Fantastic service. First of all they work on old Harley's. So many dealerships won't touch anything old. I brought them my 82 FXRS and they thoughtfully went through it fixed what was wrong but did not go crazy. Every step of the way they had excellent communications. What the mechanic was finding, the need to order old parts, what was getting done. When a problem did arise that was questionably my responsibility they covered it no questions asked. The best communications I have ever experienced at any dealer! bike car whatever. Asked the parts guys to find me a swing arm bag for my 40 something year old bike. Yep. Happy New Years to all and I look forward to YELPing even more this 2023! This is my first review of 2023 and it wasn't a great experience... I love to travel on my bike and on occasions need to have it worked on. I've had challenges with finding a good repair facility and due to Harley Davidson(HD) warranty...I'm limited to HD dealerships for my repairs. So, I've had my bike worked on at Chandler Harley Davidson and they just couldn't keep the service writers or the technicians longer than they would keep my bike in for the repairs. I even contacted the warranty company to complain about doubting the repairs being billed and the rep simply said "how much is it costing you sir?" I replied $50.00 every time I get it in the shop and he said "then what are you worried about!" I've had it looked at in Pittsburgh PA and Durango Colorado but due to time restrictions in my travels couldn't get repair work there....but they did recommend to try Buddy Stubbs HD. I decided to try my luck with Buddy Stubbs HD right off it seemed like a better choice for my repair needs. The service folks were attentive and even though I over explained my concerns it seemed to have fallen on deaf ears. What I mean is that the repair was done correct but sadly the initial problem resurfaced with my front end topping out again. No leak but topping out every time my front wheel left the ground. I also had to return a few days later with a fuel leak ( not saying it was related) I think I just assume that the technicians are going through each bike they service with a fine tooth comb, especially if it's from a customer that will come back and speak up after... The manager is a bit creepy, way too serious and seems guarded on his approach. However, he is knowledgeable and in the end very helpful. I did speak to a few service writers about my travels and the reason why I need them to be extra serious when servicing my bike. Sadly, I doubt that this was taken for its worth and I seem to have been just processed as an overly complaining customer. I have thousands of riding miles on my hog and trust in the professionals at the HD repair facilities to keep me safe on the road. I will say that with the Buddy Stubbs HD technician Mike I didn't and don't feel the need to question if the work was done or not...huge plus over Chandler HD techs. I'll pick up my bike next week and hit the road soon... P.S. nice dealership, clean restrooms and good customer service overall. read more

I have been to Honda, Kawasaki and other Harley Dealerships for purchase sand service since I bought by first street bike in 1981. I have dealt with A-H and also some pretty good service providers. I moved to Arizona 13 years ago and I have used most HD Service departments in the upper north, east and west part of Phoenix and now exclusively for the last 5 years I have use Buddy Stubbs. Buddy Stubbs service folks ALWAYS explains what is needed, discuss the options and gets you in and out in a reasonable time period AND they don't charge ridicules or excessive rates. A special call out to Matt who I most often see for service but Daria was on the spot Saturdays when I had the latest need. Saturday I was headed out of town on my 2021 Trike and it went into Limp Mode. Since I was on the east side of town i stopped at the HD Dealer in the Scottsdale area. I was pulling a trailer at the time. When I went inside the A-H service writer met me with "There's no way you are bringing that trailer into our repair shop". I told him that was fine i could unhook it for the service. He then proceeded to tell me I would have to leave it until next week. Remember i was on a trip and I told him that. He didn't know that I was only 50 miles into my trip! I decided that there was no way I would leave it with them based solely on his attitude so I did a few things to reset out of Limp Mode and went to Buddy Stubbs. December 2020 - "Sorry, we have only one style of not too heavy leather jackets. I don't know what's happening to our stock." (I bought a jacket at Chandler HD) 1. Today - I can't write your service ticket because our system was struck by lightning." Can you look at the stripped bolt on my throttle assembly anyway? "I've never heard of an assembly springing out like that. There's probably something wrong. Did we install these bars? You oughtta talk to the dealer that did." don't ever take your bike there to get it fixed after a accident because you will have to pay a extra 318 dollar fee they charge because your insurance company won't cover it - they won't tell you that you owe that fee until there order parts so if you decide that you don't want to fix your bike the will make you pay a 20% restocking fee for all the parts the ordered to fix your bike read more

