Hightop to people watch from? Got it. Corner stage area? Sure. Separate intimate room with cool tiki decor? That too. So, you can have cool tiki place (seen a few of them), you can have an on point cocktail game (tasted a few of them), and you might have good service (experienced that too). But all three in one place? Rare. All three as perfect as you can get? Super rare. I would have said only in CA, but, Sioux Falls has it in The Hello Hi. 100%, the best around.

Within 10 minutes, the original bartender came over and let us know about his mistake and gave us our first drinks with a discount. The ambiance was pretty cool and the appetizers of stuffed peppers, chicken skewers and beef meatballs weren't bad. The table settings for the dinner itself were great. They had candles and branches set in vases, with flowers for the wedding party tables. The dance floor was pretty small but luckily it was a small wedding. There's space for a photo booth if you decide to have one against the back wall leading to the bathrooms. The catered food was delicious, only the green beans were a bit salty. Cons: Because it's a shared venue you could occasionally hear the music from the club side of the venue. The bathrooms were also shared which prevented the usual bathroom necessities you find during weddings. There was no coat check, only rolling hangers which I periodically checked on since it was closer to the shared doorway. And the structure of the building meant there were pillars blocking some folks during speeches. Overall this was a solid venue to have a wedding, and they did a really good job setting up tables, and with the food.

We needed an evening bite to eat and chose 411 Restaurant & Lounge. We were glad we did! 411 is named for its address on West Norfolk Avenue and it sits on the south side of a downtown street. It has very attractive outdoor seating with ample room and some privacy on half of it. We considered asking for an outdoor table but opted for indoor. We were promptly greeted and seated, and our seating location (at small round two tops in the back of the restaurant - near the kitchen and bathrooms) and that's one negative hit I'm giving this review. There were better locations open but given the 8:00 pm seating I decided not to push the issue. I'm sure they would have accommodated. However, a host needs to recognize that seating a group of four at two two-tops is not optimum and when four-tops are available they should forgo their server distribution methods and provide a better seating experience without the diner requesting it. Now let's get to what great about 411 - the people, the atmosphere, and the food! Their menu has good variety and creative options. We went with burgers and that menu gives you six different options. We went with the Classic, The 411, and The Jake Burger. All were very good with top rating going to the Jake Burger - Bacon, Fried Jalapeno, Fried Onion, and Pepper Jack Cheese. I asked for my Classic to be prepared medium, and it was medium well at best - so another negative hit on the review. The presentation of the burgers is exceptional with shiny Brioche buns on an ample plate, combined with excellent french fries - we went with the standard fry and the sweet potato fry, and both were very well prepared and seasoned. Fries are often where restaurants loose points with me, because their just an afterthought they throw on the plate. 411 treats them seriously and uses excellent product and preparation to do so. I also ordered a side salad with blue cheese dressing. This was outstanding - both beautiful in presentation and delicious in taste! Five stars on the side salad! The cocktails were very well made, and the bar staff were pros at their job. The attention to detail and training of the bartenders and servers is evident. They have a good kitchen staff also. I was able to watch them from our position in the restaurant (a plus of the otherwise negative seating location!). Overall, 411 Restaurant & Lounge is a great go-to for dining in Norfolk, Nebraska. Give it a try!

I have to admit that I am very fussy about the brand of cigar that I smoke. I was surprised that they had my cigar's brand. When I entered the humidor, they had boxes on the floor. The boxes were still piled nicely. I went into the "Dublin's House" to enjoy my cigar. The smoking lounge is very comfortable & quiet. Of course, I went there while most people were working. In the far back, there is a poker table. Overall, the lounge is a quaint little place. (I mean quaint in a good way.)

They have been well-trained to follow Marriott policy when greeting Bonvoy members, which I highly appreciate. The room is also brand new, this room containing 2 TV sets and an extended couch. Parking is very plentiful here, and the fitness center is awesome, containing kettlebells and stability balls along with traditional dumbells and cardio equipment attached with TV monitors. The pool is small but it's clean and pristine. This is a great place to stay if you are in the Yankton vicinity.
