Coffee, a fridge, and a microwave are provided in the rooms. The check in time is better than most places: 2pm. They have a decent little motel breakfast in the lobby (gravy and biscuits are included and not terrible). There's a popcorn machine that guests are welcome to grab a bag from for free. Ice water is in the lobby when you get in from a long, hot day on the river. We've never had an issue with noise or an insufficient amount of pillows/towels. Parking is plentiful. The 1st floor rooms are accessed from the outside. Elevator always works and is sizable. There is only 1 luggage cart, but I'm guessing people who are staying at a Super 8 aren't bringing multiple suitcases. Price is reasonable for what you get ($99-120 depending on where you book; we pay $99 on Expedia in the summer months). This is our go to spot for after floating lodging (we're past that camping period of our lives haha).

The desk staff at check in and check out were friendly and professional. Our room was very clean, nicely decorated and fit our needs well. They welcome large dogs which is a relief when traveling with a German shepherd dog. I booked thru Super 8 customer service line. The representative was helpful, patient and signed me up for their rewards program which grants greater flexibility in booking. Thank you for a top notch experience!

The young gentleman working the front desk when I checked in was courteous and helpful getting me settled in. I booked a king room with a study. The room was large enough so I didn't feel cramped and crowded. I could spread out and get some work done. The room felt modern, the linens were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was pretty standard. My only complaint about my visit was the water pressure. I love a good hot shower. I tried different settings on the shower head but was disappointed. They offer breakfast and have a very nice selection. There are standard cold items fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc. there was a waffle station and meat and eggs. The coffee was the perfect compliment to my meal. I will be traveling this way again soon. I will be back soon.

My bar was a bit low when booking this particular hotel prior to our departure. Rolla is a mining area and not really a bustling spot for regular travelers like myself otherwise. Parked directly between Springfield and St. Louis though, it was going to be the ideal spot for us to wrap up 10 hours of driving that day. This Hampton Inn seemed to be the best option in the area. Clearly the most expensive hotel for Rolla, it appeared other options had exceptionally bad ratings or were super cheep road side rooms. Traveling with one other female, a kid and a dog, we booked the Hampton Inn because: 1) it would take a pet ($75 pet fee) 2) it had a frig in the room 3) assumed better safety based on hotel brand name 4) no other known option in my opinion I felt comfortable booking Small, friendly, easy, relatively clean, I found this Hampton Inn just fine. It includes breakfast every morning in addition to two bottles of water in the room. Priced a touch high for area, but not really though for being the best option in area and safety in the Hilton branded Hampton name. Carson who checked us in was friendly, welcoming and explained all we needed to know. Thanks Carson for the hospitality. No USB port options in room, which was my only noticeable con observation. The bathroom could use a little update, maybe some sanding down of the paint on the vanity that was pealing away specifically, but was clean, with plenty of towels and bottled pump shampoo/conditioner/body wash in shower. It was ok. It had a clock, when many hotels are doing away with these in today's world. With 4am wake up times, best to have options for alarms. Although we arrived late, I believe it also serves an easy dinner in the same area as they serve breakfast. Pictures look like maybe a simply pasta, some breads, etc. Don't let my 3 be a discouraging rating. It means to me OK good, not OK bad.

They have so many activities to keep adults and kids occupied! Each day's activities are posted on a board in the lodge. The adults loved the tournaments-shuffleboard, ladder-ball, etc. 4 year old daughter had a blast with the train rides, crafts, and mostly the pool. There are evening festivities in the lodge such as a carnival, talent show, etc. lots of fun with the other guests. Great river floats in raft/canoe/inner tubes twice a day-fantastic! The pool was recently redone with a slide-very nice area. Lots of independent activities available from ping pong to Archery to mini-golf, plus play grounds. Meals are included and are good-burgers, chicken n dumplings, fried chicken, spaghetti to name a few of the dishes. Owned by several generations of same family. Owners and staff so nice and helpful! The cabins are clean and have ac-but they are old. I'm a priss and brought my own towels, pillows and bedding and made do. It was ok-didn't spend a lot of time in cabins anyway but be aware they are rustic. Overall a great family get away at a very reasonable price! B
