I just moved this last weekend, and this was by far the smoothest, easiest move thanks to WM Pro Movers. They arrived on time and went right to work. They were very careful with my furniture, wrapped everything so nice, packed it in the truck nicely as well. The movers were polite and hard workers in this Texas Heat!! I can't complain too much, because they offered to do this in 1 hour vs charging me a 2 hour minimum like most companies, so I am grateful for them being flexible. However, you do get what you pay for. We have 2 media shelves that we have moved across the country as well as another move in Austin that has stayed in tact and was never an issue being moved. One of the movers picked the first one up and the moment he left the apartment we hear a big crash and a "um the shelf fell apart on its own". Of course no one saw what happened, but the next shelf that was moved was completely fine. They aren't responsible because of a liability waiver they make you sign for anything that is made up of particle boards (and they make you sign a waiver for this - which I haven't done so with any other company). So, I think my husband wouldn't have been as mad if 1) the mover said "I'm sorry, I slipped" or something like that since they can't be liable anyways, and 2) we can fix it, which we tried glue gun and all, but we will just have to get a new one... so, we saved on 1 hour of labor but will have to use that savings on a new media shelf. The other thing that annoyed me is that I was quoted for 2 people, but 3 showed up and they wanted to charge me for the 3 movers vs 2. They told me it's because they were so busy and running behind... Then tried to tell me it's a better deal because they will move faster. We got this resolved, but I have a feeling that if I didn't fight for my quote, I would have been charged $130 vs the $90 I was quoted. If you have furniture from ikea or anything that isn't real wood, don't utilize them, because they won't be liable for breaking them. Nate, the owner, came out and looked at my house prior to the move, just to get an idea of what would be needed manpower-wise. I liked him from the get-go! Great guy, very personable. After meeting him, I knew I'd found a great company. I got a few estimates, and most are in the same price range. So just find a company you like, one that gets good reviews about the employees being friendly, taking care of the furniture, etc. WM Pro guys were all that. Got my 1400 sq ft house completely loaded and unloaded into the new house 45 minutes away from start to finish in 5 hours! I was truly impressed. Here's the reason for the low rating. 1) I hired this company for packing a relo cube (pods) for my interstate move. I explicitly asked for someone with experience packing such cubes to ensure maximum space utilization and proper stacking. The end result showed it wasn't the case. 2) after loading my items in their truck, they took 1. 5 hrs to reach the container loading terminal which was actually a 30 mins drive or max an hour including their break.all that time was on the clock. 3) While loading the containers, i had to intervene a number of times to ask them to store things safely so they don't get damaged during the transit. I was told that " we have been doing it for 5 years" and they put a lot of furniture per their 5 yrs experience. 4) as expected , When we received the containers and opened them, we found number of items damaged & broken. I immediately called Nate who gave a cold and straight response that since they didn't transport the container, it's not their responsibility. He advised me to ask the container company (upack) which I clearly told that I won't since this was clearly his guys mistake in packing the container, but he continued with same excuse. Hi Being worked in customer service myself, I don't expect such response and attitude of not owning mistakes. Just moved this past weekend and it went great! They arrived in the first half of the quoted arrival time and gave me a call ahead of time to let me know they were on their way. When I originally booked the service we were supposed to be moving to a 2nd story apartment and at the last minute we switched to a 3rd story apartment. Told the movers and it was not a problem at all, just stated it might take more than originally quoted. However, the two movers worked quickly and were able to stay within the quoted time despite another flight of stairs. They were kind with our furniture and an extremely large couch and were polite through the whole process. Would 100% recommend! read more

In all my many times of moving its never been as easy as it was with this company. I made an appointment to move my furniture the 26th of august which so happened to fall on the same weekend as Hurricane Harvey. Being in Austin there was many heavy rains throughout the day. I called several times to make sure our business plans were still on and they assured me that everything was still in motion and that they kept an eye on the weather channel constantly and had plastic wrap to keep my furniture dry as well as slip resistant runways. They were in and out within a few hours and were pleasant and hard working. Never once took a break and took precaution when handling my heavy furniture. My new apartment was up a flight of stairs and has hardwood floors and nothing was damaged or scratched. Their pricing is fair and reasonable considering that their services not only provided 2 macho movers but also all of the equipment needed for the move; including the truck, dollies, and anything else that may be needed to accommodate my move. Not to mention every time I called I was always greeted by the owner. I will definitely be telling my friends and family about this company and their outstanding costumer service! read more

I must preface my review that I really liked these guys, personally. They were kind and kept me informed. Here's my story: The opportunity rose that I could begin to move my items into my new house a week or so early - so I contacted WM Movers and asked for help on two separate dates. They were on time and moved me perfectly the first time. Second time - nearly a week later, they came again while I was at the new house (6 blocks away and easily reachable for questions via text/phone) and took forever to pack up the remaining items. I called them after two hours asking if they were on their way. They said no, so I drove over to assess the situation. They had moved several items into the truck, but there were still many things they hadn't moved. I began carrying things to my car and to the truck to load them since I was paying $90/hour (two movers, on a weekday.) Didn't seem to help much - as I left and unpacked my car they were still loading at house. They failed to retrieve MANY items, lol, that were just sitting there - two boxes, a very large expensive *real* plant and planter, a large framed mirror on wall, my DVF luggage, a remote for TV, a lamp floor outlet to press on/off switch easily, and oddly, the approx $100 in change that was in my son's bank is missing. So, I'd say you might want to pass on this mover - my recommendation. read more

