I absolutely love this Buckhead Village District area with its shopping as well as its food options. You also have to get lucky to be able to find parking here on the street. Parking on the street here is super cheap something like a dollar or something an hour, which is incredible compared to Chicago it almost $15-$26 an hour depending on where you are. This area is so super cute and quaint. It has some of the best shops ever and it also has some great eating options where you want to sit down or you just wanna grab something and walk around as well. There is even a huge courtyard area where you can sit outside and have a laptop. Have a meeting and enjoy your coffee as well. I came here several times during my visit to Atlanta for both meals as well as shopping as well as some service work too I would definitely be coming back here again and look forward to more of the empty spaces being filled up with more stores and more food options read more

The area is beautiful with great shopping and restaurants. Went to a pop up Spanx sample sale and got dinner. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but there's only ONE WAY to pay for parking in the garage. There's no app, tap to pay, or cash accepted. So if you don't have a physical card with a functioning strip, you're not getting out of the garage! And restaurants only validate for 2 hours even though 0-3hrs costs $5. If you're over by 1 min...(even if traffic is backed up and it takes almost 10 minutes to get to the exit) you have to pay...with a physical card. A huge bummer. This is an outdoor higher end mixed use shopping center in Buckhead at Peachtree and Pacesferry. Many shops moved here from Phipps when this party central part of Buckhead got refaced a while ago. It's never crowded, easy access to specific stores and restaurants being that it's an outdoor shopping center and has relaxed vibe, wide sidewalks with ample parking. I like shopping here. This location is more convenient for me than Phipps and less time consuming. The shops I enjoy here are Ferguson, Wolford, Warby Parker, Bella Cucina, Gallery Anderson and others. Many shops come and go here but Shake Shack, le Bilboquet and Hermes have endured. Fado is still here too. Recently on a drizzly weekend, I came here for an art fest. It was wonderful with many more local artists than other festivals and it wasn't crowded:). I noticed many more local quality craftsmen like blacksmith, woodworkers and leather artisans than Chastain and Dogwood festivals... perhaps a revival? Price is higher but things tend to be often luxury oriented. Service is very good at all the stores. They are attentive, friendly and helpful. Much better than even Nordy's. Parking is paid street and deck. The shops here validate parking in the deck. Overall, Buckhead Village has been a great addition to the area. Bravo for the developers for creating this super chic, clean area that offers super high end shopping and dining in a fashionable insta worthy backdrop. The Shops Buckhead Atlanta renamed and rebranded to Buckhead Village District (BVD) in April 2020. It's the third different name for this development since its first stores and restaurants opened in September 2014. Before opening, the project was called "Buckhead Avenues" and "The Streets of Buckhead." At opening, the name was the confusing "Buckhead Atlanta." One year later, September 2015, the name was changed to the less-confusing-but-still-generic "The Shops Buckhead Atlanta." Today, it's "Buckhead Village District." Technically, Buckhead Village District is located in the Buckhead Village neighborhood of the Buckhead district. So, this development has managed to continue to: (1) keep Buckhead in its name and (2) maintain a name that's not completely unique. Can't someone just name it Lenox Square or Phipps Plaza and call it a day? How about "Irby Center" or "Irby Place" or something like that? In the early 1830s, there was a man named Henry Irby who owned the land here. The story goes he placed a buck head of a buck he killed in front of his tavern, Irby's Tavern. Irby's Tavern was located in this area and that's how the name Buckhead came to be. Jamestown LP is the current owner of Buckhead Village District and Jamestown is the company behind the last name change. Jamestown also owns Ponce City Market and Westside Provisions District -- quite the portfolio in Atlanta. Jamestown wasn't behind the names before Buckhead Village District. That was under the previous owner and developer, OliverMcMillan. Jamestown reportedly purchased The Shops Buckhead Atlanta from OliverMcMillan for between $175 million to $200 million in July 2019. For comparison purposes, Hines purchased Atlantic Station in Midtown from North American Properties in 2015 for nearly $200 million. PGIM Real Estate purchased Avalon in Alpharetta from North American Properties in 2016 for about $500 million. The properties vary in size and offerings - for example, Atlantic Station and Avalon both have movie theaters, grocery stores, greenspace, and an ice skating rink during the winter - but those figures should give you a feel for how much these places are worth. Buckhead is one of the wealthiest districts in the South, so it's no surprise that Buckhead Village District is upscale with high-end restaurants and retailers. Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills has been used to describe what this place is and is not like, and I can see some of the former in BVD. BVD isn't nearly has high-end as Rodeo Drive, but the two do share some of the same luxury brands like Brunello Cucinelli, Dior, Hermes, Jimmy Choo, and Moncler. BVD also has more casual and affordable brands like Bonobos and Warby Parker. In terms of restaurants and bars, I think BVD has a decent lineup. I wouldn't say it's great, but it's certainly not bad. BVD is home to Atlanta's first Shake Shack (opened September 2014). I've enjoyed my visits to Fado Irish Pub, Georgetown Cupcake, Le Bilboquet (French bistro/cafe and bar), and The Southern Gentleman (gastropub). It's too bad Doraku (sushi) and Qing Mu (noodles) closed in 2020. Those restaurant concepts, from the Aoki Group based in Miami and Honolulu, opened in 2015 and 2014, respectively. A few other restaurants that have come and gone from BVD (then The Shops Buckhead Atlanta) over the years: * American Food and Beverage - opened January 2015, closed January 2016 * Thirteen Pies - opened October 2014, closed May 2016 * Dolce Italian - opened September 2015, closed December 2017 Is there currently a restaurant at BVD that I'd go out of my way for? Not really, but that doesn't mean the options are terrible. I do think developments like Ponce City Market, Krog Street Market, Atlantic Station, and Avalon have equal or better food. Specifically, when compared to food halls at places like Ponce City Market and Krog Street Market, BVD's restaurants are all sit-down places with their own dedicated dining rooms. There's no food hall or food court at BVD. I do like the overall aesthetic of Buckhead Village District and what they've tried to accomplish with this development since its opening in 2014. It's nice. I've generally had a good time during all my trips here, hence my four-star Yelp rating. However, I don't think the visions for this development have ever really come to fruition due, ultimately, to the tenant mix. Simply put, I think