Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great food! Perch was great and wings were awesome - hands down best in the area!

We showed up with 7 of family and friends. They had a big table ready for us and Christine greeted us promptly ready to take our drink orders. I liked how customizable the menu is. If you don't want a side you can order just a sandwich/burger. Crowd favorite was the brisket burger... wow wow so good. I'll be dreaming of that till I head up there again. Yummy pizza & burgers! We preferred the brisket burger over the steak burger. Overall good food!

Nice bar going north out of Eagle River. Ordered pizza and beer. The staff were very friendly and let us sit anywhere. The beer was very cold and hit the spot. The pizza was very good with generous portions of meat and vegetables. We took a few pieces home. Had it the next day for lunch, still had a nice chewy crust. read more

This was a great find in Eagle River! All refurbished since they opened a year ago in July, very clean. Friendly staff, serving good variety of draft beers, fast service. We shared the burger/brat patty combo; it was delicious and neither of us could have eaten the whole burger by ourselves. I had a side salad which was full of great topping and a large portion. Waited over 1/2 hour for a hamburger and a salad. They said there was a large crowd's order ahead of ours, but the only other table in there was 4 people. The hamburger/bratwurst sandwich was just ok. They charged extra $2 for grilled onions!!! I ordered the salad with the option of adding chicken for $3. The salad was fresh and had a nice lettuce variety and veggies. There were 5 cubes of chicken on my salad. I asked to speak to the manager on duty who came to the table "hey how ya doin'?" I showed him the chicken and he actually asked me if I had eaten some already. He showed me the size of the chicken breast with his hands and it definitely was much bigger than what was on my plate. I will say, the few pieces of chicken on my salad were very tasty. The waitress pleasant, but not trained well. Asked if I wanted more water and even though my husband's glass was half empty, she refilled them one at a time. Would not recommend this place! Manager needs training as well. read more

Stopped in or lunch and was quite disappointed with the service and food. The bartender was the server and he let us sit at the table and ignored us for quite a while finally I got up and asked for menus. It probably wasn't his fault because he said he was new and it looked like he was just thrown into the fire without much training. I ordered the burger special and asked for it medium when it came it was well past medium in fact it was well done and dry. I ate about two bites and that was all I could stomach. Unfortunately the bartender never came back to check up on anything or refill our empty drinks. He gave us our bill and when I mentioned the burger he said he was sorry but didn't do anything about it. The manager who was sitting at the bar with his computer didn't seem to care either. Will not be back anytime soon!! read more

Had an awesome lunch at Buckshot's with the family. Tried the brisket burger, homemade pizza, walleye fingers, and the Mahi-mahi special. French fries were seasoned and the homemade chips make it a hard choice between chips or fries. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. This review is a bit late, but one that I need to Post. Our family of 5 adults had a couple of beers at the Tribute, in which one of the owners said Buckshots has pretty good pizza. I can tell you that was a great recommendation......We were luck as we got at the end of the bar in which they have a kickoff part of the bar so we were all close when we were drinking and had the pizza. Bar is very clean and orderly, and the bartender took very good care of us, with not only the meal but the apps, and meal. I got a chance to talk with the owner, and said I was very impressed and he was so thankful. I wish this place continued success as the night we were there it was fairly busy, but not overwhelming read more

This review is for the new location on East Wall Street. We came in for lunch, a group of 7 kids and 6 adults. Started off great, we were greeted at the door and sat immediately. We took awhile to order but our waitress checked on us frequently and got our drinks quickly. It went downhill from there. The kitchen is incredibly slow. We ordered 3 cheese curds and it took forever just to get those. I'd say 30ish minutes. Then it took forever and ever to get our entrees. We ordered a thin crust cheese pizza for the grandkids and they definitely ate it because they were starving by this point. My mom sat with the grandkids and she said it was unevenly cooked. Half was perfect and the other half was over cooked. I have NEVER sent back my meal at a restaurant but I sent back my "gourmet grilled cheese." The biggest problem is that it wasn't cooked, at all. The bread looked like buttered bread and the cheese was barely melted. It was cold and soggy. I ordered this because the description said it was on sourdough bread (my fav) and this was definitely not sour dough. It was thick white bread. Perhaps too thick to properly melt the cheese. So I sent it back and it, again, took forever to get my replacement. The replacement wasn't any better. The rest of my party was done eating so I got it to go. I ate half the sandwich cause I was hungry not because there was any satisfaction in the taste. Now this is the worst part...my mother took my 4 year old nephew to the women's bathroom to go. We heard him scream. Turns out, the water knobs were reversed (hot on the right, cold on the left). He turned the right knob and the water was hot hot and he screamed in pain. The other location on 45 advertises homemade kettle chips. Not sure if this location does as well (I couldn't find any info on the internet) but I had a seat that could see into the kitchen and they dumped chips onto the plates from store bought chip bags. One positive, the price was right. I suggest more wait staff and help in the kitchen. read more

Good Fish fry, the service by Ashley was responsive, in fact she anticipated what we wanted. In spite of a group of 15 we were brought drinks and water and appetizers in a timely manner. She apologized for the delay on the entry but as our group was large it was acceptable. read more

I have passed this bar for at least 15 years and have never stopped in. A few days ago I told my wife that we needed to stop in just to say we have been there. WELL,,,,what a pleasant surprise, beautiful brand new interior with a new patio on the side, I wish we would have visited during the start of our 10 days rather than the last 2 days. This is currently our favorite sports bar in Eagle River. Food-sandwiches, pizza, homemade chips-all are good and wait staff and management are friendly. They have drawings for prizes after every quarter during Packers games. read more

Went there on a recommendation. The atmosphere was very nice and clean. Large bar with about 12 tables. Server was nice and friendly. That was the good part of the restaurant. Now about the food...we ordered the Friday night fish fry. You have the option of 3,4 or 5 pieces of fish. The pieces were very, very small. They were more dry than moist. It came with coleslaw, baked beans, fries and a half slice of dry rye bread. The beans came in a plastic dish, they were warm, not hot. They had a good flavor, but were not served at the right temperature. The mayonnaise based coleslaw was served almost as warm as the beans. We did not eat the slaw because we were afraid of getting food poisoning not knowing how long it went unrefrigerated. The fries were served nice and hot. The tartar sauce was also served warm. When this was brought up to our server, she blamed it on the fact that someone didn't show up for work. Really? That's the excuse for not serving food at the right temperature? Very disappointed with this place! read more

Stopped in on a Sunday night for pizza after reading about them in the Three Lakes News. The place was busy! Sat at the bar after some kind people moved to fit us in. Honestly the best pizza we have had in the northwoods. Ordered a 16" thin sausage pizza and french fries with the pizza. We noticed there was a ton of food coming out of the kitchen with many orders going to pick up/take away customers. We enjoyed a couple of drinks before the food arrived. I had a Lakefront IPA and my lady had wine. Our food came in no time at all. The pizza was done to perfection and loaded with sausage and the crinkle cut fries were crispy, hot and delicious! Our bar tender was great too, she watched everyones drink glasses like a hawk and made sure all had what they needed. When she saw everyone was taken care of she got out her cleaning stuff and wiped down the bar and cleaned stuff up. The owners son was managing that night and made sure everything was running smooth. He also was constantly cleaning when he was caught up with other duties. (I love it! Lead by example!!!) So overstating the obvious, the place was clean. The food and service was great. The bar, dining area and bathrooms have recently been remodeled, everything looked new and tastfully done. We absolutely love this place and can't wait to try the rest of the menu. read more
