I had an OK experience with Buckhead Wright's Florist. The Valentine's flowers delivered look great and are very fresh and fragrant. I ordered the flowers online at Buckhead Wright's Florist's website (http://www.buckheadwrights.com/). One of the first arrangements to pop up on the front page was Beautiful in Blue. It caught my eye immediately. I liked it because it was different than stereotypical red Valentine's Day arrangements. Beautiful in Blue comes with blue hydrangea, creme roses, white lilies and alstroemeria, yellow and white chrysanthemums, eucalyptus, limonium, and more in a blue vase. The flowers delivered look similar to the website, but not as colorful. I was hoping they would be more colorful. They are still pretty, however, and the size of the bouquet is impressive; very full and healthy looking. The flowers are beautiful and in good condition. Most of the flowers are at or close to full bloom. I ordered a standard arrangement which cost $64.95 plus a $12.95 delivery fee and $6.23 in tax. The total cost was $84.13. Generally, these prices, both for flowers alone and the delivery fee, are comparable to other florists in Atlanta. In recent years, I've ordered flowers from Peachtree Petals ($9.99 delivery fee), Florist Atlanta ($12.00), and Carithers Flowers ($14.99). I last ordered from Peachtree Petals in September 2016 and their delivery fee was still only $9.99 - what I've found to be the best in Atlanta. I ordered these flowers from Buckhead Wright's Florist in January for delivery during the week before Valentine's Day. Prices seem to have dropped since then because the same arrangement, at the time of writing this review, now costs only $57.95 ($7 less). I wonder if I paid more because of when the flowers were delivered. The website didn't seem to indicate this. "Deluxe" and "Premium" versions of the arrangement are available (at higher cost) as well. I passed on the optional balloon, chocolates, and stuffed animal because I think that stuff is cheesy, but I did include a heartfelt note with the bouquet (complimentary). My girlfriend likes the flowers, but not as much as the flowers I got her from Peachtree Petals last fall. She's not the biggest fan of the vase nor the arrangement and thinks it looks generic. However, she loves the freshness and fragrancy of the flowers. Her roommate likes these flowers better than the ones I got from Peachtree Petals, so these thoughts are subjective and based on personal taste. I think these are the first flowers I've had delivered that did not come with flower food. (2) My emailed invoice said: "For questions, please email smoon@amoonoverbuckhead.com." I did have one question and sent an email to that email address. It was immediately returned with the message: "The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now. Please try resending this message later, or contact the recipient directly." In the end, I'm not sure I would order from Buckhead Wright's Florist again given the better experiences I've had with other florists in Atlanta, though I certainly don't consider them a bad option either. read more

So, for Christmas, I received the prettiest roses I've ever gotten. And they look fabulous a half-week later!! I don't know if I've ever gotten flowers from Wright's before, but they are awesome and have an un-logoed card, so I had to try to pry info out of him to know from whence they came - but he admitted he got them there because of all places, these would be longest-lasting. One tip for anyone thinking about using this place: DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST! I wish I could rate this less than one star, because this place doesn't deserve any! I booked Buckhead Wright's as the florist for my wedding. Everything was done and set; contract signed, deposit paid, numerous emails back and forth about details. My mom called Monday, the week of my wedding to make sure all details were confirmed and they knew where they needed to be and when. All fine. My wedding was on a Friday and the flowers were set to be delivered to us at 3pm. We called around 1pm the day of to once again confirm delivery details. All was fine. 3:30pm came and we realized the flowers still were not delivered. We proceeded to call the front desk at the hotel, no flowers had been delivered. This was my wedding day and I didn't have flowers! We then called Buckhead Wright's and asked where they were and the response we got was "O, isn't that wedding tomorrow?" We had a contract and numerous emails with the correct date! Let alone the fact that we called THAT DAY and confirmed the delivery details. Needless to say, the flowers finally arrived, but they were almost two hours late and cost us hundreds of dollars in extra hours with the photographer and at the venue. The best part about this whole thing is that when we called the Monday after the wedding to find out what happened, no apology was given and the owner, Sherry Moon, said she put the wrong date on her calendar. Are you kidding me?! This was not a flower delivery to your sister for graduating college, this was a wedding! This is a date that you cannot get wrong. I've been ordering from Buckhead Wright's for the last 9 months. They have never disappointed. My girlfriend just had her wisdom teeth out and I walked in trying to get flowers for her last minute. I did a last minute walk in and they were very accommodating! The got to handpick the flowers for my bouquet and they turned out beautiful! The florist that helped me was very sweet. I would've given 5 stars but they didn't have a very big selection. Other than that, everything was great! UPDATE: went there again for last minute bouquet. I called and they had it ready within 45 mins. When I went to pick my bouquet up, it was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I asked for! What an amazing team at Wrights. They helped me with a charity donation to a patient recovering at Shepherd Center who wanted to propose to his girlfriend of 10 years while still receiving treatment after a catastrophic accident left him fully paralyzed. He wanted to give her 10 roses to represent each of the years they'd been dating. The team at Wrights not only put a beautiful bouquet of white roses together they also made sure the ribbons and entire presentation were in his fiance's favorite colors. So generous with their donation, kindness and compassion. I highly recommend working with this talent team and florist. She said yes and the flowers helped make the celebration so memorable. read more

