I would never recommend this company. They have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I wasted two days of work waiting for them because they would never do what they said they would do. When I made the original arrangements I was told by Dustin that they would call back later that day to let me know an estimate of when they would drop off the bin. He never called, so I called the next morning to find out when I had to be home. He did not know and said he would call back. I called him back late in the afternoon after still not hearing from him. He told me his driver was picking up the bin in Woodland Hills and then taking it to Calabasas to dump and then back to me. Still no idea, but the day was already wasted. Then the driver told me if I was finished early to call and they were really good about picking up within a few hours(driver was only good thing about experience). I did finish early and called to have it picked up. Dustin said, "I'll let my driver know it's down for pick up.", and hung up the phone. I figured it would be a couple of hours and then nothing. So I called Dustin after five and he was, as usual, totally clueless. He first lied and said that he actually told me in the morning that they would pick up tomorrow. Never happened. Then after hee-ing and hawing around forever, he said that it was already paid for and the pick up date was already going to be for the next day because my time was up. He wanted to know why I needed to know when it would be picked up. Was it behind a gate? The actuality is that I had requested this information because I had a valid reason. Not one that I needed to explain, but one that was valid just the same. If he would have asked why I needed to know when I asked him I would have told him. Hopefully all will go well when they finally pick the bin up tomorrow. I have no idea when that will be, so that means I will have to miss another day of work. I understand that many things can not be nailed down to an exact time and I never expected it to be. I never demanded that they give me anything in stone. Just anything would have been fine. I don't know who wrote the other reviews because any company that does not care about customer service and even tells a client on the phone, "You paid for it already, why do you need to know when we're picking it up?" You already paid us so we don't need to answer your questions or return your calls. Never again. read more

Their customer service is second to no one! I have been working on an entire home renovation for the past 18 months and Budget Bins has been instrumental in hauling the trash away for me. For my project, I used Budget and their three yard residential bins. Dustin has been patient, honest, and helpful throughout my project. After researching trash hauling in Santa Clarita and the San Fernanado Valley, Budget's prices were the best. And to add to their pricing, Dustin was extremely helpful in getting bins to and from my house on a schedule that changed from week to week. Again, Dustin went above and beyond to work with me throughout my project. In addition to Dustin's phenomenal customer service is their driver, Roberto. At each pickup and dropoff of bins, Roberto was extremely helpful in getting any last minute heavy items lifted and placed into the bins. Roberto doesn't owe me anything, and yet he was extremely professional, courteous, and helpful at each and every encounter. I've lived in my home for decades, so I treat myself to a dumpster every year to get rid of those large items no longer useful, like the wooden doghouse that disintegrated when I picked it up, or the two personal yard trash cans that had huge holes in the sides, things like that that are of no use to charity, or me. I called BUDGET BINS, and he helped me decide the exact size I needed (which was perfect for my needs). He asked when I needed the bin delivered and said I could have the bin a week, but could call for a pick up if I filled it up sooner. Easy, easy, easy. I never write a negative review but I had to for this company. Anyone who needs a dumpster should avoid this place at all costs. The customer service is terrible. They are completely unreliable and unwilling to accommodate you're needs even when they have made a mistake. If you're a contractor or a home owner do not use this service. I just went through a terrible experience using them. They failed to deliver the bin which was confirmed and paid for. They then offered up a bin at twice the cost. They then offered a solution to pick up the trash at the cost of the original bin which seemed like a good solution. Then they told me it would be $300. What was originally was a $160 rental became a $300 rental. Despite their mistake they refused to accommodate the original price agreed upon. Now I have to take time out of my business day to remove the trash. Terrible company. read more

You just call them, let them know what you need, they bring the bins to you, drop it off for week and then pick them up and that's it. A little tip for you guys, make sure that you organize the things you are throwing out like cutting out boxes and flattening them out, so that you can put more stuff in it. I needed a larger bin for some yard cleanup we were doing. I called to reserve a 9 yard bin. Didn't know that this size existed. There were none available until after the weekend, but one had just been returned during my call. I was able to have that bin delivered the next day - a Saturday. It was delivered on time, very early in the day. A 9 yard bin is a nice size bin. Big enough to eliminate a lot of trash/clutter but small enough that it doesn't take up the whole driveway. It drew great interest from the neighbors. We took the week to load the bin up. The bin was picked up 8 days later, early in the day again. Everyone I worked with was wonderful and extremely nice, pleasant and knowledgeable. Budget Bins will be my only supplier for bins from now on. Priced right, local and a pleasure to work with. horrible service! I rented a 40 yard dumpster from them for a project I did in los angeles 3 weeks and was quoted a price which I thought was decent but comparing with other companies very pricey. It was scheduled for delivery @ 8 didn't receive dumpster till 2 in the afternoon which was still okay, but when they picked up the dumpster without notifying me they charged me an additional $300 for overweight fees! i called requesting documentation showing i have overweight and still to date i haven't received anything. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone they lie and over charge you!! good luck if you decide to go with them!!! btw the truck that they used leaks lots of oil. 1st time using Budget Bins and they are now my go-to-bin-provider in the San Fernando Valley. I've been doing rehab projects on properties I own over the past two years and have had to deal with other Bin Providers. Typically they are late getting the bins onsite and picked up, as well as using unsightly beat up old equipment. Budget Bins uses newer painted bins that actually roll easily and are relatively clean. On my current project they have dropped and picked up 3 bins on a timely basis eliminating any delays and keeping the site free of debris. They are fairly priced for the service level that they provide. Justin is great at scheduling and keeping me informed of pickup dates. read more

These guys are as good as it gets. I needed a large bin for a clean-out project. I had scheduled with another provider when I decided to shop it after the high price. Budget came in less expensive for a larger bin and could drop-off sooner. The even delivered a larger bin than what I reserved as they were out the day they promised to deliver. So, instead of them pushing me off until the got the right size bin, they dropped-off a larger one for the same price. They put it exactly where we wanted it without a hassle. Professional staff. Easy to deal with. I love that their website is clear and has all the pricing details, as opposed to other places that you need to call in order to find out the cost. The dumpster we rented was in much better shape than most beaten-up ones I had seen before and I appreciated their marketing efforts: clear logo, contact info and even QR code. Needed a dumpster for some remodeling work being done on one of my rental properties. Called them on a Monday and had a 10 yard dumpster in my driveway on Tuesday. Overall we had a great experience with Budget bins, they are by far the cheapest out of the area for what we needed and size of bin we were looking for. They were timely and getting set up was a breeze, we added more time to our rental and that was an easy process as well. We did however have the driver asking for money at the time of pickup which we found odd because neither contacts we listed for the rental had been contacted about the supposed issue and thought this was very out of sorts. read more
