My husband is in the construction business, he used this company for many years! he dealt with a very nice man name Mark (owner) we were happy with the company. But now they have someone there who likes to say "Not my problem". My husband was quoted $650.00 for a bin by Mark but he is not there as much as he use to be, we were not charged the quoted price, we were charged more and additional $260.00 for overweight charge, If it's over weight then it should be charged but adding more money to the bin without letting us know and not calling us before to tell us of the overweight charge and just charging my credit card is not professional. we have not received an invoice either so Im suppose to go back to our customer and tell them I was overcharged, and to pay me back? I can show them my credit card statement so we can get paid back but as this guy there said to my husband "not my problem". we will no longer use this company again, this new guy apparently doesn't care about the the customers, it certainly is not good for business. If you do decide to use this company, be sure to get a printed or email invoice before giving them your credit card like we use to get,otherwise you get the "Not my problem" attitude, when the company goes down it won't be my problem either. I've used Rent-A-Bin on numerous occasions and they've always been amazing. Their customer service is fantastic, their rates are great, and their delivery and collection services are the best! I watched our delivery driver this morning pick-up our full bin and drop of another empty bin in no time flat. He could turn that truck on a dime! I've never felt pressured into getting more than I need, but keep in mind that the size you think you need might be smaller than what you actually need - lesson learned. I rented a bin for the first time yesterday. It was supposed to be at my home between 8:30-10:30. It was for a fair price and had heard good things about this company. I received a reminder text at 7:06 am reminding me they need access to be able to drop it off. I had my workers ready to go. As 11:00 a.m. came around and no bin had shown up I began to wonder what was going on. I had my contractor call only to be told the guy delivering my bin was at the dump emptying out a container. The lady on the phone apologized and said he would be there shortly. Two hours later still no bin. Called again and was told the driver is on his way and in good faith would refund me $100 for the waisted morning. Two hours later (3:00 p.m.) still no one. Called back and was told driver is on his way and that he would arrive in 25 min. My contractor shared the workers would wait but wanted some assurance of time as they had been sitting around all day waiting for the bin. Rather than an assurance my order was cancelled and a refund was issued. Saying I am disappointed is an understatement. I have to pay wages for folks that didn't get to work because this company did not come through as expected. The company (Megan) was apologetic but unfortunately that is not enough. I've never had to rent a bin until now, but these guys are awesome. My schedule for my project was delayed because of the City of Santa Clarita and Rent-A-Bin were accommodating and dropped off and picked up when needed. Just had them pick up a 40 yard roll off from my home. I needed to have it for a while because i was cleaning out my mom's formerly rat infested garage in 100 degree heat yay! Anyway, they were extremely generous w the time. In fact when they did call it was like they were just asking if it was ok to come get it. Very friendly and reasonable. Have used them in the past and will use them next time I need them. Telling all my contractor buddies about them again. Oh and the driver was also super accommodating and didn't complain once about the tight driveway and placement of the roll off. read more

I wasnt gonna write this review but once I saw that bad review below about someone bitching about there street I felt I had to. One of my buddy's has a bin company which I used for a few years. Then about a year ago i was working a job and the contractor mentioned the pricing on the 40 yarder he rented. I couldn't believe I'd been paying $150 more thru my friends company. So a few month's later I needed a lowboy. I gave them a call and sure enough it was way cheaper than I've been paying! I am doing a home renovation and I shopped around prior to using this company. Rent-A-Bin by far the best prices. When I filled up my bin they came the next day and swapped it out for a new one. Scumbags. If i could go ZERO stars, I would. They will tear up your street and then argue with you that it "ain't my fault dude". Well then whose fault is it? Their cheap ass bin wheels destroy residential streets but it is the city's fault? The most rude and uneducated drivers. You must only need a pulse to work there. Great training they receive to argue and swear at the residents of the communities they serve. Spend your money elsewhere, not with this scumbag outfit.
