    Sweet Delights gift basket
    Tara H.

My parents live nearby Tabora Farms and love their country store and baked goods. I recently sent my mom their Sweet Delights gift basket, and she was really happy with it! She said it was a very large basket and that the baked goods, teas, and preserves have all been very tasty. The basket was delivered on time as well.

    Jumbled bread

Hi. I've been a customer for years and I'm questioning whether I should continue. A week or so back I bought the small pumpkin walnut loaf. The sides of the bread tasted like Pam or some kind of grease for the pan. And today I went and purchased a loaf of the rosemary bread among other things and the clerk asked me if I wanted it sliced, and I said yes. She then proceeded to hand me back the loaf all disheveled and without at least four pieces from the ends. I asked her why she wasn't giving me the entire loaf and she said "well, it didn't fit." She tried several bags before that and managed to tear up a few pieces. She then got some gloves and shoved the pieces in. It wasn't exactly the presentation you expect when you're paying bakery prices. I think that your services have really declined and wonder why you aren't paying attention to training. NOTE: I sent a private message on Facebook and got no response for days.

Definitely a local gem. I frequent peace valley Park and did a quick Google search of the area to see what else was around and noticed good reviews for this place from the outside. It's charming like a local farmstand when you walk inside the fresh donuts, abundance of homemade cookies and pastries, along with local cheeses and fresh fruits Was very impressive. They're also connected to an orchard so it's the closest pick your own in Bucks County. I can find the wiring area away from Pennview Farm, which is an excellent place to pick up dairy products from their dairy operation, including ice cream, fresh milk in the glass recommended.

As the leaves turn colors, what better way to enjoy autumn than with some apple picking? There are 13 acres to choose from. Afterward, you can enjoy a warm apple cider and apple cider donut, along with sweet confections while sipping a cup of coffee on their outdoor seating. If you're feeling adventurous, they offer a zombie hayride on Friday nights. You'll be equipped with paintball guns to light up the night.

I was fortunate enough to sample many of their baked goods at a recent corporate event they were featured in. Let's just say their table was quite crowded with my co-workers snapping up their goodies. I managed to get mine early before the real rush happened. When I brought them home and finally tore into them, it was a holy s**t moment! So they make this cream filled donut. I think it's their cream puff. It's built like a cream donut sandwich with a ton of rich cream between two perfectly fluffy pastries. Hell, who cares what it's called? I just know it's one of the most heavenly things I've had in a while. It somehow managed to be rich and comforting without being sickeningly sweet. Perfectly balanced. Also, my family is currently addicted to the cheddar ranch pretzels. I know there's so much more here to try. And I have a few more items to go through. I've also tasted the sugar cookies and loved them. But based on what I've had already, it's clear this place is a gem.

We stayed at an AirBnB near this farm, and little did we know it has everything you could ask for. Apple picking? Check. Pumpkins? Check. Pies, cookies, breads, and all other sorts of homemade goodies? Check. Made to order sandwiches? Check. Outdoor seating and clean restrooms? Check and check! We were so pleasantly surprised that we have no doubt we will actually plan trips around stopping by here in the future. Or maybe just a day trip. That's how good this place is.

    Chocolate chip cookies!

Hands down our favorite chocolate chip cookies. All their cookies are delicious but it's difficult for me to buy others when these are so amazing!

This is an amazing place to take your kids. There is a sandpit with plenty of toys. Playground. Piglets. Bunnies. Yummy food. I mean what more could you ask for? The mystery kids really loved it here and look forward to our next trip over esp for the yummy food and snacks!!

Very good cider donuts, and other pastries. Orchard fruits are good when in season. I really enjoyed the whipped cream puff.

First off, there were two people behind the counter, a young man and an older woman. I have never seen either one of them before. Usually, the staff wears green smock-style aprons with "The Larder" printed across the chest. These two people were not wearing aprons. When I got up to the register, I asked about a specific product's availability and was looked at like I was from another planet. I asked again and was given a quick, non direct, somewhat of an answer. Then after I paid, I said "thank you", to which both employees stood silent and turned away. No "you're welcome", no "have a nice day". That is definitely not the normal there. Also, I was not given a bag- I had to struggle carrying my purchases to the car. I hope the original owner is alright and was just off for the day. If today was any indication of how the store will be from now on, I think I will shop elsewhere. I hate to say what an unpleasent experience I had, as I have always enjoyed shopping here.

Carrying spices that are not easily found. For me personally it's green peppercorns-a vital ingredient for a beef sauce Ii make for the holidays. When you walk into the shop you're stuck by the masses wave of the stock but the friendly staff is happy to help you find hat you're looking for. What speaks best for this store is that when asking in other places in Lahaska for the pepper corns several places said "try savory spices' that's right, they're referred by potential competitors as the place to go. Not a 'I can order them' but 'Try this place...' That says a lot about them. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a trip and you're going for something special, not general uses, I mean you can get paprika in the mega-mart. but for that odd ball spice, make the trip.

I have been ordering from Savory Spice for many years. Last year, they advertised a Black Friday…read moresale that simply said "Spend $100, Get $100". Great! It's the holidays, and these are good gifts. I purchased a gift set and waited for the code, which didn't come. Customer service informed me the $100 credit wouldn't be available until January. This was misleading when advertised as a "sale", but I figured I would wind up using the credits later on, and I went ahead and purchased another $100 gift bundle. Now I am trying to use the credits, and I've been informed that they are issued in $20 increments - ONE per order. I wrote to customer service because this is super inconvenient, but also prohibitive. Many of their items are more than $20. So anything I want to purchase over $20 (vanilla extract, gift sets, etc), the remainder has to be paid out of pocket by me despite having $200 in credit with the company. While they did send me a shipping code to use, they were entirely inflexible. Using the credits is labor intensive and restrictive to certain items, and I've had to go through and choose things based on price to add each cart up to $22, apply the codes, and then still pay the remainder. I'm extremely disappointed and I am no longer a Savory Spice customer. I will source herbs and spices from a company that values their customers and doesn't play cheesy games with "sales".

I'd been to one before in Tennessee, but I was too full from dinner to want to try anything. Today, we were at the King of Prussia mall for an errand and passed the Pepper Palace and I happened to be carrying a water bottle so we thought, why not? The highlight of this place would, of course, would be all of the hot sauces lined up along the middle of the store that are available for tasting. There are bins of tortilla chips provided to sample the various sauces and salsas, and it's a great way to try before you buy. Ingredients are listed too, so if you're allergic to tomatoes and need something carrot-based, it's easy to spot these sauces. Personally, I hate the taste of vinegar and opted to try everything that didn't have vinegar listed as the first ingredient. Unfortunately, that did limit my options quite a bit. Our favorites were the Tres Diablos and the Black Rose. We had to cut our visit short because we had to attend to our errand, but we'll be back to pick up one- or both- of those hot sauces. My only major complaint was that there weren't any that had a little pineapple with a strong heat (fruits mask vinegar taste). I want that hint of fruit, but I'd still like enough heat to regret eating it later. I wish you could submit requests for future hot sauces!
