    Chattahoochee Works

The Works is located off of Chattahoochee Avenue. This is super easy to locate. This uses the Parkmobile app for parking. The first 2 hours are free. You must log into the app even though it is free to avoid getting a ticket. There is plenty of parking in this plaza where it is located. There are shopping and food options. I went to check out the food hall. I was surprised by the variety of food options. There were so many great places to eat. I did try out 2 places. I can't wait to come back and try some more food places. I hope the empty store fronts get filled. I think this is a great location with room for growth.

Visited the Works yesterday for the first time, and it was a delightful experience. There are several great options of restaurants and we were both able to find something new to try. The venue itself is well kept and inviting. There are lots of places to sit and the decor is really nice. We're going to revisit on a night with live music. Parking was super reasonable, 4-hours for $10.....however, DO NOT back in, they'll ticket you. Thankfully, we were warned in advance.

This is such a cute place with lots of different types of restaurants. You can find anything from sushi to Philly cheesesteaks to ramen to bbq to soul food. & desserts like cookies, cake, & ice cream. There's also a bar! One place has moscato slushies & they are actually really good! Overall I was very pleased. The sushi place was amazing & id highly recommend. The Philly place was also real good. We had both the chicken & the steak & they both delivered on flavor. The only disappointment was the soul food place. Their wait was so long (like over 30 minutes) & the food just wasn't worth the wait. Everything lacked seasoning. The chicken was fried very well and cooked to perfection, but there was just no flavor. The collard greens were not good at all. They were so bitter. The fried tomatoes was so oily & also lacked flavor. The macaroni & cheese was a saving grace, as it was the only thing that delivered. Overall though this place is a gem and I can't wait to get back to try more restaurants!

This is Atlanta's newest food hall and shopping center in the Upper Westside historic industrial district of the city, a huge space with another 27 acres yet to be developed. If you're searching for that perfect piece for your home, you'll surely have luck at Ballard Designs, Bobo, or Adelina Social Goods. You can expect to find a plethora of eating choices, including Asian, Mexican, Italian, American, Cuban, a couple of cookie shops, and ice cream bar. I hit Sakura Ramen Bar for a Smoked Tonkatsu bowl. The smoked pork broth with black garlic oil was delicious! Served with two generous pieces of chasu pork, nori, slivered woodear mushrooms, scallions, bean sprouts, charred bok choy, lots of thin noodles, and one whole marinated egg, it completely filled me up. I added a chili bomb made from the very hot ghost pepper. As you can imagine, the entire space has an industrial vibe with tons of indoor seating as well as open and covered outdoor tables as well. Take a peak at the fabulous butterfly mural by the cornhole field! A parking deck is available in addition to the large parking lot. You can catch live music at The Camp during the summer. Bring the whole family. There's something for everyone!

So fun going here- go to scofflaw and get a beer then walk around and taste the food! Bahn mi station was amazing! The people were so kind and apologized that the first time they ran out of food (expected since there were so many people) We've also tried the sushi spot and got an extra free roll! You are paying a premium price Walking around was enjoyable- looking forward to more shops and restaurants to open up

I have been coming to The Works weekly since I discovered it! I've tried several of the restaurants in the food hall, my favorites are the Philly cheesesteak place, the Ramen place, monster cookies, and the Boba tea place. I live around the corner so it's a really convenient place to come and work instead of being in the house all day. They have a full bar inside and outside and Scofflaw Brewing opened a location here as well so plenty of places to get a drink. They also have free charging for electric vehicles which is a huge plus for me! They have activities at "The Camp" on the weekends which is also really cool. I went to goat yoga couple of months ago which was an awesome experience and they gave us free breakfast as well!

New food court in a warehouse - awesome vibes! We tried a few places here: Dash & Chutney, TydeTate Kitchen Comfort Thai, and an empanadas place, and Unbelibubble. Dash & Chutney (Indian): Beat Bobby Flay chik'n curry with cumin rice - Bowl of rice topped with chicken curry - I liked the curry, but the rice was a little on the moist side, which I wasn't expecting. I think this one was okay. Comfort Thai: Sweet chili crispy tofu, Beef panang curry - We loved both of these items! The crispy tofu came with the sweet chili sauce and peanuts sprinkled on top. Great appetizer. We LOVED the beef curry! On the spicy side, but not firey spicy. They gave us plenty of beef in the curry, which we appreciated. And the curry comes separately from the rice so that you can use as little or as much as you'd like. Empanadas: We tried the spinach (spinach, mushrooms, onions, mozzarella), caprese (Mozzarella, tomato, basil), and butternut squash (roasted squash, caramelized onion, mozzarella) + coconut pastry + bottled water (they had a combo deal!) - Of these empanadas, I liked the butternut squash the most, as it was sweet and savory at the same time. The squash was so soft, too! And cheesy. Can't complain. Spinach was my least favorite (although I still enjoyed it!), as it was a little saltier than I'd expected. We then topped off our meal with boba - I got matcha, and my friend got jasmine tea. The match was very rich! They put so much matcha powder in there! I loved it. Jasmine tea was great, too! Parking: There is a parking garage next to the complex! We went on a Saturday, and it got pretty busy around lunch time!

