There are plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and pescetarian options (e.g. 3-4 different kinds of salmon, curry cauliflower, roasted vegetables, brussels sprouts, roasted potatoes, various legumes, tofu, tempeh, etc.). All the produce items are top-notch in terms of quality and freshness. They also have a great selection of items that are not as easily found in other mainstream supermarket chains, such as a wider variety of hummus and tempeh selection, an extensive bulk foods section (including nuts, grains, and beans), and other organic, vegan, and specialty items.

Especially during the first round of lockdown in March/April, you can tell their COVID-19 plans were carefully thought out. Line up outside with stanchions, must wear a mask and provided masks to those who didn't have one (before it was mandatory), clearly marked aisle directions, plexi-glass where necessary. It's safe to say I feel comfortable and safe to go here when I need to. I will say, however, my most recent visit did not have a lineup outside the store but I found it pretty busy inside! The meat and fish selection is always fresh and abundant. In particular, we enjoy picking up oysters - and they will shuck them for you if you ask! Pre-covid times saw me frequenting the hot and cold bar for quick but quality lunchtimes. Unfortunately, this area is being used for flow water and dry flax storage (as it should). But! You can grab some of the items from the hot bar in the fridge area, so it's nice to see they are making up for what I assume was a lucrative spot in the store. I also enjoy the beauty/vitamin/supplement/home area (I like a lot of things ok), as it provides a sense of calm and overall is a nice experience to browse the unique options they carry.

I recently was finally able to visit this location. It is super clean and organized. It's a bit overwhelming when you first enter, as there is so much to look at and to choose from. My bf and I literally went through every section to make sure we didn't miss anything. We were ill prepared and forgot to bring our own jars to fill but no worries, they have paper bags and jars for purchase there. We ended up getting quite a few things. I personally got some mixed spicy nuts (I forgot what they were actually called), a peanut butter protein ball, sunflower seed protein powder and the coconut curry lentil soup mix. While I haven't tried the soup yet, I can confirm everything else is delicious! I finished the nuts in 2 days and can't wait to get more lol. I'm defs getting a bigger bag next time. Though I will try to avoid the wasabi nuts, as I'm not much of a wasabi fan. Everything else in the mix AND the spice???....SO GOOD. I was so surprised with the protein ball. I had asked which was the most popular ones and was told either the peanut butter or chocolate. So glad I went with the PB one. I've never tried a protein ball before and my first experience was a hit. So much, that I want to make my own now lol. I like to use plant based protein powder and the sunflower seed protein was a surprise. It did not alter the tastes of my smoothies, which I appreciated. Defs already planning what I'm going to get on my next visit. They not only have food, but they have cleaning supplies, personal care products and kombucha on tap!
