We happened to book the cabin when it was super cold but did get to participate in some of the activities. The peddle cars were either broken or way too hard to maneuver; the basketball was old and wouldn't bounce. There was only one employee in November and that made it difficult to communicate. The fire in the tepee was wonderful but only lasted a little while. The undertaker cabin was large and had two nice queen beds but was limited on decor.

They have 4 different themed cabins, 2 for pets and 2 for no pets. They are spaced far enough apart to give you your own room and not be elbow to elbow with your neighbors. There is also a large double-wide trailer that's called THE LODGE for larger groups. It has a large yard and is farther from the other cabins. There's a small creek that runs in front of the cabins. It was bubbling and all and if you come during the cooler months it'd be great to sleep with the windows up to fall asleep to. They come with satellite tv, pots, pans, dishes etc and sheets and towels. Unfortunately because of the covid we had to bring our own sheets & towels but that's no biggy. They also provide limited toiletries (soap, hand soap, dish soap, etc). There's chairs for the porch, a grill and fire ring and a picnic table to use. The cabin was nicely furnished and decorated with the LOVE theme. We had a queen size bed. It was way too hard for me but my wife slept fine. Not sure about anybody else but we had ZERO cell service there. There are also lots of dead zones in that area (at least for our carrier). It was VERY PEACEFUL AND QUIET!!!!!! Nobody running up and down halls or slamming doors off their hinges. We were told their were some atv trails close by but we didn't do that this time. There's many different options fairly close by and I would highly recommend the scenic loop that runs from Mena on into Oklahoma. I think it's about 55 miles long. If you're looking for a nice, quiet place to stay I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND AT LIVING WATER CABINS!!!!

Admittedly our family is a little particular. OK maybe very particular. We searched the immediate area and found this location but we're skeptical. The reviews on another site we're actually stellar which capped off our decision to try something a little unique and we were not disappointed. Samantha's timber Inn appears to be an old style motel that has been completely renovated. Each room as unique as the website indicates with a specific theme. Ours was a boat theme and the pictures posted here don't do the place justice. Tongue and groove pine board paneling and matching decorations down to the shower curtain made you feel like you were in a ship. The space is sprawling including a separate bedroom with a queen size bed. It was meticulously clean and very well appointed. TVs, microwave, coffee maker with coffee and condiments. Super plush towels. Comfortable beds. Wi-fi. We had just pulled in and I received a call asking if we arrived OK and had found the key under the doormat as promised. Check out was smooth and easy. We felt incredibly comfortable in the space and would recommend it to anyone but especially a family.

The place is spotless -- the tent sites are clean enough to eat off (not that we tried), and the bathhouse looks like it belongs in a glamping ad. Sarah and Lynn are absolute gems -- actually, scratch that, they're the real diamonds around here. They loaned us all the gear we needed to go mining and even showed us how to do it. We didn't strike it rich, but after hanging out with them, we felt like we did. They sell firewood at great prices and have a few handy items in the little shop -- not everything, but enough to save your forgetful self. The campground is quiet, beautiful, and ridiculously welcoming. We only planned to stay a couple nights, but six nights later we were still trying to come up with excuses not to leave. Perfect spot for hitting the Crater of Diamonds and a bunch of pretty lakes within a half hour's drive. If you're heading this way -- just book it. You'll dig it (literally).

Sarah loaned us the digging equipment and taught us how to use the equipment AND how to spot a diamond. Never found any diamonds but digging, washing and inspecting, although hard work, was fun. It combines the best of the past and present. We loved everything about our stay here except having to leave. Has everything you would need for however long you could stay. Full kitchen and bath, bbq, fire pit, great internet, fireplace... great views from your rocking chairs on your front porch. The mercantile is stocked with fantastically curated finds! All in all this venu/Air B and B is a find at a great price! Breakfast can be delivered to your door for $12 a person if you so choose and fire wood is sold at the mercantile. Pets are welcome and they have some sweet cats that visit if you're lucky. The town of Washington is historic and gorgeous as well! Don't miss this opportunity.

The cabins have been beautifully renovated. If you looking to get away from the city, or take your kids to Crater of Diamonds park (40 minute drive). Enjoy the country but have modern commodities, this is amazing place to stay. Start the day with your hot coffee from the Keurig coffee machine, and hot breakfast delivered your door in the morning by your host Brad. Breath pure oxygen from all the trees surrounding the property. Hear the birds chirping, and get greeted by Penelope. Get online check in. This was on of our best experience on a bed and breakfast and we can't wait to come back.
