Parking has been consistently stubborn. The parking garage I used on my visit today, North Garage on Tuesday 24 March 2026, had themed levels. I opted for the C Level which was color of pink and animal of cow. At the elevator, a cow "moo" sounded when I pressed the button for the elevator. By this level, more spaces were opened up, so a better day for parking of recent times. Walkways in the village are open to the natural elements. Some of the businesses have umbrellas available for use in shopping. The grounds and pedestrian spaces have tended to be clean in my experiences. In 2010 and 2011 when I was a student at the University of Washington, I walked to University Village so parking was a non-issue, those were quicker turn around in time visits though I did not have the carrying/storage space of a vehicle.

It's a good mix and something is bound to catch your eye even if you weren't planning on getting something in particular. I came here for lunch over the weekend and it was bustling. There was plenty of seating around outside for people to lounge around with their families. It appears pretty kid friendly too, with some water installations for children to jump around. There are also courtesy umbrellas to use for inclement weather - a thoughtful gesture. I'm not sure how they manage cold-ish weather though. Probably not as fun to shop when it's freezing out, although this is a pretty rare situation. I also spotted a security guard, but I felt pretty safe throughout my visit.

I visited Bloomie's the first weekend it opened and the place was packed! Located in U-Village by Athleta and Shake Shack, it's easy to find with parking in the lot and in the garages. For opening weekend, there were plenty of staff on the floor, helping customers, as well as a greeter. There was even a dog event happening here when I visited as the store is dog-friendly. They were offering dog photos and bandanas for the fur babies, as well as treats. Gotta love that! This store is small, especially when compared to an actual Bloomingdale's since it's on a smaller scale. I've been to Bloomie's on the east coast and this location doesn't have as great of a selection as the east coast ones and is smaller too. However, it has some beloved brands, with women's apparel on the main floor and some men's and accessories on the second floor. They don't have everything or much, but the customer service is superb. Glad to have a Bloomie's in the area and would come back to see what trendy items are offered while shopping at U-Village.

Given the location of the store, I'm glad there is security. The selection does reflect a younger ish demographic of 20 something college students with a sprinkle of vintage Pendleton and Eddie Bauer. If you know what you're looking for and study brands, this is a great shop. I found a made in Amsterdam recycled blanket sweater which is super cozy. I randomly find made in Portugal shoes that may run for $280 to $300 for $40. I think it's about approach. I will say that the Cap Hill location feels like the grow up sibling. I go here for Scotch and Soda blazers, Camper shoes, random Nike collabs, and a $20 dress shirt. I am happy that this crossroads exists. Service is hit or miss. Over 10 years it's hard to quantify the helpful from the snooty. I think all in all I give it a 7 out of 10.

Definitely disappointing for a thrift store, selection and price wise. My Hispanic bf has also felt like they treat him differently every-time he goes in there without me. And from reading these reviews it seems like other people have noticed this issue too. And I have noticed I get treated differently when I go in with him than when I go alone or with friends.

My family bought EB gear from rain jackets, vests, socks, and multiple accessories, and I loved the line of vintage inspired colored packable bags offered around 10 years ago. There is something about EB's craftsmanship. I used to shop vintage sought out some made in Seattle garments. I'm pretty familiar with EB's latest company history and appreciate the loyal staff that have stuck it out. Whenever I go to the village I am brought back to the Eddie Bauer promise. The clothes have a modern nostalgia to them and it's nice to see how quality is not compromised. I'm going to continue to be a EB customer and I appreciate the Northwest history.

I called to see if store could return. I was told a manager could look up receipt- I needed to come in and that the 14th of November would be good. I drove to the store. Arriving at the store I was told that the company did not trust its employees to look up receipts by credit card. I would have to call customer service. They gave me the number. From the store I called and a man spent what felt like an 40 minutes to an hour asking me questions that were irrelevant- about my "online" order. I had to tell him repeatedly that I bought it in the same store in which I was standing and I just needed them to look up the order for my receipt. At the end of the call he said a "specialty team" would need to do it and would get back to me within 3 days. I would need to drive home, wait and then drive back to the store to try again. It's been 4 days. No one has replied. No matter where else I have ever shopped in the last decade or more if I give my credit card, they can find my receipt if it's lost - that includes Nordstrom's the Gap, everywhere. This experience was stunningly prehistoric and infuriating. I almost always get Eddie Bauer jackets for my family members at Christmas and that's what I was trying to do this year - replace a jacket where the zipper had broken on last year's expensive Eddie Bauer jacket - And then I learned they don't trust their employees and they can't give me even the most basic customer service. I can't imagine what the holidays will be like when other people don't have their receipts. Switching now to North Face. It's right next door.

I bought 3 items in 3 different transactions, trying to get the right size as the various sizes came in and went out of stock. Then I schlep them all to the physical store, thinking it will be easy to return the 2 that didn't fit. Well, if you pay by Paypal, the only thing Aritzia will do is give you store credit. Extremely antiquated and a totally wasted trip. So, I had to call their "concierge" who at every turn told me about all the exceptions she was making to their policies, the refund back to Paypal was "one time," the price adjustment to the item I kept made this very popular item "final sale." And they couldn't really confidently advise placing the 2 items I'm returning by mail in the same box. In fact, she basically advised that the 7-10 days for them to process a return for items in the same box could actually end up being as much as 20 days. WTH? They have some cute things, but 100% not worth it!

The salespeople know what they're talking about, try to understand your needs, and don't try to upsell you. The family-owned business, since the 80s, sources its furniture to ensure quality and sustainability, making me feel good about where I spend my money. The prices are fair, and you're assured of getting very good-quality furniture that will last for a very, very long time. We bought a Stressless chair, which they sell many of, in the 90s, and it's still my favorite chair in the house. Even the delivery people love working there and care about your satisfaction. We live in a condo where they had to carry a large piece of furniture up four flights of stairs. One board got slightly banged up; they showed it to us, took pictures, sent them back to their manager, and assured us they would take care of it. Later, the owner came out, fixed the dings enough where we were happy, but he wasn't. He said this will do until we can get you a replacement because you bought something new, and you shouldn't have something newly fixed; you should have something you know is new. I can go on and on about what a great experience and value it is to shop there, but most have probably stopped reading this by now. Suffice it to say: if you want excellent-quality furniture that is super comfortable, long-lasting, puts a smile on your face when you see or use it, and makes you feel good about where your money went, buy it at Bedrooms and More.
