I do not recommend budget towing at all. I paid them to tow my vehicle, and the driver hit a basketball hoop and dragging it down the side of my car they would not turn it into their insurance. They are refusing to pay for it their ducking my calls they are The worst company you could ever use to tell your vehicle if you want it to be safe he thinks that if he doesn't do any of the work, he's supposed to do that. He doesn't have to pay me so I'm in the process of doing all his work for him to try to get my money that he owes me Because he can't even do his own job. He can't even tell a car right without hitting the basketball hoop and destroying my property with no disregard, didn't care does not care about his business. Does not care about anybody but himself worst business ever. If I could give a zero I would, but I have to get at least one star make sure the world knows how this person works their company. And he finally responded to tell me that he's not responsible for it because he didn't do it because he did, but because I took too long to do his job and get the quote and all that now he don't have to take responsibility and pay for what he did read more

I hope you never break down over the road away from home... but if you do, Wentzville, MO is the friendliest place to have your vehicle go belly up on you. My alternator seized up & caught fire. I pulled off the interstate to put it out & within a couple of minutes a friendly Wentzville Police Officer named Officer Boyette was right there to help me. Then a cool guy named Wesley helped me push my truck out of the traffic lane up hill so others could get by. Officer Boyette called a tow truck & another awesome dude showed up, Budget Tow Truck driver Jacob. They all helped me find a mechanic & got me squared away. Now this is how public service should be done with our tax dollars. I am thoroughly impressed, grateful & thankful for how helpful, courteous, compassionate & professional all these people were. This company towed my car and that's where the lies started. When I arrived to get my car I was told that I could not get any personal property out of it yet the police officer that towed my car wouldn't sign a release until I had that paperwork. The young girl working the desk tried all she could to deny us the right to our own property. When finally speaking to her boss I was allowed to get my paperwork from the car. When finally recovering the car I noticed multiple aftermarket parts that I had put on my car missing including the fins to my diffuser which cost $30 a piece. I'm currently missing 6 of the 8 that were on the car at the time of towing. Picture is proof of what my car looks like currently. On top of that my license plates from the state of Ohio were stolen off the car by the tow company which is illegal as they have no jurisdiction over out of state plates. We've contacted the department of motor vehicles in Ohio that is now investigating this theft. They tried to blame this on the police officer that towed my car but we reached out to that police department and found out indeed the tow company was the one that removed the plates. We will be subpoenaing the camera recordings through our attorney to get substantial proof that the tow company did indeed steal the plates as well as lie saying the police chief removed them. On top of this all of my license plate bolts were stolen off the vehicle it wasn't until I called this tow company back saying they stole my personal property that they so conveniently offered to give them back to me yesterday after 4 days of trying to get my stolen property back. Still haven't received my fins for my diffuser but I've already filed a police report regarding those as the tow company had them on the car at time of tow. We have lots of substantial proof that was submitted to the police department that the parts were on the car at the time of tow. This company is full of liars, thieves, & conducts incredibly shady business as a whole. Hopefully these investigations by the DMV, local police, & state police of Ohio finally hold this company accountable for their actions. read more

This company stole parts off of my friends car and continued to lie about it. They also gave back some of the parts but they belonged to someone else's car not mine. I believe this company is doing a lot of illegal business and should be looked into by local law enforcement. After a week they still have not returned the property stolen off of the vehicle. The young woman who works the desk is incredibly unhelpful and continually says there is no manager on duty, very sketchy place going to be reporting them to the local police departments to let them know of the illegal activities conducted at this tow yard. read more

I needed a tow today due to a tire blowout. The dispatcher was very friendly and professional. The driver, Frank, arrived in a timely manner. He got me hooked up and off the road quickly and safely, and towed my car to the service center I requested. He was very thorough; explaining the entire process and fee structure to me. After unloading my car, he saw I was about to be stranded at the service center for several hours. He drove me home! I know it was only slightly out of the way he was headed, but still very much appreciated. I felt safe and comfortable with the whole process. I will definitely recommend Budget towing. My daughter called them for 2 days and was told to call back because they were too busy. On the second day she was told they have trucks and when they took the address to and from, the dispatch told her to call Sherman Towing and hung up on her. Poor customer service and rude. Not good at all. These folks are scandalous. When my vehicle was towed and I went to their office to sign a letter of release which included all of my information; name, phone and address in order for the insurance tow company to pick up my car. They never contacted me to let me know that the insurance company had dropped the ball. Instead they mailed a certified letter to my business during covid, in which mail is picked up once a week or two and then called the lien holder to advise that the car was in tow and they would become the rightful owner if it wasn't picked up. Now, why do all of this when you had a signed release with the guarantor name on it and never once called the guarantor. They had the nerve to tell me that they reached out to the address that the dmv had on file. I'm sure the dmv had my name on file too as the rightful owner and the company had my contact information in their records yet they called the lien holder and reached out to the business but not the person that guarantee the lien payment is made each month. This company will NOT tow a car of mine or my business in the future and I will make sure to let everyone know they have scandalous practices. read more

Don't have an accident in Wentzville, even if it's not your fault, and your car gets towed because they've taken you to the hospital with injuries, then when you get out, you take them the title and proof of insurance, like they ask, yet they still won't let you get in to get your prescription glasses. They're a racket with the Wentzville PD. Horrible customer service! Don't use them if you can help it!!!!! read more