BVD needs to attract more tenants and better-quality tenants, whether it be from brand recognition or chef/restaurant name recognition. I hope they get there. I enjoy walking through Buckhead Village- it reminds me of Brickell Miami for those who are trying to find a comparable vibe. Buckhead Village is one of the wealthier parts of Atlanta, thus it features high end restaurants, retail, a Whole Foods, and other stores. However, once you cross over 2 lights, you are at a relatively normal Publix block with normal stores, so the disparity in Buckhead is quite interesting. Right at the corner there is a books/wine bar and along Pharr road there's the Atlanta Fish Market, exotic car store, and hidden is my personal favorite, Ani's Cafe- French food (they make in house smoked salmon!). Exercise- I actually like making Buckhead village a good strolling place. there's also a gym and some yoga and spas around this block. Bakeries/Cafe- There's this one high end patisserie joint called Saint Germain for your desserts and croissants. If you want coffee, brash coffee has this cute little truck in a space with a beautiful artificial floral wall. retail- there's so many nice stores to look at. Fancy if you will, but LV, Louboutin etc exist here. Makes fora night evening ritzy stroll if you want the lights Restaurants- a decent combination but I really wish they had a good asian place. there is the Colonial which is upscale Viet French, Southern Gentleman, The Bilboquet a French place, Italian places called Vino, and some other nice eateries. They are all good and worth the price you pay. Really wish they had a good noodle bar/sushi place/ Thai etc here to change up the relatively western palate. What I really really like is that Buckhead's library, an unassuming place is right there in the middle of this. A modest place that transports you to a community resource free from all the ritz and glamor. Great for kids and also there is a music school for kids to drop off There's a HUGE dog park called Fetch in the back there has a bar, movie screen and giant field for dogs to play for a membership. I love the Shops at Buckhead. It is a very fancy, outdoor shopping center located in Buckhead. There are so many stores, and most of them are high end. You can find Dior, Hermes, Tom Ford, Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, and more... I absolutely love the "window-shopping" experience, I feel like you can't find these as often any more and it sucks, it makes me feel like I'm walking around in Europe LOL. There's only a few dining options, but a great selection. Some of the ones you can find are Shake Shack, Taverna, American Cut, and then right next to each other on the second level (B2) you'll find The Southern Gentleman (southern gastropub), and Gypsy Kitchen (Spanish cuisine). The Regent Cocktail Club is also located on level two (A2). This lounge has a rooftop area where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Atlanta. As we all know, parking can be really tricky in Atlanta. There's plenty of parking in their garage, and complimentary 3 hour self parking is provided with validation by most of the businesses you visit. Valet is also available, and they offer "Flash Valet" which will allow you to text them, and tell them where you want your car to be delivered close to you. Nice. As many times as I've visited Atlanta and the surrounding areas, I've never been to The Shops 'til now (this past Tuesday, that is). I arrived at around 11 am, and surprisingly, there weren't many people...but then, it was a dreary day (light showers). This was ideal for me, since it made parking easy...and shopping even easier. Plus, less people is always a plus for me lol! The entire shopping area is quite nice, with an exclusive air to it, with a unique layout as well. I wondered if the place gets busy during the day if the weather wasn't so bad? If not, how did the retailers afford to keep up the expenses? I truly worry about the precarious nature of these retailers, given the constant proliferation of online shops and boutiques...not to mention the coming of the automation industries in the near future? As much as I love shopping (or even browsing through!) these boutiques, as well as malls, I hope they all survive. Anyway, as expected, there were many high-end stores, but a few mid-range ones, like Luna and Planet Blue. Since I've been to many high-end stores in my recent trip to LA, I skipped going in to most. I did enjoy a visit into Alice+Olivia (where I found this amazing fur shawl) and Akris (where I fell in love with this stunning bag)...both of which I am still debating getting!), as well as Luna (where I actually did some damage). As mentioned in another review, I also fell in love with this cute dessert eatery Amorino Gelato, featuring a Rose-shaped Gelato Cone. There were also several cool restaurants, some of which I'd love to try on my future trip to Atlanta. I actually regret not eating here instead of driving off to a nearby restaurant, which received better reviews than the ones here. Overall, this is a fun place to shop...even to just browse around. It wasn't as big or extensive as I had thought, which was somewhat of a downer. Also, the weather made it just a tad less enjoyable. For many years, Atlantan's have been told that this Buckhead area that used to be well known for its clubs would be torn down and a new array of luxurious stores would be put here, well, $1 billion dollars later and now 1.5 million square feet Buckhead Atlanta is finally completed. Some of the stores have opened (15 in September; this month) and the others will be opening shortly. There is 275,000 square feet of upscale retail shops, 125,000 square feet of luxury offices and they built 400,000 square feet of high-rise residential condos, which is called "The Residence Buckhead Atlanta." Their studios are 692-707 SF, one bedroom are 707-985 SF, two bedroom 1,212-1,422 SF, three bedroom 1,835-1,962 SF and their penthouses are 1,433-1,997 SF. Only reason this is not a one star, they do have a lot of people working to ease the experience of nothing being compete and direct you where to go. The place is a ghost town at the time being and very much unfinished. It's opened very prematurely, I am not sure what reason is, but I know the intention. They couldn't wait to start raking in the cash, unfortunately I don't think anybody is buying anything here in the near future other than food from Shake shack, which seemed to be hopping. It's ok. I do tend to go at off hours but it seems really quiet there. I rarely see people inside the shops there. The only shop that I'm excited about here is Davidoff of Geneva. #1: I keep parking in the same area of the parking deck and then I have a long walk through this industrial garage area. Not the best welcome to high end shopping. I need to figure out a better place to park but I just keep doing the easy thing which ends up annoying me. #2: Sometimes the elevator smells like sewage. Again, not a good welcome to high end shopping. There are a few good restaurants here. Decent dining and drinking but these spots are more places I eat at if I'm already here. I wouldn't make a trip to this center just to eat or drink there. I do like Fadó. I miss the old location, the old building. I'm glad it is still around but the old building had so much more character. read more

