The most convenient place - grocery and cafeteria in one place! Originally, we were just walking around the Galleria to find something to eat on the go. Then, we saw a Korean restaurant-like food court inside. The entire environment is very clean and they use a self-serving system. You can order from the machine and pick up from the kitchen counter. We tried the Gamjatang and Chicken Deopbap. Both of them came with side dishes - kimchi and pickled radish. The Gamjatang was excellent! It included three pieces of pork bone that were so tender. I also loved their soup broth and the spice level is perfect for me. The Chicken Deopbap was served on a hot plate, keeping it hot and the bottom of the rice was a bit crispy too. However, I thought it had a little too much oil. If you just want a snack, you can also buy bibimbap in the Galleria. I remember they also had a microwave available for heating it up. read more

Closest Korean supermarket in Mississauga West. Although selection of items and store is small, all the essentials you would need is there.

This is a smaller than usual Galleria. It was just a condensed version of other Gallerias across the GTA. We didn't have any issues finding a parking spot. This plaza has a large parking lot and had lots of spots available when we went. I don't know if it was just me or the aisles seemed narrower than they usually are. Nothing really stood out to me. We did manage to find BTS branded coffee and xylitol peppermint gum though. When checking in there's an offer for free ice cream with any purchase. However, it seems as though the offer has an expiration date of 2017. Perhaps, this could be removed from the app? read more

I happened to be in the area and spied from the main road that this Galleria was here. It was easy to pull in and find a parking spot in this plaza. This is a small Galleria despite not being in the city. There was an employee standing at the front entrance ensuring that everyone used hand sanitizer on the way in. The sanitizer was a touchless foam dispenser. Since it's close to the Lunar New Year, there were special produce gift sets of pears that were available. I did also see that they had cotton candy grapes at this store! The grapes are a tad pricey this time of year (I think because they're not in season) and were $4.49 per pound. One thing I learned is that they have face masks here that are wayyy cheaper than Shopper's and with a great selection that is straight from Korea. I believe some of the masks were on sale and the brand that I like was $1.19 per mask! A great deal! I felt pretty special at cash because we were waiting in line and someone all the way from customer service led us back to that cash register so we didn't have to wait in line. There is a Yelp check-in deal for a free ice cream, however it is expired so they won't honour it at this location. read more

My fave Asian supermarket. There are a few Asian supermarket around Mississauga and they are much bigger than Galleria but I prefer to go here especially when I want to cook Korean dishes. Compared to other asian grocery stores, Oakville galleria is definitely cleaner though a bit pricier. I've been to other galleria supermarket and this is definitely small compared to those but it still got all the must have to cook Korean food. The people here are always willing to help if you need assistance. They also have prepared food here. Both for cooking yourself or hot food ready to eat. They finally re-open the restaurant at the back. There is self service order machine that you can order food either to go or eat in. We ordered the kamjatang (pork bone soup) 7/10 not the best but decent enough. They were quite busy when we ordered but our food still came out pretty quick. read more

I love it here! This is my go-to place near my work to get my asian and Korean food fix. My go-to things to grab here are: kimbap, seaweed chips, pocky, and the fried chicken dinner sets. My advice is to definitely take advantage of the end of day / closing sales - the kimbap sells for super cheap near the end of the day - sometimes as low as 2.99 for an entire roll of 8-12 pieces. I always crave kimbap so this is something I always do. I recently tried the restaurant/cafeteria food inside and I was quite impressed. The dishes are all ordered via a touch screen monitor and the ordering system is quite streamlined and automated - you order and pay via the touchscreen monitor, and you're then given a ticket with a number that corresponds to your order number. When your order is ready, it'll appear on a monitor and you pick it up from the kitchen. I ordered a regular bibimbap and it was great and affordable - it also came with some side dishes! I hear the pork bone soup here is pretty good - I'm definitely coming back to try this! read more

My go to for hot food from an asian grocery store. It's right by my house and super convenient. There's a little eating area just attached to the store. Though I'll normally take my food home, it's nice to have the option. All of the staff are quite nice and korean speakers, so it gives me the opportunity (when I'm feeling courageous) to attempt to speak korean, which always surprises them. My go to is the fried rice. It's the standard egg fried rice, vegetarian friendly for those who partake in that lifestyle. It's a bit oily, but with some salt becomes very delicious. Decent price too, especially if you come at night when it gets marked down. The beef dishes are nice too. They've also got absolutely delicious chicken wings. However I learned the hard way that they're very very glutenous. Nearly died. But it was tasty. read more