The new trend of food halls are exploding here in the US so while I'm in Atlanta, I have to visit "The Works". It's a mix of a bunch small food stations, full size restaurants/bars, and merchandise stores located in a few small buildings that are group together. The buildings itself are modern brick architecture type which are pretty cool. There is also a camp site outside for the kids to enjoy. My rating is based on the experience of the atmosphere and look of the buildings and grounds. But not the food, restaurants, or stores because there are not so good ones here. Place is very clean, gives you the option of walking outside and inside depending on your preference which allows you enjoy the many establishments available to try. People may have their favorite restaurants or stores but the main attraction is buildings and grounds.

My fist time visit The Works. It's located upper West side Atlanta. Lots of booths to be filled but still plenty of options to grab a bite & drink. Like Thai restaurant, Japanese restaurant, pizza, bakery full of goodies, cookie shop, Banmi restaurant, baked Kitchen, etc..OH!! Don't forget they have a huge bar the middle of food court!! Cute retail spaces have opened like Adelina Social Goods, BOBO Intriguing Objects and Ballard design. Scofflaw.brewing.co is cool places to hang out with your friend. They are for indoor and outdoor. They even have Les Mains Nail Bar. The place is so spacious, I feel comfortable looking around. I hope you visit new places and try something different. Enjoy your day~~~

On its surface, it looks like just another big box shopping center. However, it's smartly planned and has brought a lot of convenience to the neighborhood including one of Atlanta's rare Walmart stores within city limits. The District at Howell Mill opened in fall 2006, about a year after nearby Atlantic Station opened, so the two mixed-use developments are the same generation. The District is far smaller and less unique, but it still packs a punch. At the time of writing this review, some of the big name retail tenants include: * GameStop * Office Depot * Petsmart * TJ Maxx * Ulta * Verizon * Walmart And some of the restaurant/cafe tenants include: * Extreme Teriyaki * La Parrilla * Starbucks * Subway * Which Wich The lineup is filled with chains which is hardly exciting stuff, but it's much better than what was here before which was nothing. As a homeowner in Atlantic Station, which has a Publix and a Target within short walking distance of my home, I still find myself regularly coming to The District (Walmart) to get groceries and household supplies because of better prices, selection, and convenience (one-stop shopping). Surprisingly, I've found the produce at Walmart to be consistently stocked and fresh. Aesthetically speaking, the shopping center is nicely designed. It's well-integrated into the neighborhood and not imposing. Instead of large, freestanding, cookie-cutter buildings with huge asphalt lots, which are a dime a dozen in the suburbs, The District conceals its big box retailers (e.g. Walmart, TJ Maxx, Ulta) from street view. There's multilevel parking and it's plentiful. I haven't been to another Walmart that offers covered parking. Over the years, the property has been maintained and has held up well. I've been a customer to several of the businesses at The District and have generally been satisfied. My favorite optometrist, Dr. Kim Raharja, works at the Atlanta Eye Center (inside the Walmart) on-site. I've also known and visited folks who live (or have lived) at the Alexander at the District apartment community, also on-site. The apartments seemed fine. The District is located right next to I-75 at Howell Mill Road (exit 252B).

You can think of it as Brookhaven's version of Atlantic Station or Avalon. It's got shops, restaurants, bars, a grocery store (Publix), department store (Marshalls), movie theater (CineBistro), and homes. It's a self-contained community inside the perimeter (ITP). I've been to Town Brookhaven several times over the years to visit businesses like Bua (Thai and sushi), Newk's Eatery, Noche (tapas, now closed), the Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub, and Yogurtland. I've had a friend who lived at the Windsor at Brookhaven (apartments). These days, I mainly visit Town Brookhaven to go to Costco (opened October 28, 2010). At the time of writing this review, Town Brookhaven's Costco is one of only two Costco warehouses located in Atlanta ITP. The Costco at Cumberland Mall is practically located on the perimeter. Both have gas stations and are good places to fill up due to relatively cheap prices for Top Tier fuel. In general, I think this development is fine. The property is clean. It's huge at 600,000 square feet. The design is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The buildings look modern. There are wide sidewalks, airy patios, nice landscaping, stately brick roads, and traffic circles. There's deck parking and surface level parking. This is a popular place with lots of tenants so parking may be hard to come by during peak periods. Ultimately, I've never had an issue finding parking here. Outside of perhaps Costco, I'm not sure Town Brookhaven has any shops, restaurants, or other businesses that really set it apart from other shopping centers, malls, or mixed-use developments or make it a real destination in metro Atlanta.
