I ordered flowers for my friends 40th birthday kind of on the fly on a Friday morning. They said they were able to accommodate me and make something MANly and get it to his acting studio by 2 pm. I was very specific about what I needed to happen since they were delivering to his acting studio and he was in class, which was the main reason why I was spending the money I did. It turns out that they never did knock on his class door and he barely got his flowers at 20 after two in the parking lot after all the other students had left.( which was opposite of my intention of delivering the flowers) which ended up being $150. I am not sure why a florist charges $15 to go literally down the road but evidently they do? I mentioned if everything had gone smoothly that I would call back & tip but after hearing the story from my friend I didn't call back. The florist took the liberty of calling me to ask ME IF i wanted to leave the tip? I find this slightly inappropriate and classless actually. But i left a tip anyway since they must need it if they are calling me back. I feel I got up sold to a larger arrangement although it was very nice and very pretty. And after hearing my friends version of how it all went down i dont feel they did what i asked them to do. Flowers look beautiful and were out in the specified vase and a box for travel as requested. Slightly over priced in my opinion and delivery fee? Really guys? Grub hub charges $2.99 for way more work. read more

My husband has been sending me flowers from BB's for several years. Unfortunately, over the last year the quality of the arrangements have started to decline. He presented me with a beautiful arrangement on 2/13 for V-day and by this morning - 2/15, the flowers are already starting to die. The yellow calla lilies are drying up around the edges. The edges of the white roses are turning brown. The blue hydrangeas are COMPLETELY wilted. The unopened roses are limp ... clearly, they won't open. Arrangements costing north of $250, should last longer than two days. People work hard and don't have money to through away. I've gotten flowers from Costco that have lasted longer. Quality goods are slowly becoming a thing of the past. read more

Ms.Patricia Moscoso was pleasant and gave me some key advice since I knew nothing about plants and I wanted the arrangement to be appropriate for the occasion. She also went above and beyond by changing the vase for a complicated arrangement to be most in keeping with my needs. The prices were affordable and I would HIGHLY recommend her over those big named corporations that sell flowers. The store was exquisite!!! I am SO disappointed and SO upset. I am a returning customer at Buckhead Blooms. The last time I made a fairly large order and there were no issues. So when it came time to order flowers for my father's funeral, of course, I went to BB. I had a very specific request for white rose boutonnieres. I placed the order with Javier and moved on to other details of my father's funeral. However, when I arrived to pick up the order, I was presented with a box of CARNATION boutonnieres. When I advised him that I had ordered roses, his response was "the roses were more expensive." I beg your pardon! On further discussion with the woman who proclaimed herself to be the "acting manager" Bernadette, her first response was also to try to explain to me about the price of the roses. I had to interrupt her and let her know that the price was not the issue here. The issue was that they had not produced what I specifically requested. She proceeded to outline to me the pros and cons of roses versus carnations (including the fact that roses were for proms), all of which I appreciated, not being a "flower expert" as she said of Javier. However, as I told her, none of that was part of the conversation I had with Javier on placing my order. Had that conversation taken place, I would have had the opportunity to make the decision as to which flower I wanted. Instead, their biases led them to believe that I somehow couldn't afford what I was requesting??? And therefore, I should have carnations??? Mind you, this order was a good deal larger than the initial order I placed, and an additional charge for roses was immaterial, given that it was my father's funeral and white roses were what my family had decided on. Of note, just to be sure I wasn't completely insane, I looked back through my email to discover that I had never been forwarded an invoice, so any opportunity to correct this before the work was done was nonexistent. And after I picked up my order, I received a receipt that just said, "item" quantity 60....Sigh... It is so disappointing that Bernadette decided to debate me instead of trying to solve what apparently was a miscommunication. The carnation boutonnieres are nice and well made, but they are NOT WHAT I REQUESTED. After a quick search, it appears that the unprofessionalism displayed in this case is not an isolated incident. I think the owner Patricia should delay the trip back to her home country this summer and instead opt to give her staff a refresher course on customer service and conflict resolution. Supposedly, the owner is to be notified about this issue, but that remains to be seen, considering the conduct outlined above. In any case, I will be taking my future business elsewhere, where it is appreciated and where I am treated like a valued customer. read more

