An associate by the name of Mike F., has been an excellent resource in helping me in a couple of very important projects. Today was no exception. I'm building a new shop in my back yard and since the shop has a loft, I needed someone to help me put together a plan for a pully system a little more complicated than just a basic system. Explaining to Mike what I was wanting to accomplish, he completely understood that this wasn't just a basic shop I was building and that I wanted to add a little more "cool factor" to the hatch lid system. Probably not a big deal to many, but for some of us, it helps to display our craftsmanship a little better. Mike, who has excellent people skills, takes great pride in his personal appearance and writes with a fountain pen, is very unique and really stands out in today's world of business associates. He started building the system as we spoke and as we were gathering materials, he explained not only the how, but the whys behind every piece while putting it together. In the end, I had a much better, robust and cooler pulley system than I had originally imagined, and it's going to be an awesome addition to the shop. Thanks Mike! Today turned out to be a great one.

This was going to be a good experience, right? When I went in, the consignment lady was so rude when I asked a few more questions and kept saying, "Well you didn't talk to me about this! I don't answer the phones on Saturday." Dropped off several things, she rejected almost all of them. I hope the 1 or 2 items she kept sell quickly, as I will never do business with her again.

I do not live locally and was only in town for a short period of time handling the estate, so timing and communication were important. The home contains quality furnishings, including a Taylor King sectional, a custom Vanguard dresser, a large Restoration Hardware rug, and other high-end items. After nearly three weeks of back-and-forth communication, they finally were going to come out on March 13 and picked up only two items--a sideboard and a rug. To my surprise, after our conversation with the driver on his way, they then declined the rug. I decided to tell him not to even come, and I would not be doing business with them and that their business structure was extremely unprofessional and excruciatingly painful to deal with. During prior communication, they asked what price I hoped to get for the rug. I suggested $800 for a $3000 rug as a starting point, fully acknowledging that I did not expect to recover what I originally paid. I specifically asked for their professional input since this is their business and they know the resale market. Instead of providing guidance, I was simply told my price "wasn't their happy price." That was the extent of the explanation. The entire process was unnecessarily frustrating. Communication is routed through a receptionist who acts as a gatekeeper, making it impossible to speak directly with the person actually making the consignment decisions. Everything is filtered through short emails or secondhand messages, which creates confusion and delays. For a business that relies on consignors bringing them quality merchandise, the lack of transparency, poor communication, and inefficient process is surprising. Clearing out an estate is already difficult, and this experience only made it more frustrating. I would not recommend working with this company. Their communication structure and overall business approach are not consumer-friendly.

The counter person I spoke told me that they did not have a line card listing the manufacturers that they carry, nor could he tell me the top manufacturers they stock. It's going to be hard to sell product if you don't know what you carry! I will look at doing business with another distributor or purchase from Las Vegas - Get With It Saint George!

I brought in the paint to this store and they were kind enough to shake it up and open it and they let me know it seemed fine for the touch ups I needed.
