Because I believe that people should know and see things for themselves, I have included photos of…read morethe unclean work and damage that the company did. While the owner is a very nice person, she does not stand behind her work and did not compensate me appropriately for poor cleaning services and for damaging my stove from using the wrong type of cleaning supplies (i.e. using stove cleaner on the outside of the stove, which is a rookie mistake that a quality cleaning service employee should know not to do). When I tried to work with Ashley to rectify the poor cleaning, she gave me $50 off of the cleaning services charge of $175. However, she also charged me $200 more for carpet shampooing/cleaning, which was not done well at all! I actually had to pay someone else to go back over her employee's work to clean the carpets properly (see pictures). So, all in all, I lost out on money even after her discount. The most troubling issue, however, is that her or her employee damaged the enamel on my stove (see pictures). Ashley tried to fix it by applying an epoxy, but bought and sprayed the wrong one!! The one she used said on the label, "Flammable. Do not use on stovetops. Rated for heat with a maximum of 200 degrees Fahrenheit." My stove exceeds 500+ degrees Fahrenheit! Plus, she bought a flat paint when my stove is a gloss. So, not only did her company damage the stove, but then she put an epoxy on the stove that wasn't suppose to be used - making the problem worse! However, I gave her ANOTHER CHANCE to fix the situation by getting the right epoxy. On Saturday, February 29th, she was supposed to come with the new epoxy to fix the stove, but she was late! She kept me and my neighbor waiting over an hour and a half. At this point I became fed up with the disrespect and unprofessional service. So, while waiting for Ashley, I text her to say that maybe she should just give me a refund and let me handle the issue. She then responded about 10 minutes later, "Hey, I just turned around after your full refund statement didn't settle well with me so I'm discussing with my business advisor." I was literally shocked after receiving the message. Ashley has not responded to me since Saturday, February 29th, and I had tenants that moved into the house the next day, March 1st to a stove that could not be operated because of what she did and then did not fix. At this point she has left me no choice but to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and/or sue for damages. Very disappointing to have this happen after being referred to her company by a coworker.

My mother was a hoarder. It's hard to explain just how much stuff she had. Recently, we moved from the house we'd been in for 15 years to a new place. We were downsizing to a bigger house - we were piling up things that needed to go faster than we could make room to pack the stuff we were going to take with us. A bit of research, and we found Gorilla Junk. Up front pricing, and an online booking discount. We scheduled, and they came on a Thursday, and filled their truck. Then again that Sunday. And again a couple of weeks later to get the last of the trash in the old house. Nelson was communicative, on time, and willing to come out the same day we called him when we got overwhelmed. Great service, great attitude, and amazing willingness to help. Best of all? No judgment for the unbelievable amount of junk we had sitting around. Tons of it. Literally. He just calmly helped us get it gone, for a fair price, and without much hassle. Can't recommend these guys highly enough.

They said they would provide a free estimate and they set up a time to come out on Wednesday. They said they would be at the house between 2-4pm and would give me a 30-minute heads up. They never called. I called them at 3:30pm to see if they were still planning on coming out. The guy who answered had no idea what I was talking about. Apparently they don't write this stuff down or use computers to schedule things? He asked me to give him a few minutes to call the driver and get back to me. He called me back and said that their truck broke down. If that were true, I'd like to think they would call and let me know. He asked me if they could come out "sometime later tonight" and I just said "no, thanks". I'm hoping I can find a company that can handle picking up a phone so that I don't rearrange my work schedule for no reason.

I can't complain too much, because they offered to do this in 1 hour vs charging me a 2 hour…read moreminimum like most companies, so I am grateful for them being flexible. However, you do get what you pay for. We have 2 media shelves that we have moved across the country as well as another move in Austin that has stayed in tact and was never an issue being moved. One of the movers picked the first one up and the moment he left the apartment we hear a big crash and a "um the shelf fell apart on its own". Of course no one saw what happened, but the next shelf that was moved was completely fine. They aren't responsible because of a liability waiver they make you sign for anything that is made up of particle boards (and they make you sign a waiver for this - which I haven't done so with any other company). So, I think my husband wouldn't have been as mad if 1) the mover said "I'm sorry, I slipped" or something like that since they can't be liable anyways, and 2) we can fix it, which we tried glue gun and all, but we will just have to get a new one... so, we saved on 1 hour of labor but will have to use that savings on a new media shelf. The other thing that annoyed me is that I was quoted for 2 people, but 3 showed up and they wanted to charge me for the 3 movers vs 2. They told me it's because they were so busy and running behind... Then tried to tell me it's a better deal because they will move faster. We got this resolved, but I have a feeling that if I didn't fight for my quote, I would have been charged $130 vs the $90 I was quoted. If you have furniture from ikea or anything that isn't real wood, don't utilize them, because they won't be liable for breaking them. The thing I liked is the value, but it has come back and bit me in the ass.

After meeting him, I knew I'd found a great company. I got a few estimates, and most are in the same price range. So just find a company you like, one that gets good reviews about the employees being friendly, taking care of the furniture, etc. WM Pro guys were all that. Got my 1400 sq ft house completely loaded and unloaded into the new house 45 minutes away from start to finish in 5 hours! I was truly impressed. I would gladly call them again for my next move.

I messaged via Yelp (which he was previously responsive through), called his cell, texted ...NOTHING. Reading a previous review, looks like being a NO SHOW is a habit, even for ppl he had previously worked for. I am very glad I was able to contact someone else to do a same-day pick up else I would have been in a very bad position as I needed to vacate the house. I understand appts have to be canceled sometimes but common courtesy is to let someone know you're canceling or at least reply that you're not showing up.

The quality of work was good and I felt like we paid a more than fair price, but when we asked Lavern to come back he scheduled time and missed appointments again and again and now just doesn't reply, so I guess I have to move on to another service that will show up and return calls. 3 stars because if you get them they'll do good work, but not returning messages and no shows are almost as bad as not doing the work at all. We've had our fun with contractors and various people but we are very happy with the work Lavern and Antonio completed yesterday. I had a laundry list that I was given a fair quote for, and as things go, by the time they got here the how and what had changed a little bit but Lavern and Antonio knocked it all out. Here's what you get with these guys: Communicate effectively Show up on time Do awesome, professional work Fast but not sloppy They can match paint and get your materials Wide skill set Deliver the best outcome - not always the easiest Clean up workspace Work hard, all day and get the job done in one day Flexible and respectful to happenings like work from home, babies, etc. Payment options online, quick and easy. They did damage some drywall however they sent a tech out who did AN AMAZING JOB!!! I couldn't even tell where the damage was. The tech was was supposed to fix my buffet was not the best, but the company assumed responsibility and in the end all was okay.

Skyler came and he was nice when he was here. He was pretty nice when I handed him a check for $2000 but I haven't seen him since and they left all this equipment in my house. I don't know if I need to hire someone else. I don't know if this job is falling apart. I feel bad for telling everyone because I know they don't want me to, but I am over a barrel. I am wishing that I chose that a company that would prioritize me because I signed the contract first, even when they got a bigger job option come up. If they come make this right, I'm happy to change this review.
