I wanted to have a coffee/latte cart and was looking for about a week for the right person. I came across Millie's Coffee Expresso Catering from Yelp and Wayne was so wonderful. He responded to my request immediately and he drove over 50 miles one way for a 2 hour party. He got there early enough to set up where he was able to serve his awesome drinks right when my party started and served till the party ended. All the parents thanked me for having a coffee/latte cart and I am so happy that Millie's Coffee Espresso will be in my contacts for my all corporate and private parties!!! Thank you Wayne!!!

Having reached out to several vendors, Wayne/Millie's Coffee was the only one that made the cut. We asked a ton of questions, and he answered all of them promptly. Our main requirement was that he made a good plain italian style cappuccino ~ 6oz, topped with latte art, and he definitely delivered! Our guests loved both his customer service and coffee (not just the cappuccino but all the flavored drinks as well). He was also very accommodating, for example we preferred to use organic clover milk over regular milk, at one point we were thinking about switching chocolate, etc.

His response is to quiz me on my family members' names and tell me that payment would be required by wire transfer 4 days in advance of the event as he has been scammed before. - so backstory my cousin and I live in California and were planning this event from Here and between the time difference, my work shedule and being a millennial, email is my preferred method of communication. Also how does a caterer get scammed exactly? But ok, whatever, if his offering and price were what we were looking for I could deal with it. I asked if he was available the next day at 11am and then he told me to call him in the evening that same day. Anyway my cousin found a different caterer that was closer so we went with them. A week later I get an email from the SD Attorney General asking to cease communication with this business because of my scam? WTF?? Umm if I stopped communicating with you I'm obviously not trying to scam you. This dude is paranoid. Avoid this place

I had talked with Bryon who is one of the owners on several occations concerning the delivery and set up of the chairs we needed and where to set them up. When talking to him he was always on his cell phone or in his car and assured me that he would write the instructions down when he returned to the office. The day of my daughters wedding we had Groomsmen waiting for them out at the park and they did not show up on time to deliver the chairs. Then, I got a phone call telling me that they were finally there and refusing to set the chairs up because they had to walk down a side walk path around the small lake that the wedding was at. It turned out that Bryon did not write down the instructions like he said he would and so he did not have the right area for the wedding to set the chairs up. The party workers got mad and told the Groomsmen that their party will be getting another bill for the set up although I had paid the extra for delivery and set up. After arguing with them on my daughters wedding day, the delivery workers finally took the chairs over to the other side of the lake in their van and then started setting the chairs up with an ATTITUDE. I arrange for large party events with my job and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND I WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN!!!! They stood out among the crowd as a local, customer-oriented business that was willing to customize our dinner menu from the ground up. (This included vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free options.) We were very satisfied with our decision! Everyone we spoke with at the wedding positively RAVED about the food. I know we made things difficult with our unusual requests (spaetzle, German potato salad, and pretzel rolls...) but Bob pulled it all off magnificently. I also know for a fact that our families are both enjoying all the extra leftovers. The dinner service itself went off without a hitch, and the set-up and reception were right on schedule. Laurie coordinated with us throughout the entire process, setting up multiple tasting sessions for our families (we live out of town), and hashing out all the details of our menu. She and her staff were both prompt and courteous, and were a real pleasure to do business with. Their pricing was super-reasonable for the quality and amount of food we were getting.
