Ironically the same thing happened to the next guy that was behind me in line, like if it's scripted or something After telling them I'm not waiting for someone to wake up, shower, eat their breakfast and then decide to bring the rental in, I requested that they change my reserved rental for something available (which of course was smaller than what I had requested). After using the vehicle and returning it I was told the rental was $79.99 and was charged over $90, when asked I was told "taxes". Are you kidding me ... taxes ... was my response and of course I got the whole hidden $5.00 rental fee and other hidden fees like I was paying for my cel phone bill or something... Needless to say I will not be utilizing their services again.

We scheduled the pick up of the truck a MONTH AGO. we get to the place this morning to pick it up, not only to find out that it is not here, but an HOUR AWAY. we wait, and hour comes and goes, and find out that it is still yet another hour away, being lied to by the Penske company, when this truck was supposed to be sitting in the parking lot waiting for us to get it about 15 hours ago. This company is an absolute disgrace and i will never be giving them my business again.

Just our experience, they dragged their feet. They don't have enough workers and your left to go hook up your own trailer and many times it's not the one that they have the computer so then when you come back, you have a lot of aggravation.

I realize that the end / start of the month is probably the busiest for any U-Haul location but you would think having a truck reservation would help and that these locations would realize how busy they are going to be. The line at 9:15am was ridiculously long and barely moving. They looked under staffed as they only had one guy moving the line along. We waited so long we made friends with the couple in front of us. I even explored the store and realized they have boxes for everything! What if we had hired movers? We were almost 2 hours behind schedule after everything was said and done. Granted the guy was super courteous when it was finally our turn and he let us know that the system was giving them trouble all morning.