I would have enjoyed my visit to Shops Buckhead. They had all kinds of overpriced shops no one could ever afford, free activities for kids like s'mores and crafts, even free gift wrapping. They have an amazing restaurant called Taverna. What ruined it for me was the elevator. We got stuck in the elevator for over 45 minutes. I never thought the day would come that I would have to press the Help button in an elevator. So, my family and my KIDS got an what look liked a perfectly normal elevator. There was no signage or anything to tell us that it was broken. We tapped the parking deck button, and the door closed. We realized that we were not moving, so we tried to open the door and press that button. That didn't work so we pressed the help button and the alarm. I'm not sure who it was answering the help button, but it just made us more nervous. She said that it would be about an hour before she could get someone to open the door. We knew that this was unacceptable since there was no air circulation in there, so we called 911. The fire department was unable to locate the elevator. After 45 minutes of panicking and calling every Buckhead number we could find, the door finally started to move. Someone was trying to pull it open. Some random technician guy pried the door open with some kind of wrench. All of the employees were extremely unapologetic to 2 crying children and 2 angry parents who were stuck in their ghetto elevator. The technician claimed that he went downstairs to get security and would have been back up in 5 minutes max to fix it. Obviously this was a lie considering we were in the elevator for so long, so if he came back in 5 minutes, he could've opened it sooner. They didn't to anything to make up for it. All they did was give us a free parking ticket, which we already had from eating at Taverna. None of the employees apologized once. They can afford all of these fancy shops, but when it comes to the safety of their customers; they're complete cheapskates. Stay away. read more