Brought my bike in for a 3 hole fluid change to keep my warranty forever active and i took it in around 10k miles i also wanted a clutch adjustment. I asked for that and the person told me it was included in that service. So COOL. I leave the lot and within a few miles it's not shifting right only in higher rpm's like I had to re shift sometimes two or three times. If I ride slow it was fine. They said if it keeps up bring it back in. It deff kept up and it wasn't an issue that was bad where the bike wouldn't run especially since it was fine when I rode normal. The service manager asked me how I put 3k miles on it. Explained I work almost every day and I ride to and from work.im way too busy to be coming down there especially when their techs didn't do the adjustment right(she told me they didn't adjust it right last time) but Richard won't allow them to fix this issue since an adjustment is not warrantied. He admits his guy fucked up and all he can do is say sorry. And he no longer works there. So I gotta eat the charges??? Lmao my bike has been in multiple times now for warranty work it's been one thing after another and that's not in them but they should be like "our guy fucked up we will eat the labor charge" I mean the service manager DID give me a discount on the labor but it's ok the dude no longer works there. Wasn't MY fault but they're only gonna have me pay for SOME of it they won't give a shit cause they won't make any money off of me only doing the bare minimum so this won't hurt them but deff taking my bike to arrowhead for service from now on. read more

Went into this store with my Dad and Stepmom on 9/1/19 because my Dad has been showing interest lately in buying a bike. This is a guy who sees what he wants and buys it. If we would have received an ounce of positive service today he would've bought one, maybe two. From the minute we walked in the only person to greet us and smile was the lady in apparel. I very rarely post reviews, but I thought I'd share this. I recently got a bike, so I went in to get a helmet. I asked for help with measurement and Paige assisted. I left the store with a Harley Davidson helmet she suggested, I went over my budget and spent over $300 to make sure I was getting a quality helmet. After talking to friends who ride they pointed out the helmet was too big. I went back to exchange it and they said I couldn't return it, even though they measured me wrong. The helmet had never been used, and I simply wanted to swap it for the right size. Very disappointing, it seems like they will sell you anything to get it off the shelf, I will not be returning. read more

Now three months later I've taken it in for its first service and there was some miscommunication on the date we scheduled but that was not a problem and they were able to fit me in. I took my 2014 Dyna Lowrider into Buddy Stubbs to have a 10K service done. When I received my bike it was covered in oil and fingerprints. I washed my bike for three hours, including a wax job the day before. The museum is cool and worth going to see. But, I will not have them service my bike again. When I got my bike home I checked the oil... I'm over half a quart low. This is why they should be rated less than 1 star! read more

The first time I went into this Harley dealer I went in to look at a 2015 dyna they had on the floor. I was talking with this salesperson and asked him to lower the amount by $2,000. His response was "we don't deal" and "maybe some people just aren't meant to ride Harleys" I spoke with the manager about this situation. On 4/23/23 my brother and I went in to Buddy Stubbs and went to the parts counter to get spark plugs. we stopped to look at a bike and this "salesperson" was eyeing my brother down. we walked towards the clothing section to look at shirts when the salesperson yelled at us across the entire store. He proceeded to yell at us "come here b!tćh" running after us. we tried to ignore him by looking at the shirts when he got in our faces. he decided to turn to me at this point and said "what the fućk are you looking at" we exchanged words. after many attempts to harassing us to fight him another employee stepped in and pushed him back from being in our faces. he calmly asked us to leave to prevent further escalation. The salesperson continued to follow us out the store where he then took off his shirt and threw it on the ground and got in our faces again. upon leaving I asked the other employee to check the cameras to prove that he was the one who chased up down to bully us.