Ordered two separate and specific arrangements and asked for no purple. Came in to retrieve them. They both had purple and were both exactly the same. I kindly and respectfully brought it to their attention with nothing but smiles. Everyone was kind and sweet and apologetic. When they were asking me what to change, I suggested they add more gerberas and before I could finish my thought the designer comes out and gives me a rude face and tells me "we're not adding any more of anything, we worked with your budget." I replied nicely and said "okay not a problem, it was just a suggestion!" Then she said "you need to give us a minute and go wait in your car." I asked her why she has an attitude and told her I'll wait where I see fit. The manager then tells me that the designer was not rude at all and I cannot speak to their designer that way. Then she also tells me to wait in my car. I had been nothing but kind and understanding when it was THEIR mistake. To be treated like that when they were in the wrong and I had been only understanding and kind is extremely frustrating. I am an event planner and exclusively order my arrangements from BB and tell EVERYONE about them. Not sure if that will continue. read more

This business is amazing. For two reasons for me. Stellar service and sophisticated, exceptional and gorgeous flowers! After searching the Internet, I found Buckhead blooms and searched through their website. I was trying to find a thank you gift to send to my grandmother for all she did for my wedding. She is a member of the Cherokee garden club, so buying flowers for her is daunting to say the least. After searching their website I just decided to call and get their expert advice. Immediately a very helpful and knowledgeable woman answered the phone and helped me put together a completely custom trio of rare lady slipper orchids to send to my grandmother. My husband has ordererd expensive arrangements for me a number of times from this shop. I finally told him to stop. They always stuff the arrangements with hydrangeas, and they are completely wilted by the next morning. I have even tried spritzing them with water to no avail. (My husband is not requesting hydrangeas btw.) This happened last time, and they replaced the arrangement. My husband just bought me an arrangement for Valentines, and the same thing happened. All of the hydrangeas (at least six) were completely wilted by the next morning. Further, some of the other flowers in the arrangement are already dying after two days. They charged my credit card anyway. I then ordered them for the correct month using the amount already charged. I highly recommend this place! I needed to buy some calla lilies for a wedding proposal. I spoke with Patricia, Sandy, and a few of the other florist over there and wow, they were all so helpful and courteous. Prior to speaking with them, I called other florists to get an idea of how much the lilies would cost but no one was as helpful as Buckhead Blooms. I told them that my budget was tight and that instead of buying a vase from them, I would bring in my own vase. Right away, they understood and said it was okay for me to bring in my own vase. After coming into the store and showing the florist my vase, she brought out some calla lilies and should be how they would look in my vase. She cut one of the stems to give me and idea and with her help we were able to create a beautiful presentation. When I came back the following day to pick up the flowers, I was shocked with how beautifully the lilies looked! I can honestly say that I would not have this great of an experience anywhere else. The staff are so helpful and eager to work with you. They will listen to your concerns and will do whatever they can to make you happy. If you are looking for a trusted florist then look no further! Paid quite a lot for a bouquet which I had asked to be "white, pink, orange with some green" and received mostly green. It looked like a bush vs a bouquet of flowers for a special day. They said they "didn't have many of the colors I had asked for in stock so they had to use more green" which would have been nice to know prior to picking it up so I could have had a chance to improve the bouquet with color. Refused to issue even a partial refund, feel like I got a bouquet worth half as much as what I paid. read more

I was disappointed that the flowers that were displayed on the website did not resemble the flowers that were sent. I had even asked the florist when I ordered if the flowers that were displayed in the arrangement on the web site were in stock as I know sometimes they sometimes substitute. She assured me she had those flowers in stock. Well my sister sent us a picture of the flowers she received and they no way resemble the flowers I ordered. The selection I made was very classy and understated arrangement with calla lilies and hydrangeas in a rectangle low vase with river rocks. What my sister received was a very large overstated flower arrangement of roses and other flowers in a very large tall vase. Even though the flowers were pretty it WAS NOT what I had ordered or assured would be sent. read more