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife (our first Valentines by the way) and so Buckhead Wright's calls my Wife's phone to reschedule the delivery for the 13th instead of the 14th ruining the surprise! So of course my wife calls me and is excited for the kind gesture but sad about the mix up. As we're on the phone, I then get a call from Buckhead Wright's who tells me they can deliver on the 13th and did not mention that they've called my wife and told her I ordered flowers. They would not offer me a discount or upgrade. And the woman's tone made it seem like I made the mistake. Well she's right. I made a mistake ordering flowers from Buckhead Wright's Florist. Beware of this florist especially if they are working with Teleflora!!!! A friend purchased flowers for me over the web. The arrangement was supposed to be roses and lilies but instead I received toms. Teleflora was called and questioned and they assured my friend that I would receive new flowers. Instead the florist called me and interrogated me saying she was told I had never received the flowers. I had no idea that I did not receive the intended flowers until after my conversation with the florist. It is interesting how the gig economy has reduced business practices to the point where the fulfillment business doesn't care if they fulfill your order or not because they believe it is ok to substitute flowers even when not comparable merely because they contracted for a price they can not operate on. Buckhead Wright Florist and Teleflora should be ashamed of their behavior!! On the left is what my friend ordered- on the right is what I received. My new office was not far away, and, within minutes, I received a second phone call from my new building confirming delivery. I used to use Buckhead Wright's a lot when I lived in Buckhead. They delivered all the way out to Chamblee. Placing an order is painless and simple on their website. They have a nice selection of arrangements and are part of the Teleflora network. And they are always put together nicely and delivered on time. I no longer live in Buckhead but will probably continue to use Wright's because they deliver to my wife's office. They are a great florist! read more

We traveled to Atlanta (we live out of state) to plan my brother's rehearsal dinner; we had three or four florists' appointments, and we cancelled all the rest after meeting with Sherry. Why? Within minutes, she "knew" what we needed and her ideas were brilliant (of course, Rhett supervised the entire meeting . . . and if you don't know who Rhett is, it's worth stopping by to meet him!). Given that this was wintertime, and the dinner was a few months away, she assured us all we needed to do was confirm the number of table rounds for the table centerpieces. Really? That's it?! That was it, and that was all. All of the arrangements were over-the-top gorgeous - the head table arrangements, the centerpieces, everything was so fresh and gorgeous and working with Sherry and her team couldn't have been any simpler. Following the event, they were in my mother's car for two days, and when we retrieved them after traveling, they still looked amazing! It's worth mentioning that her prices were very, very reasonable, too. I live out of state, but needed to send last minute birthday flowers to my sister in Atlanta so googled to find Buckhead Wright's Florist close to her house and called them and requested that two extra large Peace Lilies be delivered. The following morning the florist Judy personally called me back and apologized because the truck had come in with the extra large lilies she'd ordered but Judy didn't think they were pretty enough so she opted for two slightly smaller ones that were better plants and had more blooms, and wanted me to know what she'd done and that she was refunding some money. The lilies Judy chose and delivered were absolutely beautiful, and I really appreciate the florist using her good judgment and delivering the best quality plants available instead of just sending the more expensive ones that I'd ordered, and I appreciate her following up with me. I will definitely use this florist again next year when I forget my sister's birthday until the day before! read more

I was looking for a florist in the area and after reading the owner's response to Brittany S. I would definitely not use this shop. First of all, get the name right... In your response, Sherry, you even spelled the bride's name wrong! I would certainly want someone with better skills at details than apparently you have. Then to say that the wedding wasn't until later that day made no difference if all the emails asked you to deliver them by 3:00 or 3:30; I know many instances where flowers are needed for photo shoots before the actual wedding! At least you admitted you made a mistake and had put the date down wrong, but again, details are important in your line of work...what if the bride's mother hadn't called again? That would have meant that no flowers would have been delivered at all! What a shame that you don't see how wrong this is! No thank you, I will go somewhere else! read more