I needed movers to pick up a couch I purchased on Offer Up and bring it to my apartment, and I needed it right away (no bed yet...I'd be sleeping on this couch or the floor). I contacted WM Pro Movers, and Mike got back to me within minutes. Another company required a 2 hour minimum plus a $20 gas fee, but Mike's crew was able to do the whole job for less than half the amount quoted by the other company. This was my first time ever using movers for a move. They were recommended to me by someone at my previous apartment after a construction incident which I had to move in less than a week. The guys worked very fast and were very friendly even through an incident of being stuck in an elevator for 15 minutes. 5 hours late. I scheduled a move on 8/5/2018 @ 12 PM but the movers showed up at the property @ 5pm! after calling me at 4.30 pm to give me a heads up. I can understand that there are some unexpected delays but just a text or a call would have helped a lot. If you are going to be late at least let the customer know about that. On a positive note - As soon as the movers(two) showed up they were fast/efficient and completed the move in 2 hrs without any major damages. read more

For starters the 2 men were late and when they finally got to my house one of the men told my mother that "we can't do the tiny shit it ain't packed you had 48 hours to pack this shit" he was completely disrespectful guess his mother wasn't around to teach him not to disrespect women.After that they just left and one of the men told my mom "I don't want to talk to you" and this company always has an excuse for something my mom called to ask the owner what the problem was and that we just needed the owner Nate to explain and he was a completely unprofessional rude and disrespectful as well.Think twice before using this crap company . This company is a SCAM!! If I could rate this company with 0 stars, I would, and I rarely rate 1 star reviews. Our September move was the worst experience I've ever had with a moving company and I've moved 10-15 times in my life. All correspondence leading up to the day of was great, no complaints. Seemed like a great value and an owner that cared, because he did the initial communication. We were moving in the same apartment complex, to a bigger apartment, with one bedrooms worth of furniture. 600sq ft of normal furniture, sofa, queen bed, a couple dressers, boxes, table, desk. It took 2 movers 6 hours to move us, 6 HOURS! The two guys took forever.... one piece of furniture per 40 minutes, we timed them. Then when we went to see what was taking so long multiple times, they were on smoke breaks. We were charged $100 per hour, then given a 10% discount because they changed the time on us the day of. Which was fine, but seriously 6 hours!! I was so upset and feeling taken that I called the owner the next Monday. The owner was pleasant and agreed they were "fucking around" when they should have been hustling and we agreed that he would refund me $200. Nothing has been refunded to us and I've repeatedly called him, left messages, and texted. Now, 3 months later, here we are. If we would have received the refund I was going to write that the owner did right by the situation and righted a wrong, but no. I would not recommend this company and feel that we were scammed by this company. I will also be taking my review to other review platforms as well to make sure anyone looking for a moving company sees how we were treated. read more

Nate was a stud - I had an unusual move where I had to clear out an Austin retail store and ship everything to a different state. He needed to box everything up (almost 100 boxes), palletize everything (6 pallets), strap it down and shrink wrap it. I called a variety of moving and packing companies and Nate was the only one that seemed excited about the opportunity and he came at a great price. He didn't nickel and dime me for anything, very straight forward and professional in every way. I used WM Pro Movers for my move back in April. I had planned my move far in advance. I called Nate in January before my move and he came to my one-bedroom apartment to do an inventory of all of my things. We set the date for my move and he gave me a quote of $720 and said the move would take about 4-6 hours. He said he would email me the quote, but several weeks later I still had not received it. I then texted him and I finally received an image of the quote via text, a month after he had come to my apatment. Months later, as the move date was quickly approaching, I became concerned when I texted Nate to confirm the date and received no response. I finally received a text confirmation from his wife just two days before our move. Our move day arrived, the crew arrived and I had to inform them that the location of my new apartment had changed, but was only just down the street from the original location. They said this would not be a problem and they started packing. I had already started packing boxes days before they arrived. I also took down all pictures off of the walls and removed all curtains and curtain rods. We started off with a 4-man crew but one of them had to leave after a few hours to go to another move site. It took the remaining crew, along with my help, over TWELVE hours to pack and load my stuff. They couldn't fit all of my items in the truck, so several large items were left behind, including a couch. The unloading process was fairly quick, at which point it was already past 10pm. In the end, the entire process took over FOURTEEN hours. Nate sent the final bill to the movers, which ended up being over ONE THOUSAND dollars. Almost $400 more than what I was quoted. And took EIGHT hours longer than expected. On top of that, they left behind items at my old apartment that they had told me they would be able to remove. Also, they were supposed to pick up two bed frames that had been delivered to the other apartment I was supposed to move to, which was on the way to the new apartment, but since the move took SOOOO long, they didn't have time (or room in the truck) to pick them up. I ended up having to pick up two heavy bed frames (one of which I had to carry up a flight of stairs) and load them into my car and unload them by myself. For several days, I called and texted asking when they would be able to remove my remaining items at my old apartment. I continued to get the run around and had to call several other companies to get quotes for removing the items. Finally, at literally the last minute, they agreed to show up and remove the items. They removed about 2/3 of my stuff, then hastily threw the items in front of my apartment dumpster, then took off, leaving me by myself to remove the rest. They also left behind some of their packing equipment. I texted Nate for days asking when they would pick up their equipment, which I ended up having to drag to my new apartment and they finally picked it up after TWO weeks. All of the communication I received from Nate after my move was very cold and unfriendly. He simply did not care about my satisfaction as a customer and seemed to only want his money. I can tell from the responses he has left for other disgruntled customers that he simply doesn't care about pleasing his customers or apologizing for poor service. Needless to say, I have never had such a stressful moving experience in my life and I would never use this company again for moving services. read more

