OG staff yet new hires with zero experience are brought in above them. This is no longer a place I would trust with my dog's safety. Until there's a serious change in leadership and training, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

My dog loves coming here and the staff is very engaged and aware of what's happening with your pup. They noticed a tiny bump on his head (he had prior to coming) and six months later remembered that bump when he had surgery on it. Their staff is always friendly, seem to love the dogs, and take their time answering any questions. We're very fortunate to have them here. My only quibble is that you don't actually go in to their facility. You arrive, call, and they come get your dog. (At pickup, some folks don't even get out of their car -- the staff opens car door and pup hops in.) So, I haven't actually been inside though they do have tours on Saturdays when they don't have dogs running around. I was put off by that initially, but from the pics I see and how much my dog loves it, I'm fine with it. A nice perk is they take really nice pics of pups for their Instagram page, including the one they took of mine here.

I used A Sweet Life For Pets for a little over one year for pet sitting for our dogs. All went well until the last few months, and then unfortunately the interactions with the owner started to change. As is common in life, situations occur that require unpredictable scheduling changes. The owner made me feel guilty when I made changes, even though we always paid her for all of the visits that we cancelled with short notice, as a way of saying thank you for any inconvenience that the cancellations may have caused. Also, we always gave her generous gratuities for every visit that she completed! In all my years of having pet sitters help us out, I never experienced such poor customer service from the provider. I will close by saying that I do know that she cared about our dogs, and provided them with good care. It was unfortunate that her treatment of us as pet owners was such a negative that we did not feel comfortable with her caring for our dogs any longer.
