At 1:30 I call to make sure the car is still available and SHOcKiNGly it wasn't. They told me they have another vehicle which is "new". When I get into it, the car has 90K miles on it and no back up camera. Also the mileage was reversed. Despite giving me an unsafe vehicle that I stuck with... they wanted to charge me for gas. Overall horrible customer service, old and tainted cars, lack of organization and no remorse for anything. sTaY away!

I had notified the receptionist that i will be going 2,000 miles and need a safe and reliable vehicle to go the distance. Amore representative charged me $20 a day on top of the standard price for extra mileage. They gave me a vehicle and assured me that it is functional in every way. The same night i left for my trip, within hours the check engine light came on. At the time it was night and i was already a far distance away. Within 24 hours the air conditioner in the car ceased to work. I had no cell phone reception, and was 1,000 miles away. It was late August and air temperatures was in the 90's. I had spent my trip miserable with a dysfunctional car in extreme humidity barely being able to sit in the car during the day. Driving back 1000 miles with no AC was pure hell! Upon arrival back i submitted to the Amore representative all the evidence in which they had failed to provide me a safe vehicle, able to take on the additional mileage they charged me for. The vehicle they rented to me was unsafe, unclean, and not what i paid for. They had also charged extra for gas, and later on put a $3,000 charge on my account with no explanation. AVOID BY ALL MEANS!!!! Renting from them is DANGEROUS, they are schemers and have no regard for human safety.

I met a wonderful human being who took care of me professionally. Everything was ready set, and I just had to sign, got the keys for the vehicle I requested, and I was on my way. This second time it was not as bad, but still not clean. A couple days later got a low tire pressure and ran out of fluids in the car. Since I work 3 miles from where they are located, I called them figuring that since they serviced cars they might be willing to put the put the fluids in and put the air back in the tires. Instead of providing any customer service for their product, they recommend I either go to a gas station or drive back to the dealership approximately 45 miles away to get this issue resolved. Someone called me pretending to be GEICO and claimed they were adding my son to my insurance policy and explaining the premium increase. This person knew every detail of what had happened at the dealership, including my son's information, my insurance details, and my home address. The scammer was able to withdraw $548 from my bank account. Given how much confidential information they had, it strongly suggests that someone with insider access may have been involved. Unfortunately, my son was later in an accident, and the vehicle was declared a total loss. Thankfully, I purchased GAP coverage and an extended warranty. The accident occurred in early March, and it is now May. The dealership still has not completed its part of the process to apply the GAP and extended warranty funds toward the remaining loan balance. I have spoken with the warranty company, and they confirmed that they sent the necessary funds to the dealership back in March. Despite leaving multiple messages for both the finance department and management at the Nutley location, I have received no response. As a result, there is still an outstanding balance on the loan that should have been resolved months ago. I strongly urge anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to proceed with caution. My experience has been extremely frustrating and concerning.