I had a quote from another company that was for two men and one truck. Nate and WM Pro matched the price and sent five men and two trucks. They were on time and took care packing all of the stuff in the truck. Outside of a couple of very small scratches and marks on the wall of the new house, nothing was damaged in the whole process. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat. The entire move took about 6 hours for a 4 bedroom house with lots of boxes and heavy furniture. read more

Nate & his team (we had David, Ryan & Jesse) were terrific with our move from our old home into a storage unit, & then a month later from storage into our new home. communications were prompt & polite, & pricing was transparent & fair. Nate even came out to see our home & items & planned for how & who on his team would move us. of course moving/storage can be stressful & a hassle, but despite all the worry & pre-planning WM functioned like a well-oiled operation & went smoothly & efficiently. our quoted move times were actually improved upon on the days & so our estimated costs were lowered. this, along with important/fragile items being carefully wrapped etc., definitely gets a 5* & recommendation. thanks guys. read more

If I could give 0 Stars I would. Where should I start.... We were quoted a price of $450 for a 3 1/2 hour move with 3 men and 1 truck. We originally scheduled our move for the 21st of September between the hour of 5pm and 6pm. Our close on our house was bumped up a week and I immediately called Nate to ask if he could accommodate moving it up to the 14th of September at the same time. He assured me that would be no problem. On the 14th I'm glad I messaged him as he had not moved my name on his schedule. He still assured me that he could still accommodate and that he would still have movers at my place at the time scheduled between 5pm and 6pm. The movers did not show up until 11pm. 5 HOURS past 6pm. This was absurd. He offered a discount and told me he was going to take care of me for his mistake. The movers took several smoke breaks throughout the move which I feel was time we were paying for. Then they went the wrong direction and had to turn around causing an extra at least 10 minutes or so onto the trip. I would say all together between smoke breaks and going the wrong direction they probably wasted 30 minutes of time I was paying for. I ended up with a bed that was warped. Then after the move was done at 2:30am they give me a price of $449.50. Does this sound like a discount to you? He stated he gave us 10%. I message Nate about this and he proceeds to tell me about all of the problems it caused him with his shortage of men the next day and so on. Remember this was not my fault that he did not schedule things as he stated he would. Then he tells me how there is a $30 dollar re fuel fee and a 3% card fee and this is why my price was still $449.50. Why was at least the fuel fee not included in the quote in the first place??? He swears that he told me when he gave me the quote but I assure you he did not. If you are going to quote someone an amount you should include your re fuel fee in with that quote. So... an accurate quote for me should have been $480 and if you are going to use a card there is a 3% card fee added. NONE of this was stated during the phone conversation. He then says to me "it was in the contract". Because when someone is moving they go read the fine print? NO they generally trust what you tell them on the phone for pricing is correct. I tell him that I will be leaving this negative review and he tells me "Go ahead and leave whatever review you would like, and I will respond." He has HORRIBLE customer service when it comes to ERRORS that he makes. The messages I have from him are absolutely ridiculous. If I had time to post our text message conversation I would most certainly and I might still do so later. I have never wanted to leave someone a bad review before as much as I did him after our conversation. I had referred some friends that are moving in a couple of months but after they saw how I was treated in the text messages they even said oh no we wont be using them. I have to admitted it was a good price compared to other companies but not for the crap I had to deal with and the way I was treated afterward. read more

I've moved a few times in my life and these are the worst movers I've ever had. They showed up without tools to take things apart, one mover injured himself leaving the 'new guy' who was on the job for the first time ever to do the rest of the work. And they charged me the full price! The job was way less than stellar. They wrecked my couch, table and bed frame because they didn't wrap them properly. They also let a few boxes fall from their stacks and didn't pick them up. If that wasn't bad enough, I've contacted Nate, the owner, and they never responded to my concerns. They're the cheapest moving company for a reason. read more
