Impressive entry, professional sign in, beautiful piano in lobby and great food! I'd love to live here when I need to downsize.

I have more than 10 years of experience in wound care and taking care of a double amputee as well as doing the Hoyer lift. I was told someone would email and call me even if I didn't get the job. Nobody emailed me nobody called me I called them nobody answered. I thought the staff was nice the place was clean the residence outside they were playful and friendly. They probably didn't call me back because I told the front staff that a man in a wheelchair started to roll away he kept saying he wanted to leave and they asked if a staff member was outside guess someone is supposed to sit with them and no one was.

I applied online, but the receptionist told me I had to reapply in person on paper. After taking 10 minutes to fill out all the pages, I was then told to wait another 20 minutes for someone to come see me. After 20 minutes, I was told to go home and somebody would call me to reschedule because they were busy. I got a phone call a couple days later about my application, and they said they would reconnect with me in a week. It overall seemed so unorganized and not respectful of my time whatsoever. Do not apply or waste your time here.

F-tags are deficiency codes linked to 42 CFR Part 483 of Federal law. The last inspection was done in November of last year. Solera of West Houston was fined over 17 thousand dollars after this inspection and, since 2021, has been fined more than 107 thousand dollars for violations. Trust scale is an F rating for this facility. This is not the fault of the nurses and other personnel there. This is due to serious understaffing of the facility, resulting in their not being able to keep up with the work load given to them. Solera of West Houston is owned by Cantex Continuing Care LLC, a for profit private equity firm which puts profit above patients, as well as above employees, and is not much better than a hedge fund, given its results. My wife will be home in another week, but she will remember the treatment she got there for the rest of her life. Again, this is not the fault of the staff there, but of the corporation which owns the facility, and looking to maximize its profits at any cost.

Her prognosis was grim at first, but she is exceeding their expectations and is now on to skilled nursing here at the rehab. I was told it is called TIRR, but nowhere on the building does it state this so don't let that confuse you. The facility is easy to find, parking is a breeze and navigating through the building is simple with everything marked so well. During my visit, I was pleased with the cleanliness, attentiveness, responsiveness and overall room layout. She is in a private room with a private bathroom. I'm not sure if all rooms are private. A schedule is given to the patient each night with what is expected/planned for the next day. The goal is for her (and all patients) to get better and stronger, so I like the planned therapy and for her to know what is expected of her to achieve the results needed. I've heard excellent feedback from other people about this place. Everything I have read and now seen/experienced is A+++. My friend even said the food was good. The Houston Metroplex is home to fantastic healthcare and I think this is another representation to that statement. Anyone going through tough situations like this, my blessings to you. Stay strong.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. This place needs to be shut down!…read more My experience there was worse than anyone could ever imagine. The social worker and the director of hospitality both are there only for the paycheck. They do not care about the patients at all! My husband had a terrible experience. I just wish I would have known what I know now. My husband was there only a few months ago and I DO NOT believe they have changed for the better as they reply that to eveyone that gives them a negative review! They meds were continued to be given incorrectly, they broke his glasses and would not replace, they lost his wrist brace that he was required to wear as he came in with a broken wrist. I could go on and on but these are some of the more serious actions that happened there. I never got updates on his rehab. He was home 6 hours and fell again and ended back in ER. I do not believe he was ready to be released! They want to admit patients, collect their money and move them on. The patients are not cared for at all Please please consider other places over this awful place!!! You will regret it if you put a loved one there.

With any facility, the staff support goes up and down, and we were fortunate to have caring staff at the time of our visit. We were impressed by the hands-on Physical Therapy in the gym room I did stay overnight the first night with my family member and found that staff were there to keep an eye on the residents Appreciate the care for my family member from all the staff. Being in the medical profession, we had a positive experience with short-term rehab here

Our experience has been a solid 10 with every aspect of the community, and we wouldn't necessarily qualify as easy to please. Residents are genuinely enjoying their retirement here and there is a relaxed, friendly culture. There is an impressive range of activities, classes, interest groups and entertainment. Having spent a 40-yr career in healthcare, I asked to tour the assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing units. All reflected high quality care in immaculately clean, homelike surroundings.
