The evening started perfectly with their signature homemade biscuit, followed by the chive popcorn. For the courses, we enjoyed a prawn, then a rich and tender beef cheek with Brussels sprouts, a beautifully cooked dayboat halibut, and finally duck. We ended on a sweet note with a refreshing sorbet and then a warm apple cake paired with homemade cinnamon ice cream. If you noticed, its more than 4 courses with a few kitchen additions! Every dish was delicious and expertly prepared. The Maize staff once again worked seamlessly in tandem, serving each course at just the right pace -- never rushed, never slow. Our room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, providing a high-end yet cozy place to rest after the show. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant before the concert, and the breakfast the next morning (included with our stay) was great. If you are seeing a show at the theater, do yourself a favor and stay here--this is a very enjoyable stay and a place I'd happily return to, especially if attending an event at the theater.
