I ordered a $200 Queen of Sparkles Christmas sweater. I received no email confirmation, no responses to emails and no responses to their website chat. Called 4 separate times and finally received USPS Tracking information. Two days later and my sweater still has not been sent per tracking information. Every time I've called the employees are rude and say "the owners are out of town so they'll respond when they get back." Definitely do not order from this store, still questioning if this was fraud by the way this has gone. read more

Lost my business. Needed a Consuela bag from up high. Some lady said she'd be right back to help me. I wait for a bit and look over; she's talking on the phone, then she talks to another employee, answers another phone call, and then rings another customer up. As I'm walking out the store she says, "give me a minute and I'll be right over to help you." She couldn't find the time to help me in the fifteen minutes I waited, so obviously customer service isn't important. What a beautiful store! Haven't been back in Abilene long but this will be a top store for sure! I'm writing this review only to help out the young girls who work during the days. Hey y'all I don't usually write reviews but after reading miss D.P's review I could not stay silent.. first of all miss D.P. you are very beautiful and I'm sorry they treated you that way Bucketheads store is giving racism.. I am a African American female and I went into to that store to see if they were interested in selling my handmade gemstone jewelry after a friend suggested that store for me.. When I came in I was greeted by one kind employee but another women not sure her position stood close to her listening to our conversation the budded in and was rude, dismissive and very impatient with me.. they told me to send in my pic and that they don't know when the manager would be in for me to email her.. I looked around the store and I was being followed by a older female worker. She followed me everywhere I went in the store to look at the clothes ,shoes and sales rack I guess she thought I was going to steal something.. I was shocked and hurt. That was bold, and very disrepectful.. I will never spend a dime there sorry.. Please be careful when going to that store they are not customer friendly to African American women.. WHOA! Buyer beware. The prices in these items are WAY too much. I went to the Christmas Market and I saw a sweater that I instantly fell in love with. I looked at the price and the sweater was $179. I am not kidding. I couldn't believe it! There is NO way I would ever pay that price (and you shouldn't either!). I won't return to them. read more

extremely disappointed in the interaction i saw between the owner and her employees. employees were absolutely amazing, no complaints towards the employees, but every ounce of hatred towards the owners. they treated the girls like complete garbage. employee was asked to fold clothes in the middle of helping a customer and the owner stomped her foot and started yelling. i myself, and the other customers in the store all directed their eyes towards the grown woman throwing a fit in the middle of the store. extreme second hand embarrassment, and felt nothing but pure regret for ever spending money and funding these snobby owners disgusting life style. i apologized to the employee and the owner, i believe her name was alex, threw her hands up and rolled her eyes at ME! owners have no respect for their customers or their employees. i have been in there multiple times and this is not the only incident i've seen occur like this. one day i was checking out and the girls were being yelled at on the phone and were all crying. i overheard one of the girls tell the other, while crying, that she was needed by nancy on the phone. i absolutely do not suggest going in, not only was it an awkward experience for the me, the customer, but i felt so incredibly sorry for the sweet girls working on the floor. never even been on yelp, but absolutely downloaded the app to leave this review. read more

When I entered the store with intentions to purchase items to decorate my new home with, I was not greeted. I was ignored multiple times and one of the staff came towards me and then turned around as soon as she saw me and asked another customer if they needed help with anything. I made eye contact with an older lady at the counter and she went back to wrapping items and didn't ask if I needed help. It saddens me because I go shopping at their clothing store in the mall all the time and the girls are super sweet there. Because of this experience at the Home and Gift shop I ended up leaving and going to Kirklands and ended up spending well over a thousand dollars that day. I really wanted to give this location my business as I am a real estate investor and hope to come here multiple times to purchase items for all our properties for staging purposes. I ended up giving two stars because the lady behind the counter finally, after I went up to her and asked for help, actually came out to help me for a little bit then disappeared when I turned for a little bit, after she couldn't help me find what I was looking for. read more

My advice is to go in and find out for yourself what you think of Bucketheads. From my experience here as a shopper, the owner is nothing but nice. They live right here in Abilene so I love supporting local businesses. They recently opened a store in Lubbock also. Great place to go find a specific outfit for a night out or special occasion. They do have a no refund policy. You can exchange but no refunds. It is posted behind the register and on the receipt. I have never had any trouble exchanging something that doesn't fit. Staff constantly asks if you need help, items way overpriced, and I received 2 gift cards from there as gifts and neither one had anything on them when I tried to use them and the sales clerk said "Sorry". Won't go back. read more

I will eat shards of broken glass before I spend money here. There stock is overly marked up, foreign produced, banal drivel. They post photos of people online, accusing them of theft with no proof, riling up bored housewives into a sense of being crimebusters, with no proof or means of responsibility. read more

Worst customer service ever. Don't shop here I called and complained to the manager and she pretty much laughed when I told her my complaint about the refund policy. I don't live in Abilene and I specifically told the cashier I was from Tyler and I didn't love an outfit but I wanted to see if it looked better with a girdle, cashier said NOTHING about no refunds. I just moved to Abilene from East Texas and came across Bucketheads. I have only been two times out of the 3 weeks I been here and so far each time the staff was very friendly. The merchandise n products are very cute but pricey. read more

We live in Lubbock and shop the store there at least once a week. We have gotten to know all the girls that worked there in the pass, plus also got to know the owner while he was in the store. The last few times we have been in the store, especially this pass weekend 9-26, not one of the girls ever asked if they could help or anything else. It has gotten to the point, we probably will not be going back because of the atmosphere that the Lubbock store has now. read more
