I am a small cottage business baker and make delicious biscotti, but I wanted to compare mine with a professional baker's product. I'm very disappointed! The biscotti is bland, almost tasteless. And one person I asked to sample it wondered how old it was! No one would try more than one bite. I'm too embarrassed to even give it away. It went in the trash, and Im out $50! read more

Purchased an assortment of 20 online and they arrived quickly with a nice presentation. My husband and I have been enjoying them tremendously. We only live a few minutes from their honor stand and just saw on their site that they sell to two local markets that we frequent often too, so we'll definitely be getting more. It's February and therefore we unfortunately missed the two seasonal flavors of pumpkin pecan and chocolate mint, which is a bummer because I'm sure they're delicious too. We'll have to look for those around the holidays. Love the flavors we've tried so far. read more

I suppose if you buy local they are great however I order mine to be shipped. Twice I have had shipping delays and the last time the product was shipped and received a ruined melted chocolate mess. I do jot blame the shipper entirely as I order chocolates from nuts.com and produce from out of state all are shipped priority and in cooled containers. BCB does neither of those things when shipping. So beware of what you order and what time of year. Especially if you order online. Lost me as a customer. read more

Worth the drive!!!! The honor stand has huge bags of fresh biscotti for only $5 - there were 6 flavors available, we couldn't decide so we bought one of each! They were all delicious, we all had different favorites depending on our preferred tastes. My favorite was the Sea salt dark chocolate for the salty/sweet, my second favorite is the cranberry walnut, it had delicious cinnamon flavor. I personally didn't love any of the classic flavors but only because there was caraway seeds in it which I don't like, but my friend loved it. I love the family story behind this company. I am so lucky to live near something so special! If you are in Bucks county area, take a drive through some farm land and grab some bags you won't be disappointed or order online! read more

I loved everything about the Bucks County Biscotti experience. From country drive to Hilltown, to the outdoor unattended kiosk stand where the the six count bags of four different flavor biscotti are housed, to the thin metal slot where the money is slid to complete the transaction, to the anticipation of dunking that first hand cut hard cookie into fresh brewed hot Java in preparation for a delicious first bite - it was a full and exceptional delight. Almost as breathless as that last sentence. These works of baker art are at the apex of biscotti culture. Only once before have I had the pleasure. My father-in-law at the time was a professional auto mechanic and amateur Italian baker in Trenton, NJ. When he wasn't deadlifting transmissions into cars at the garage, he was home loving his large family and perfecting the skill of being maistro di biscotti. His hands were amazing, with the calloused gentle knowing touch of mixing and kneading the dough to the right consistency and taste, before placing them in the old oven at the precise temperature and for the exact time needed to produce the best biscotti I had ever eaten. I tried this years ago from my brother but never got a true taste since he had a giant broken bag of pieces. I always wanted to go but never made the trek to Perkasie for myself. I did the other night: we went at almost 9 pm and all the flavors were fully stocked! I got two bags, the chocolate salted toffee and the pumpkin pecan ! Both flavors were delicious although I think I'm slightly partial the pumpkin, which is sad since it's a seasonal flavor. The salted toffee got better within the week- if that's even possible. Each bag holds maybe a dozen pieces are so and two bags lasted my family about a week (we liked it - a lot). I cannot wait to try other flavors out ! If you are not local I know many bakeries in Bucks county (and beyond) stock their biscotti - if you want to try it out ! read more

The best biscotti in Bucks County and beyond! There is something about the hard crunch on the outside and softness on the inside that puts all other biscotti to shame. As a local, I love the honor stand and visit often. For $5 you get a bag of the "wounded" biscotti and each bag has around a dozen pieces or so inside. You can't beat it! We live in CA, so we haven't gotten to visit in person, but just stumbled upon this company, and ordered online. So happy we did! We ordered the 40 Biscotti package, and picked the flavors we wanted inside. They were just delivered, exactly the way we ordered, and all the little details are so appreciated . #1. Huge box with a bunch of protective peanuts, keeping the smaller box safe = nothing was broken! #2. Inside the smaller box, Each flavor was wrapped up tightly so again, nothing was broken. #3. We had to try a bite of a few of the flavors, of course, and everything was sooooo delicious. Fresh, and just exactly what you'd hope for from a favorite family run bakery. #4. I'd called them to ask a question before ordering, and they were friendly, patient & very helpful. Overall, we are so impressed with the care that was taken in getting these from PA to CA. I make my own biscotti and I love MY HOMEBAKED biscotti! BUT ... THESE BISCOTTI are my grandmother's biscotti. Took me back to NYC and Nonna.