Well, I have been hearing about Buckhead-Atlanta quiet a bit lately. But what actually brought me here was a restaurant opening - what can I say nothing moves me like prospect of delicious meal. This will be the new Atlantic station. Actually no, this is what visionaries of Atlantic station wanted it to be. One stop shopping for all luxury brands. I don't care too much for luxury brands but i'm excited for the new businesses, restaurants and job opportunities. The shopping complex itself is sprawled across several blocks between Buckhead Ave and East paces ferry. Coming from peidmont ave, when you enter the Buckhead ave, limited free street parking is available, exclusive to this shopping complex. Also if you continue on, you will find signs for complimentary valet parking as well. You will see beautiful flowers and plants everywhere. They do this by cutting middle men in the business and directly working with manufacturers. And their customer service is really good! I will have a separate review of the Atlanta shop another time. Also, needless to say I'm excited about all the restaurant openings as well. If you check the website of buckhead-Atlanta, you will see a list of restaurants. But currently only two of them is open for business. Good old 'Faso irish Pub' and Shake Shack. It's just really a good place to hangout. Loved the area and wonderful collection of shops throughout the area but it's expensive. A great place to eat though! Each restaurant has a unique feel. The parking staff is friendly and I always feel welcome when visiting! read more

Be advised that they have changed the parking system for the stores and restaurants. It is extremely difficult and confusing to use the parking machines to get into the underground parking. We had a free parking voucher from the restaurant where we dined. The machine would not accept it and we ended up getting dinged for $5 to park when our parking should have been free. Buckhead Village management did not respond in ANY way to my request for assistance in this matter. read more

The Shops Buckhead Atlanta is the new bougie place (goodbye, Lenox Square Mall) for people that have a lot of dolla dolla billz or just like to #treatyoself everyday. It's got a ton of the luxury boutiques you'd see in New York City that you can't really find anywhere else in town (not even at Phipps!) - Tom Ford, Dior, Theory, COS, etc. I actually prefer the stuff here versus the stuff at the aforementioned places. Come here to window shop or blow some big bucks. They actually have decent promotions here - this weekend (and the next few weekends) - they are offering a $100 gift card for every $500 you spend (up to 2 gift cards per person). Now if you're actually into luxury goods, you'd know that this is an amazing deal, given stuff like Hermes, Dior, Louboutin, etc... doesn't go on sale. This place is sinful, but so satisfying at the same time. Kind of like when I ate that massive greasy brunch before coming here. Parking can be validated at any store in the complex. read more

My first time coming here yesterday September 3 for Labor Day weekend. We enjoyed windowshopping couldn't buy a thing lol because it's so expensive but it's a really nice area to walk around and eat. read more

Holy wow. Talk about some serious swank, folks. Buckhead Atlanta is not at all what I thought it was going to be. I was expecting more of a structural behemoth which mirrored something like that of Atlantic Station, but it was way more surreptitious on the approach. I guess I was surprised to find I was actually on the grounds of Buckhead Atlanta. I passed by expensive shop after expensive shop and then made my way into the parking garage. I was on my way over to Corso Coffee for a meeting and it was really cool to walk around a bit and see what was open during the day. As soon as I emerged from the elevator, I found myself next to Thirteen Pies and Warby Parker. I took a quick walk around and got to see a ton of the other shops/restaurants -- fancy clothiers/haberdasheries, Shake Shack, Le Bilboquet, American Food and Beverage, and a few others. It is gorgeous and the layout is way cooler than I expected. Pretty fun to explore. Now, one thing I was really impressed with was the parking situation. The staff was so nice and the garage was super clean, easy to navigate, and the parking spaces were pretty generous. Not at all what I expected. Really dig what they have going on here. Looking forward to coming back for a meal and walking around a bit more. read more