Great Galleria location! It's a bit smaller than the ones closer to downtown Toronto, but they have almost everything (maybe in smaller quantities though). They also have Daiso products, Korean medicine, kitchen products, and housemade banchan. The parking situation was MUCH better than other locations, so getting in and out of the parking lot with bags full of groceries. Random note, they even carry football-themed potato chips which I thought was cool! (probably only for the football season, but still). read more

I love this new addition to our 'hood. Instead of having to drive all the way to Cawthra and Dundas, we now finally have a local Korean market. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The store is bright, clean and filled with so many Korean delicacies. We love the hot take-out foods. They have so much to offer, from fried rice to noodles, to marinated meats. The sushi and sashimi offerings are amazing. We actually got some super-fresh uni for a decent price here too. There's such a great selection of fresh seafood, fresh and marinated meats, sushi, and an array of interesting vegetables and fermented foods. You really can't go wrong! read more

Galleria Supermarket in Oakville! I am still waiting for my own Galleria in Markham! :) This is probably a compact version of the other Galleria's location. Trying to stock the same product selection might be challenge for this smaller location. For their grand opening week, a lot of the merchandise has not been able to be shelf in an organized manner. You might find odd items with no pricing in the wrong area but I think that would eventually be sorted out! The hot food area has a amazing amount of food choices even for a small supermarket. You have the option of getting food from the hot table or made to order. For made to order and Mom's Chicken, you would need to order from Customer Service Counter. You would then be provided with a buzzer for hot food and a number for Mom's Chicken as you would be notified/called when your order is ready. A little confusing as my order was ready before the 30 minute promised time and I did not know that my number was called before that. Maybe I should be hanging out right outside the kitchen instead of wandering around the store. *Mom's Chicken Extra Spicy is really Spicy. Warning: from my Yelp Friend! Eat with Caution and have water ready to put out that fire in your mouth! Galleria Supermarket provides a decent shopping experience if you want to pick up some Korean grocery and food. A new Korean supermarket out west! Location is close to highway, by the corner spot of the plaza. The supermarket itself is a little smaller compared to the ones in North York. But most of the Korean goodies are still available. Worthy to try is their Mama's Chicken (aka Korean Fried Chicken). You can order them in store, online or by phone. Takes about 30 minutes to get it ready, and it comes in spicy and non-spicy flavor. The portion itself is big - because it's a whole chicken wing and there's at least 8-10 pieces. They also serve other Korean food like spicy rice cake, kim kao and bulgogi. This place is perfect for anyone living out west wanting some quick Korean food! read more

Ok, if you're craving Korean food, this is the place to come and buy it and cook it yourself (for the most part aside from the ready to go food) Usually, whatever they have on special in terms meats, the sauce is made by the one woman serving it, so you can ask her how to cook it. She's like a mother figure there and is very generous. The ready to go food is delicious. Not sure who makes it there, but it taste like it came out of a restaurant. And they just recently opened an eating space/lounge... So perfect place to eat if you're hungry after grocery shopping! Or if you just want to go there for their ready to go food. read more

Just discovered this gem of a supermarket and "takeout" spot when my mom asked me to pick up a few things. On top of picking up the sauce my mom requested, I was able to grab some salmon sashimi fillets for a very reasonable price, and some delicious pre-made meals (sweet & sour chicken, bulgogi bowls). The space is small but with covid they're taking the social distance and crowd control pretty seriously. Only so many patrons are allowed in the store at a time which means the small aisles are overcrowded and you can get your shopping done without too much anxiety. I hear they have a food court type situation when it's not a global pandemic so I'll be checking back regularly to review the food court too! read more

Don't expect the same thing as the Yonge/Steeles (or other location) as Oakville is much smaller AND only open 'til midnight. That's still pretty impressive for a part of the city which is basically dead past 8pm! No: in-house bakery, soft serve machine, café, surrounding restaurants, or extra frills. This particular location reminds me of a newer yet squishier version of PAT, west on Dundas in Mississauga. What I did not like about this location, and it's evident when you walk in, is that they put their excess produce/merchandise alongside where the items are displayed. So there'll be boxes of green bananas right in the middle of the aisle. Why? White grocery stores don't do this, UNLESS they're actually restocking their shelves, and once they're done replenishing, they remove the boxes off the sales floor. To me, this seems like they have no standard to maintain specific aisle width. It's difficult to navigate around an area with a buggy, if it's crowded, and it can be a potential fire hazard. The cash registers are also very close to the entrance/exit area, so the front of the shopping area, near produce/cash/dine in spots are VERY COLD when there's a steady flow of shoppers. Highlights? You can buy pre-packaged bachans for 4/$10, pork bone soup in a plastic container for $7, and other pre-made foods. It's also not very busy, so great place if you don't like crowds! Prices can be higher than other Asian grocery stores, especially when there's a specific sale, so shop around! It is new and clean though. read more

