Unfortunately, we had one very, very bad experience early on and realized this game is too rough for us. Kush is the only new delivery experience we have tried sense our bad experience. Kush was very flexible with locations, the driver wore a mask without being asked, and they were fast, very fast. I think it was only like 20 minutes from when we first placed our order that they had arrived. I would exercise extreme caution buying from DC delivery services, especially if you are a female. I am still shaken by my experience with one of the services. We have two of them now that I am comfortable meeting, Kush being one. Kush gets my safety seal of approval, and they are fast! I arrived at 6:15 PM -- 45 minutes before the stated closing time -- and the building is completely locked, lights off, and no one answering the phone. It's extremely unprofessional and honestly embarrassing when black owned businesses operate this way. People plan their schedules around posted business hours. Some of us leave work early, sit in traffic, rearrange obligations -- all based on the basic expectation that a business will be open when it says it's open. To show up to a dark, locked building with zero explanation is frustrating and disrespectful of customers' time. If the hours have changed, update them. If the business closed early for a reason, communicate it. A simple sign on the door or an updated voicemail would have shown a *baseline* level of professionalism. Instead, there was nothing. Reliability is the bare minimum. Unfortunately, this experience showed a complete lack of it.
