On Sunday I locked myself out of my apartment and called Budget Locksmith Services, which I found on your site. Sal was a hero. While I was waiting for him to arrive, my cellphone died. I had no way to continue to communicate with him, and I was praying that when he found he was unable to reach me that he would not think I had abandoned the service call. It took longer than what I thought it would take, but I was so happy to see him arrive in his van. The first thing he did was apologize for the delay. He had been coming from Hollywood, and a horrible thing had happened -- the driver of a vehicle in front of him hit a homeless person who had leaped into the traffic lane. Police and emergency responders had blocked all traffic. Sal spoke with one of the police officers, explaining that he was trying to get to a woman who was locked out of her apartment. The officer helped him to maneuver his van out of the traffic so that he could continue on his way to West Hollywood. He opened my door quickly, and apologized again for the delay. Really happy with their work! I have used this company a while ago when I had a car problem and was very satisfied with the service back then, so I decided to call them again today. The technician was ready and willing to go out of his way to help me out with the installation of a few new door knobs around my house as well as fixing my front door. He showed up on time and proceed to inform me about the different options I have and an estimate of the parts and labor. The prices were very reasonable and after I approved the cost, Sal started working on it. He was very careful and very neat. Clean after himself and finished the job in a reasonable time. Gave me all the indications and extra tips and make sure I understood about the lifetime warranty on the locks he installed. The best locksmith I have ever used!! Our keys were stolen and we were left feeling very unsafe and full of anxiety. I called Budget Locksmith and he arrived to my house within 20 MINUTES! He was so kind and helpful. Instead of replacing the entire lock which would have cost me hundreds of dollars, he simply tweaked the lock a bit so it required a different key. He only charged me $95 and was in and out within 25 minutes. They also accept Venmo which makes the process so easy. I have had locksmiths before charge me $400 for the same job. He also made me spare keys free of charge. I have been ripped off by so many locksmiths in my past. This was such a great experience. Sal is a lifesaver! A locksmith is one of those services many people don't often need, but when you do need a locksmith, you want someone like Sal. He showed up within 15 minutes of my call (which was at 9pm on a Monday), was professional, friendly, and experienced. Within minutes he had cleanly opened the door to my apartment and charged less than anyone else in the area. The biggest shock to me (in a good way!) is that Sal made NO damage to the lock. I always thought you had to replace the whole thing.. new set of keys... $350... not with Sal. Beware of other locksmiths who try to overcharge this way! I called Sal because someone i had rented my apartment out had locked me out and disappeared. He showed up on time and got me into my place. When i saw what had been done to my house , the destruction, damage and violation of my things i broke down and sobbed. Sal was not only kind, he made sure both my door and gate were incredibly safe and everything changed so that my tenant could never get back in or duplicate the old keys. He consoled me and charged me so very little because of what the other damage was going to cost me. Not only that he called me later that night to check in on me as i was so upset. Well I called this company one of only 2 I really Trust out here... already expecting that there was a high charge for coming out this time of day.... So a man answered my call and came to the rescue!! He told me that there was a late "after hour fee" and that it doesn't include making a new key for my car, so I could go home! I was having issues with two locks specifically them latching properly. I emailed/called a couple places for help. One place said they may need to remove the door (which seemed extreme).