Finally Galleria opens! This location is definitely convienent for people living in Mississauga and Oakville. The plaza that they are situated at is busy with various restaurants and home goods. Parking may be an issue due to the density of the plaza. The area itself is busy with a variety stores, which makes this a prime location since it is the only Asian supermarket. I would say this Galleria is smaller than the ones in Toronto but I feel it is enough. This compact version has it all..including the yummy hot and prepared food section. There is also an area for you to sit and enjoy. They have food samples just like the other Gallerias. Did I mention they also close late? Late night Korean cravings oh yes please! The service is quick, friendly and attentive from the hot food section, sample ladies and to the cashiers. Although I have not tried their pork bone soup but $6.95 is a great and tempting price. The last time I visited, I got their fish cake soup to go and I am glad they used the tall plastic containers and not the styrofoam ones. If you want excellent quality and cut of meat and Korean hot foods, you need to make a visit. Thumbs up! read more

If you like to sushi/Korean food, this is a great place to buy lunch box and side dishes. The price is fair. In terms of grocery , it depends on promotion. The price Is usually higher but the quality is good. they have recently expand to have dining area. I have tried their Spicy Tuna Roll , lunch box and futomaki. It tastes good. In terms of kimchi, there is a brand with less Sodium which is healthier. read more

I would agree with Stephanie S. This is basically a smaller and cleaner version of P.A.T in east Mississauga. It is very cramped and is like a miniature version of the ones in Toronto/North York. The food court is pretty small, but it does offer your typical Korean fare, like PBS, bimibap and KFC. No soon tofu, so kind of sad about that. :-( They also have a hot food bar which looked good. The dining area is near the door. Their groceries seem fairly fresh, so that's a positive and they also have banchan (4 for $10) and all your high quality Korean/Japanese snacks. Verdict: It's convenient if you live in Oakville, West Mississauga and don't want to deal with the insane crowds at the Chinese grocery stores, but it's not the same as the ones in Toronto. I'm a frequent shopper at the other Galleria locations. Came to check this one out since it is newly opened. Surprised how much smaller this location is. They do not offer as much as the other locations. The fruits and vegetables are similarly priced. But I feel like there's less variety here. The meat sold here seem to be more pricey compared to the other location. The locations in North York offer larger variety and meat is priced cheaper and nicer. There's not much to get from here as it is a small grocery store. But the place is clean and decent if you aren't looking for anything too special. It's okay. read more

Welcome to Mississauga, Galleria! I've been waiting for you to come here - with your red bean fishies and your delicious fresh meats and your variety of kimchi and red pepper spices and your mom's chicken (korean fried chicken YES!) The new Galleria is located in a plaza with Bombay Bhel and Ye's Sushi and Solutions (between the Sportchek plaza and the Value Village one) and looks pretty tiny from the outside, but it's surprisingly roomy inside. It's not Loblaws huge, but it has enough space to fit everything it needs and you don't feel like your bumping elbows as you go down the aisles. They still have samples, true to Galleria form - they're plentiful and delicious and the servers are super nice. I'm excited to have this new place close by, and can't wait to go back for more groceries and red bean fishies! read more

Benny K here with a report on the Galleria Supermarket. Finally, a Korean supermarket within 10 minutes of my house. No more long drives down to PAT or Yonge and Steeles. YAY! This place is my new goto for all asian/Korean supplies. From a scrub cloth to fresh mackerel, Galleria has "most" of what I am looking for. I know this has been mentioned in other reviews but man is this place tiny compared to their other locations. If it is busy, good luck in navigating the narrow lanes. Asian shopping cart drivers are the worst! Ha! It is more like a convenience store for groceries. Too bad there isnt a food court like at the other locations. However if you are looking for a quick Korean meal, they do have a cute hot and cold table from which you can choose from. The also have KFC , Gim-Bap and other goodies made fresh on site. If you hangry and need to eat right away, they have a little eating/seating area for you. The store itself is really clean and it has a nice big parking lot with easy access and egress. read more
