On response to my call a representative immediately came out (on a Saturday) to assess the situation and promised a crew mid morning on Monday. At the start of the Monday morning a crew was here setting up a giant crane and chipper. The tree was expertly picked up from the back - swung over the house and into the chipper area. All the mess was quickly removed and big logs set aside. A few hours later a second team arrived to remove all the large logs and remaining trunk. Site was perfectly clean and cut to below grade. No collateral damage and a job well done. Totally impressive and highly recommended.

Finally we were given a date of 2/6, and it got changed to 2/7. My car was moved at the time requested by them. They had their equipment taking up spaces ALL DAY LONG. Finally i see them over by the tree at 1:30 pm. I'm thinking YAY, Finally! Only to get home 2 hours later to find out they didn't touch the branch. They claimed they "ran out of time". We were told they would come back the next day as long as they had space for equipment, THEY DID HAVE PLENTY OF SPACE. They never came back. Its one BRANCH that needs to be cut. ONE. We have no idea when they will be back. And good luck to me with tomorrow's noreaster coming, lets hope the branch come down from the weight of the snow onto my son or myself. Horrible company. Do better Mayer Tree. I do believe its time to call someone else. You clearly cannot get the job done. If your excuse is going to be that no one moved their cars where you started, and you had to wait for them to move, maybe you should have started with the area where cars were ACTUALLY MOVED.

Today the crew appeared early in the morning to shape and prune a beautiful Japanese maple tree which is the focal point of the yard. It is absolutely beautiful now and also more healthy due to their expertise in shaping and pruning this tree, which my grandfather and I planted together when I was about 4 years old.