I work in The Shops Buckhead Atlanta area. So I'm here every day. It's a cool place. This place used to be the Buckhead strip where all the bars and dance clubs used to be. Ah the good old days when I used to party here every weekend. When I first came here, I was surprised how much it changed. I could not recognize it. Instead of skanky girls and drunk frat boys roaming the streets throwing up, we have a much cleaner, luxury area in Buckhead. It transformed from Bourbon St to Rodeo Dr. I've had an opportunity to try most of the restaurants such as Capital Grille, Fado's, Qing Mu, La Bilboquet, Shake Shack, and possibly others I've forgotten or closed. It's sad to say, but the best place to eat is Shake Shack. Everything is overpriced and/or the food tastes mediocre. For parking, you can park or valet. These are some crazy, tight-fitting parking decks. I would say these are the worst designed parking decks I've seen. Watch out for the huge islands and columns that can damage your car. This place is new and feels safe. There are security guards everywhere. The whole area is laid out nice. It looks clean and high-end, just like their shops. The area is laid out nice. It feels pretty trendy and high class. There's a lot of high end boutiques like Hermes, Dior, Tom Ford, and Moncler. They're all mid to high end. If you want to shop here make sure your credit card has a large limit. read more

Swwwwaaaaaaankkkkyyyyyy. This is definitely the creme de la creme of shopping in Atlanta, the offerings include Hermes - which is undoubtedly the pinnacle of the shopping center, Diptique, and a handful of restaurants including the much anticipated Shake Shack. Overall, I have to say I'm very impressed - I like the setup and look - it's easily navigated and the staff is so friendly! It definitely beats the blank stares and careless attitudes of the staff at Atlantic Station. If you're looking for high end shopping and fancy eats, this is the place to be. It's already bustling, and only half the tenants are moved in! read more

Oh, such a disappointment. Yes, there are swanky shops but it seemed down to earth, which I really liked. There is quite a bit of construction going on, but there were lots of people there - mostly to eat at the eateries with their families; read lots of loud kids. Seemed more like a rodeo than Rodeo Drive. Lol. And this I liked. Stuffiness and snootiness annoy me. So what was the problem? The STENCH!!! The section near Pharr Rd smelled like raw sewage. Yuck! I couldn't stomach the smell. My guess is that a pipe burst or maybe the toilets were...malfunctioning. I couldn't imagine shopping (read: browsing) in such stinky conditions. Nauseous, I rushed to leave, puzzled by the experience! read more

Buckhead Atlanta is a nice, upscale shopping center located in Buckhead, of course. It is full of fine retail establishments, many of which I have never even heard of. But those that I have include Hermes, Jimmy Choo, and La Perla, for example. I can almost guarantee you that I will never shop in this shopping center. LOL. I have, however, eaten and drank here. First visit was to Shake Shack and Fado Irish Pub. Second visit was for a Yelp event a Doraku. Third visit was to Georgetown Cupcake. The dining establishments are definitely more up my alley. The complex is clean - gotta be if you want the level of clientele that will keep these shops open. There are several parking options - self, valet, and meter. Appears that parking rates may have changed since some of these reviews were written. Here is what I found on the website. Self Parking: 0-3 hours - Complimentary parking with validation from any store or restaurant. No purchase necessary. Normal self parking rate of $3.00 applies without validation. 3-5 hours - $8 5-Max - $20 Valet: 0-5 hours (Lunch)* - $5 0-5 hours (Dinner) - $7 5-Max - $20 * = First 2 Hours Complimentary, if arriving before 2pm Buckhead Atlanta is located in a very busy area of Buckhead. What am I saying? All of Buckhead is insanely busy. It is right of Peachtree which is a highly trafficked road. Which makes going here a bit of a hassle for me. Definitely would prefer odd, off hours. Even though this place is lovely, I couldn't give more than 3 stars to a shopping center what is so out of touch with me personally and the majority of Atlantans. That being said, a perfect fit for Buckhead. read more

Love it! Best shopping area feels like Beverly Hills or Bal Harbour Mall in South Florida. First time I felt totally safe in Atlanta in a long time! First Class Shopping and eating in the Capital City of the South! read more

This place is sorely lacking in character and management. They lease to any business and have no concern for the residents that live in the community. We do not want to hear loud rap and club music being played all right at the Buckhead Art Gallery or The Regent. The area may as well be the same club zone it was before they added the retail stores. It would behoove the leasing management to be more considerate of the residents that live here. read more

The exhaust fumes on level two and three are overwhelming. The center refuses to turn on exhaust fans .

Our vehicle was booted at this parking lot. We believe the signage at the parking lot was insufficient to warn of booting, and that it is not in compliance with the city ordinance. So, beware. We will not be doing any shopping at the Shops Around Lenox because of the questionable booting practices. read more

Great addition to Atlanta, despite the very unoriginal name. It's akin to developing a project in Beverly Hills and calling it "Beverly Hills." Still, it is a nice combination of high-end stores and restaurants in a unique outdoor setting. Our favorite additions are Helmut Lang and Theory. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Atlanta. read more
